30 Old Times

POV Astrid

We were shocked when Captain Toothiana called me and told us that something had happened, something bad. However it felt good to have some more free time from the duties as a soldier even though I enjoy every moment, the thrill I get from it feels amazing.

"He will come back soon, he's just seeing his dad," I grinned to Toothless.

"I won't take your position!" Hiccup snapped when he rushed out from the house.

"It went that bad again?" I sighed.

"Yeah, dad was stubborn sometimes and mom thinks the same way," Hiccup groaned and took the leash of Toothless.

"Well, like father, like son," I laughed and poked Hiccup to shoulder with my fist.

"Ouch! You dare to push around the crippled one!" Hiccup chuckled.

"Hicc! Your jokes are out of hand," I rolled my eyes. We were heading to park now through the snowy Berk area. You could see the warmth inside the houses when you looked inside the windows.

"Ouch, umm... I just wish that someone would've already said--," he began.

"BREAK A LEG!" I snorted and cut him off.

"Precisely!" He cheered and threw a ball in front of us. He let go of the leash and Toothless rushed after it.

He had lost his leg few years back in an accident. This didn't bother him that much though, he just got himself a prosthetic leg and goes through every day.

"But how have you managed in the army?" I asked.

"Well I've been really stealthily when I take showers and so on, no one has noticed my leg so far and I've managed to keep up with everyone quite good," Hiccup shrugged and I smiled to him a bit.

Hiccup coughed and rubbed his neck, his cheeks were turning pink. His reaction made me laugh a bit.

"Where did that dog wander off?" Hiccup clicked his tongue and held his hands on his waist.

Then he nodded towards the park. "Mind if I go out and search him? You'll have your dog to keep you company until I return. We really should hurry so we won't miss the racing," Hiccup grinned.

"Sure, go ahead and then let's go and get ready," I yelled after him.

I leaned against a lamp post. Someone was walking towards me, I heard the steps making the snow crunch under it. My dog seems calm so I'm not too worried.

"Hi!" A woman greets me, her brown hair is on ponytail and she smiles to me.

"Hello," I nodded my head to her. She began to pet my dog and I laughed when she licked her hand.

"Do you live here?" She asked politely.

"Yeah I'm from Berk. Can I help you with something?" I chuckled.

"In fact you can. My name is Eva and I'm looking for someone," she said and looks around worryingly.

"Just ask away," I grinned.

"So Wolfs likes to have some whiskey time to time... Where's the nearest bar? I think he went there," she laughed nervously.

I point straight in front me,"The street next to me has the only one in town. I hope that you'll find him safely. My name is Astrid by the way."

"Thanks. We came here to search information of cars that are used in illegal racing," she sighed.

I flinched a bit. "Oh really, well good luck finding that place too," I smiled nervously.

"Yeah well, bye for now Astrid. You're kind!" She cheered when she ran off.

I guess we won't go out for racing tonight if there are some illegal issues involved. Some idiot has messed up things again, before it didn't matter much but as soldiers our records must be clean.

Little later Hiccup ran back from the darkness of the park. "Phew! Toothles had found a nice hideout. Anyways better get going so we won't miss the start!" Hiccup laughed.

I touched his shoulder quickly and I stopped him. "No Hiccup, not tonight. There are some detectives, apparently some of the cars are illegal so... better stand down for this race....but," I added with a grin.

"But?" Hiccup raised his eyebrow.

"We could see a movie at my place," I whispered.

"Some girly love movie?" Hiccup groaned.

"Nope, some action," I winked my eye.

"Enough to make you seek safety from my arms?" He said playfully.

I gasp and kicked some snow from the ground towards him. Toothless managed to dodge but most of it went to Hiccup. "Hiccup! I don't get scared easily," I mumbled.

"Yeah I know," he said smiling and rolled his eyes.

"But I could stay right next to you anyways," I added mysteriously. I heard him gulping nervously and it made me smile. He is nice but so anxious sometimes.

