POV Merida

I hate when we have to go home for weekends. Now especially since I couldn't ask from Captain Toothiana some extra exercises so I wouldn't have to go at home. Unfortunately all Captains just disappeared from the base.

I'm stuck with my family now. My over concerned mother and three little brothers. My dad is alright, he even bought me a bow when I was just a child but mom. Well she is still trying to push me to be princess like girl. I promised that I would do some compromises when we had that little problem at home. However she needs to realize that army is something I really want to do.

So I'm the girl who accidentally turned her mother into bear few years back. It was scary but yet fun though. Now mom is starting to forget our deal of listening to each other. Oh and my brothers were bears for some time too before they made up with grandpa who passed away last year. Yeah, one complicated family.

The one thing which I like is the fact that I can lay on bed for as long as I want on Saturday mornings at home. This is what I'm doing right now, sleeping late and ignoring the passing time. Sleeping was quite hard though last night. It's like I heard these weird noises from nearby forest.

"Morning dear!" My mother cheered when she barged into my room. I groan and turn to my other side, pulling blanket over my head.

"Ma! I want to sleep!" I murmured but she just ignored my complaining and sat next to me on bed. Slowly she removed the blanket and began to untangle my hair with her hands.

"I just wanted to see you. Ever since you joined to that lousy army I see you so little," she sighed.

"I know, I know but it's important to me and I haven't died yet!" I snapped when I turn to look at her. I saw her startling when I spoke about death and it made me remorseful.

"Sorry," I sighed.

"It's fine Merida. However I wished that you would've studied some noble manors or found a husband instead of going into arts of killing," she sighed.

"Dad was in the army," I whined.

"But he is a man. Speaking of which he is waiting you to join for breakfast," mother chuckled.

Her words made me jump off from bed. Mom left from my room while I was like a raging storm inside my room, getting ready by putting on some clothes and brushing my hair. Well at least I tried to brush my hair.

Thankfully mother was into having a family weekend this time. After the filling breakfast we played some games and spent time together as a family. My worst fear of mom organizing a ball to annoy me didn't happen which I'm forever grateful. Maybe she still somehow remembers what kind of bonding and growing we did together when she was a bear?

We had just had dinner when we sat near the fire place. Dad was doing maintenance at his axe while my brothers were roasting some marshmallows as dessert. Mom was doing some needleworks.

"Mom, dad. I think that I'll go out and practice my bow skills before it gets too dark," I told them.

"That's good idea pumpkin," dad hummed.

"Yes, a good girl knows how to bow in front of a gentleman. Just bend your knees and--," mom said while pushing a needle through the fabric.

"Mom--," I laughed, "- I meant my hunting bow."

Mom lifted her eyes and stares at me, "Oh. Well have fun?"

"Thank you. You can teach me that other stuff later," I grinned as I got up and ran at the door. I grabbed my bow and then I went out after telling them that I will be back late.

Walking through the forest was always mysterious at this time of day when the day was slowly turning into evening and then night. I'm just trying to search for some prey which I could bring home. Some bird maybe.

I climb on a rock in the forest and I look around. My style is to find a nice spot and stay there, waiting until my prey walks past me. Then I just grab my bow and aim an arrow at it and shoot. Clean and simple.

The silence of the forest is soothing and I just listen to the sounds of wildlife. It's getting quite dark so the last minutes to hunt are now passing. It starts to feel like I'm not getting anything tonight.

Just when I was about to leave I heard some cracking and other sounds coming from further away. Something was running towards me. Something big. Probably a wild borg.

I took my arrow and bow, aiming towards the sound.

Then it ran out from the bushes and my eyes widened when I saw that it was a person. A person dressed in black and carrying someone. My eyes follow them while I keep the string of my bow tensed.

"Wait? Is that... Captain Toothiana?" I whisper when I look who is being carried. Soon after my words something else ran out from the bushes and ran straight towards those two.

It was a big black horse with red glowing eyes. Something that I've never seen before. I see how it gallops towards them and then it reached them. It stood on it's back hooves and the front ones were hitting the air and slamming against the person who carried Captain Toothiana. They fell to ground and I then saw who the other one was. It was Captain Frost.