POV Jack

She can't keep her head straight while she walks. Again she glanced behind her, like making sure that I'm right behind her. This time I respond by staring her back, then I nod my head which caused her to flush and turn her head back to front.

These hallways of Arendelle's castle seem never ending. Today she'll go out into a meeting and later in the evening we're ought to return back to the base.

"Just keep in mind to keep yourself further away from me while I'm having the negotiation," Elsa whispered.

"Is it something important?" I asked like I wouldn't care.

"Uh, he is old.... how you say it, well I know that person from the past. I kind of told him not to come back," she sighed.

"And now he is back?" I laughed sarcastically.

"Yes, he did something bad but now it has been almost a year and he says he found redemption," she mumbled. I could hear a trace of doubt in her.

The castle guards opened up some double doors and Elsa paused for a moment. She was nervously squeezing her hands together for a while, then she inhaled deeply and walked in graciously. I followed after her.

Elsa walks directly to a round table. I see couple of her royal advisers around it already, the table is quite big and there's one man who I don't know. He stands up from the opposite side of the table where Elsa goes to stand.

"Not necessary," Elsa said quite coldly. Her voice made me glance over my shoulder at their direction, I was closing up the double doors after us. The man had tried to approach her with his hand held in front of him, he was offering his hand for a shake.

"Fine your majesty," he said and nodded his head down. He had a bald place on top of his head.

My hand rests on the handle of my sword that comes with the official uniform of Arendelle. Steadily I walk towards them.

"Sit down Duke Weselton,"Elsa suggested and pointed at the chair opposite to her.

"It's WeAselton," the Duke murmured and sat down. His eyes were wandering around the negotiations room, he was doing it so stealthily so you could barely notice it.

"My apologies. Why have you contacted me after everything?" Elsa said directly. I went to stand behind her chair.

"My Queen, he has come to offer some new trading contracts and we must consider them," the older one of the advisers told to Elsa.

"What could he possibly offer to us?" Elsa snapped.

"First of all, my area has good amounts of life stock. You... well you have ice and snow, maybe some fish," Duke Weaselton laughed. Elsa flinched when he mentioned ice and snow.

"Why should I trust in you?" Elsa said and sounded amused.

"He offers his sons hand in for marriage and then we would have free life stock provided. I think it is a good suggestion your majesty, that way he won't try to betray you," the younger adviser said.

"You have a son?" Elsa's voice raised.

"Yes and he is as handsome as I am," Duke Weaselton grinned and his fingers were toying with his mustache.

"And you assure that you won't betray us if we agree to this?" older adviser spoke.

"What about my opinion?" Elsa spoke quickly. I saw her getting tensed.

"I'm sorry my lady but you must do what's good for the kingdom. They have threatened us with war and they have a powerful ally. I was hoping that you would agree to this contract and we didn't have to tell you this," the older one sighed.

Duke Weaselton stood up and grinned. "Unless the monster has already taking a liking towards some poor young man," he laughed deviously.

Then he looks at me, something in him made me squeeze the handle of the sword a bit tighter.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Elsa hissed and stood up quickly. Her chair scratched the floor loudly and she flipped her hair back.

"You know very well what incident I'm talking about. Or has Arendelle already forgotten what kind of monster you are? How dangerous?" Duke chuckled. His two bodyguards dressed in red stepped on each side of him and came out from the shadow where they had until now stood.

"Get out," Elsa growled and I walk beside her as the situation starts to feel uneasy.

"Go behind me," I whisper to Elsa who looks at me. Her eyes were mad but when she saw me it seemed like she calmed down a bit.

"Ah, there he is. The man that your kingdom has been chanting about. Future king I assume? Unless you kill him before that happens... that poor young man," Duke smiled deviously and stared at me.

"I have no idea what you're mumbling about but I suggest that you leave right away sir," I yelled angrily.

"You're all over the papers in Arendelle. A mysterious man who has been seen kissing the Queen of Arendelle. A man with white hair and blue eyes, who follows her around like a dog but doesn't know the truth about the fair maiden who he has a relationship with," Duke chuckled and took a step towards us.

"I assure you that our Majesty has done no such things," the older adviser spoke. They have been backing up towards the doors this whole time.

"My life is no concern of yours Duke. Leave," Elsa shouted, she was nearly panicking.

"I see so you're afraid that he knows the truth.... well, he won't because ARENDELLE WILL HAVE ITS MONSTER BACK WHEN I TAKE SOMETHING SHE LOVES AWAY!" Duke yelled as he lifted up his walking stick and then aimed the tip of it at me.

"NO!" I heard Elsa screaming next to me and then a large, thick ice wall rose in front of us. The bullet smashed against the wall.

He had brought a disguised gun into the castle.

"Was he trying to shoot me?" I groaned.

"J-Jack... I ... I," Elsa mumbled and stared at her hands. There was an icy path leading from her to the wall that was between us and the Duke.

"I knew already," I said in soothing tone before I jumped up. I flew over the wall and then I landed down. Duke was staring at me in horror.

"Now then... if you think she is a monster, then you'll realize... I'm the demon," I snapped as I walk closer to Duke. He didn't notice how I froze his feet on the ground as well as his bodyguards feet.

I heard how the ice wall melted behind me and Elsa's distant voice calling my name. However I didn't listen, my mind was furious when I took the sword out and I lifted it up. The fear in Duke's eyes was satisfying me when I got ready to take a fatal swing at him. See how his blood drains away from him and then I would do the same thing to his bodyguards. I just laughed shallowly when he tried to get free from my ice that was holding him still.

Just when I was about to pierce the chest of that bastard I saw an angel. Her platinum blonde hair was like glowing in the rays of the sun which were coming in from window, her eyes were desperate.

"Jack stop," the angel cried and then approached me. I was just staring at her.

My hands were shaking and I dropped down the sword when she wrapped her arms around me, her embrace felt safe.

"W-what am I doing?" I whispered when I responded to her embrace. I bury my face into her soft hair and I close my eyes.

"I'm here now," Elsa whispered and gave a kiss on my cheek.

"C-could we leave now?" Duke's fearful shivering voice pleaded.

"No. You're going into dungeon," Elsa snapped. I lift my face up and I look around, Elsa's advisers have fled from the room and we were left alone with Duke and his bodyguards.

"Just don't let him take us," Duke gulped and stares at me. Slowly I let go of Elsa and I go out from the room when her castle guards came rushing in.

First I kept on walking, then going faster and soon running. I need to get away from here. I ran down the stairs and to another hallway where I ran behind a corner.

I nearly got Kristoff to fall down when I rushed down the hallway. I had just managed to put sword back to hang from my waist.

"Hey! Where's Elsa, I heard that something happened!" Kristoff exhaled.

I turn around so I could tell him that I left her. How I panicked when I realized what I was about to do to that man. Most of all the fair amount of how enjoyable killing that man in cold blood would have been terrifies me.

"She--," I began but then I heard someone running down from upstairs.

"Jack," Elsa gasped when she saw me. My eyes widened and I turn around without saying anything.

"Hey!" Kristoff gulped when I started to run again.

As soon as I find my way out from the castle I can leave. I can't stand this, she can't be with a man who desires to kill people.

Out of breathe I pushed a door open to a bedroom. Directly I rushed to the window and I opened it up, the cool winter air rushed in and I lifted my other feet to window still.

"Stop!" Elsa panted out angrily and immediately I fell from the window.

I stare at the ice bars that are covering the open window.

"Let me go!" I groaned when I managed to get up from the floor. Elsa was breathing heavily, she had frozen the door shut behind her.

"I won't let you go, not when you're acting like that," she said quietly and came to me. She didn't hesitate at all when she took my hand into hers.

"I wanted to kill him, see him suffer," I muttered, "Not because I wanted to protect you or anything... but because I wanted the thrill."