Captain Frost shot with his ice powers at the horselike creature but he was being hit with hooves to his chest. They were under attack and needed help.

I pull the arrow as strongly as I can and I aim it at the horses head. Then I let go.

I watch how the horse falls to ground, just before it was able to hurt Captain Frost again.

Quickly I threw my bow on my back and then I ran to them. My heart is racing. What was that thing which was chasing them?

"Captain Toothiana!" I yelled and ran to her.

Captain Frost stares at me in misbelieve while holding his stomach. He is panting.

"Wait.. Private... what the fuck are you doing here?" Captain Frost hissed but I ignored him. I stare at Toothiana who is slowly opening up her eyes.

"This is our land, the forest belongs to Dunbroch family. Sir," I replied to Captain Frost.

"Fine. Whatever," Captain Frost snapped and pushed himself back up. They both were dressed in all black clothes.

"She's hurt," I gulped as I saw Captain Toothiana's broken wing.

"Yeah. That's why I carried her. Take her safety, will you? Try not to get seen. I need to find other Guardians fast," Captain Frost groaned.

I nod my head and I lift Captain Toothiana up. She was conscious again and she smiled at me gratefully when she leaned against me.

"Thanks. Try not to get in trouble Tooth and we'll get you soon," Captain Frost smiled at Captain Toothiana which creeped me out. Then he ran off to somewhere.

We walk in silence for some time. I'll take her to my house and make sure she is safe.

"He never leaves anyone behind. Our mission turned out to be a trap... he should've left me," Captain Toothiana sighed.

"What happened?" I questioned.

"Classified, sorry," Captain Toothiana whispered.

"Oh. Something to do with that weird horse?" I ask in curiosity.

"Yeah. By the way. You never saw us, heard any of this and most certainly didn't see that horse. Understood Private? It's an order," Captain Toothiana said strictly.

"Understood," I told her.

Keeping secrets is annoying, especially now because it's so juicy thing to tell. For some reason the Guardians are working near my home. They were chased and hurt. Maybe those last night noises had something to do with it?

One thing is for sure. I can't tell to anyone, it's an order.

POV Elsa

Today was kind of weird. Colonel Moon was giving all Private's training since Captain's didn't return during the weekend. Captain Frost told me about some mission where he was going and he would be back for Monday but he didn't. Colonel Moon didn't explain anything, he just announced about the common training he would give.

It was proven that Hiro, youngest in our squad was a computer genius. Colonel Moon was looking really satisfied when he saw Hiro's computer skills. He found some security failures and so on while others were just trying out the basics in communication and such.

After a warm shower I went back to my barrack where everyone was already sleeping. It was midnight and I decided to slip under my blanket and try to get some sleep. However it's getting me worried, where the Captain's are. They were the Guardians after all and I heard people telling stories about their missions which never failed.

I turn to my left side and I pull the blanket over my shoulders. I'm sleeping with my t-shirt and panties because the barrack is shared between me and three guys.

Then my mind was drifting between thoughts until they became unclear. Falling asleep was quite easy for me nowadays, I just try to find my calmness from something and then I think of it. Now I focused on the soft pillow which was under my head until I couldn't see but only feel the warm soft pillow against my cheek. Right until I didn't feel even that anymore. Sounds became distant and disappeared.

A slight feeling of something gently touching my cheek and moving away made me reach my awareness again. I blink my eyes couple times, I had turned on my right side and my right hand was under my head. I took couple deep breathes in and then I startle. Some dark figure is sitting near me, close to the window and leaning against the wall.

It was someone who was shaking violently. Slowly I lifted my blanket from covering me and I went to floor. I examine him, how he is swaying himself and covering his face with his hands. Yeah it was a man, saying something. He was dressed entirely in black clothes.

"She's alive... she's alive."

He kept on repeating silently when I got closer to him. I recognized him then from his voice even though it was dark inside the barrack.

"Captain?" I whispered quietly as I kneel in front of him.

I heard how his breathe hitched. He lifted his hand away from his face and when my eyes got used to the dark I could see his cyan blue eyes looking back at me. He was terrified.

Somehow I'm feeling that he was touching my face with his hand just before.

"I didn't mean to wake you up