"Jack," Elsa's voice was soft her hand guided my hand to her waist and one step later our bodies were against each other. Her eyes were staring into mine.

"I told you – I told you that I'm the demon, so many times," I hissed and I closed my eyes but it was too late. One tear that felt like it was steaming hot was running down my cheek until it cooled down and froze.

"You were just mad... most of all you're afraid. I know, I've been there," she said while her hand was stroking my cheek gently. Her words made me open my eyes.

"The Arendelle incident?" I managed to ask.

"Yes. How long have you known about me?" Her voice shivered but she managed to smile a bit to me.

"Every private has ability at our base... Yours, well... I saw some of it when you didn't realize that you used it," I sighed.

"I didn't tell you because I thought you would hate me even more because I have a similar power as you do," she gulped and looks away from me nervously.

Her words made me laugh. "Hate you?" I replied.

"You treated me really coldly and harshly ever since we met," she told me and I felt her body quivering against me.

"Fucking hell, I just tried to get you to quit. I didn't want women into army because they might get hurt or...or," I began but then I wasn't able to finish.

"Or?" She insisted.

"Ignore the last part... anyways, the power of yours fascinates me," I grinned. "No one else would have been able to stand my body's coldness like you have which was the first thing that I noted."

"Why did you run? Why didn't you stay? I wish you would speak to me when you're going through hard things," she said seriously all of a sudden.

I let go of her and I took one step back. "You're right, just now I let myself forget what kind of man I am deep down in my heart. There's nothing good in me as you saw, I nearly killed him," my voice was cracking up and my heart was beating painfully.

"No, you didn't kill him. You are kind and caring deep down, sometimes you just forget," Elsa smiled and touched my chest where the heart is.

"How could you possibly understand?" I snapped when I threw her hand away.

"Because once I thought of myself as a monster. My anger nearly got people killed and my selfishness. I want to tell you Jack, about what happened in Arendelle," Elsa spoke strictly. Her eyes narrowed and she was serious.

"You're not a monster, anything else but that," I said sarcastically.

"Sit," Elsa whispered and pointed at a large bed. I glance at the ice bars in the window and I sigh, there's no way for me to get out so I go to sit where she pointed out. Soon she sat next to me and she was nervously clutching the fabric of her dress in her hands.

"All my childhood I was locked up in my room. I shot Anna with my powers before that, she nearly got killed because of it. If it would've been her heart, she would be gone," Elsa whispered and her hand went over her chest.

"They locked you up? What kind of parents are they?" I gasped.

"I wanted to be there, I was afraid of hurting people. My parents were afraid too and they went to search for a cure but they never returned. Years later it was my coronation day. I had been stocking up all my fears and thoughts of me being a monster. Somehow I managed to get through the day until the great ball at the evening," Elsa's voice was shivering and she took a long break from speaking. She was breathing shallowly.

"C-Could you hold my hand?" Elsa whispered all of a sudden. Her tear filled eyes were staring at me. Slowly I nod my head and took her hand into mine.

"Go on," I urged her when my thumb brushed over the back of her hand.

"That's.. that's when I got furious, my emotions got me to lose control over my powers. You see, Anna wanted to marry a guy she just met and later on he even turned out to be a villain. However, before that, I lost control. People were chanting about me being a monster when they saw what I could do and then I ran."

Again she took a slight pause to gather her thoughts.

"I build an ice castle to the mountains, a little while later my sister came and tried to convince me to come back... I accidentally used my power on her, I didn't know she was affected to heart. Then I forced her to go but soon that annoying prince Hans arrived. I nearly killed some men at that point when they tried to shoot me with arrow. I lost my consciousness and they brought me back to Arendelle," she said quietly and glanced at me. A small smile crept to her face.

"What happened at here?" I asked.

"They told me that Anna died because of me, that I would be executed too. At that point I had run away from a dungeon where they kept me. I was ready to let myself die by the blade of Hans but then... Anna rushed to me and saved me before she turned to ice. That's when I cried my heart out, embraced her --- my love, our love towards each other as sisters then melted the ice and she came back. Love melted Arendelle from curse of eternal ice, that's why I'm telling you. Love is strong!" Elsa cheered and her smile was warm.

"I see, so your core is love," I spoke blankly.

"Yes and I love you Jack," she whispered and leaned her head against my shoulder. I saw how the ice bars melted at the window, now I could leave.

"I guess I can't deny you from loving me," I whispered and she grabbed onto me tightly. Her hug was strong and I felt her heart thumbing against my chest now.

"Because I ---," I began but my phone started ringing. I groan in irritation when she had to let go.

"It's Colonel Moon," I stated as I recognized the special tone I had chosen for him. Something really annoying.

"Take the call," Elsa urged.

"Jack," I responded.

"Son, listen to me carefully," he panted out to the phone.

"Is something wrong?" I questioned and I squeezed the phone.

"The base—it was attacked when there weren't many people protecting. Clever bastards used the weekend, we managed to get everyone out – yes your dog too. Staff is quite clever fellow," he chuckled and I heard barking.

"Dad... What happened?" I insisted to know. I flinched a bit when I felt Elsa's hand on my knee all of a sudden, I glance at her and I see her worrying.

"Pitch got the base. Some got injured. Other Captains are making calls to warn the soldiers who were out for the weekend. Now the order is for everyone for staying where they are until now," my father exhaled.

"I understand. Mom and Shawn are not threatened?" I whispered with my voice quivering. My birth home was near the base which worries me.

"Toothiana went to get them when it all started. We're in North's hideout, you know him and his will to sometimes just be alone," dad laughed and then coughed.

"Uh, are you alright?" I gulped.

"A little scratch, that's all. Now I must make some other calls but stay where you are and keep Elsa close to you, just call me if you see something suspicious," he ordered strictly.

"Like shadows?" I mumbled.

"Yes. Try not to worry too much, enjoy your free time until you get orders of how to proceed. Take care of yourself my boy," he insisted. His voice was breaking apart.

"Take care of yourself father," I told him softly. Then I ended up the call.

"What was that?" Elsa wanted to know. She was staring at me and like she was trying to read my mind.

"Base was attacked, everyone is safe but for now we're ordered to stay here...," I sighed as I stuff the phone back to my pocket.

"Oh," Elsa wondered aloud, her fingers were playing with a loose hair strand that was hanging from her forehead.

"Awh, aren't you cheerful because of some extra time in Arendelle. Heck, I even wanted to know the best place to take girl on a date," I laughed sarcastically as I look her under my eyebrows. She flinched on the word date and she began staring at me. I smirk to her and I see how flush begins to spread on her face.

"D-date?" She repeated in shock.

"Or I could just take you on this bed... until you're too tired to go out with me," I shrugged and then I lay down on my back with my hands folded behind my neck.

"This bed--," Elsa began with her voice being inspiring, it was seducing and playful at the same time. Her body was climbing on top of me, "—this bed and room is for the Arendelle's ruling couple. For the King and Queen of Arendelle, they renovated it for that purpose when I was a child... for me and my future husband."

"Okay so we better then get up and go to your room missy--," I laughed nervously, she made my cheeks heat up by her words. She just giggled as she grabbed onto my jackets collar and pulled me to sit.

Her legs were on my both sides, our bodies were tightly against each other. Her eyes were keenly stripping me down, she bit her bottom lip in a manner that made my body tense up and want to take her right now.

"Jack, you're the future king? At least I hope so... which would mean that we would just get this bed into our use a bit sooner," she whispered and lifted my face up. My hands went to her hips and I waited for her kiss.

"Are you proposing to me?" I replied deviously.

"No because you will propose to me," she grinned and got up from the bed. Before that she placed a kiss on my lips and left me out of breath. I wipe away the lipstick stain from my lips with my thumb as I stare at her.

"Mmmhmm.. Now I realize why you left the door frozen shut," I chuckled but she hushed me.

"Now that you know about my powers, let me show you something," she smiled to me as she took a step back.

"Alright, so I'm getting a show from you? Better make it as a good one because I have some experience about things that involve ice and snow," I laughed.

She just smiled and turned her back at me. "Fly me to the mountain Jack," she ordered and I got up.

"What is my Queen up to?" I said with a sly smile when I scooped her up.

She wrapped her arms around my shoulders and stares into my eyes. "I'm showing you how I feel," she said securely. I just shrugged and then I walk to the window where I jumped out.

"How about Duke?" I asked while we were flying through air.

"Anna can handle him very well,"Elsa said mysteriously. In silence we flew the rest of the way and soon we landed on the mountain.

"And now what?" I asked as she began walking in the snow. Her dark green dress was waving in the pace of her movement, her hair was tied up in tight bun over her head.

"Now you listen to me, Frost," she said mysteriously.

Suddenly she began to sing and I was startled by the beauty of her voice. She's dancing and singing, creating swirls of snow and snowflakes.

I follow her in amazement, her powers are beautiful and pure. When she got to a gap with deep drop she stopped, her powers run over the cliff and a snowy bridge appeared and once her foot touched it, it froze into icy path across.

She ran over, still singing and once she was up she span around, her eyes were staring at me and she smiled. Her song was about how she should ignore other people and let herself be free, be happy the way she is.

When she noticed that I was still following her, watching her she stomped her foot to ground.

I gulped and I step back when something big was forming. These walls of ice began to rise all around me, floor by floor a building was forming. It was clear like crystal but made from ice.

"Whoa," I gasped when she created a chandelier from ice. Then she turns around and looks at me, her eyes were seductive and it made me blush. I saw her quickly unzipping her dress and how it fell to the floor.

"E-Elsa," I whispered with my face deep red. She just smirked and continued singing, I stared at her chest and her abdomen, then at her hips that moved from side to side while she was walking towards me.

My heart was racing while I stared at her, I could barely breath. Her figure was being covered by shining icy sparkles, a dress was forming over her body and finally she let her hand go into her hair. Her hair fell down to her shoulder in a loose French braid, her fingers ran over it and I saw snowflakes appearing to decorate her hair.

Now I was speechless.

"The cold never bothered me anyway," she ended her singing in a whisper when she had finally stepped in front of me. She was staring into my eyes when she sang the cold part, her hands were pressing against my chest. That was when I was able to take one deep breathe inside my lungs.

"It seems like my Captain got surprised," Elsa laughed and her hand touched my cheek.

I exhaled and I tried to look away but she made me look at her again. My face was still flushing and my body was quivering.

"Y-you... y-your talent is amazing," I managed to stutter out. She was highly amused by my reaction.

"I know, the castle sure looks amazing," she said while glanced over her shoulder at the palace she just created.

"You are amazing," I nearly spat out and I began coughing from the nervousness.

"Am I?" She replied curiously. I enjoyed the feeling of her fingers brushing through my hair, it made my breath hitch.

"Fucking hell," I whispered while I stared at her.

"What?" She laughed and smiled.

"I guess I'm having the hots right now," I smiled back and before she could say anything I pressed my hand behind her neck and pulled her into kiss. I felt her arms going over my neck while our lips moved against each other in perfect sync.

Then we parted, we were staring at each other. She was about to say something but I didn't let her, instead I pressed my finger on her lips that were soft.

"Elsa--," I whispered. This moment feels good, the sun is setting outside this creation of ice. Her dress is shimmering beautifully but not as stunningly as her eyes.

I smiled slyly while my finger slide on her lips, following their shape. Her body was pressing against mine and I put my other hand behind her back, just over her perfectly shaped bottom.

I lean closer to her, my breath is tickling her ear when I'm just staying still and trying to gather myself. Little while later I was ready, even though this might destroy us both.

"I love you," I spoke softly, my words made her gasp from surprise. I just felt the relieve I got from confessing to her and most of all to myself.
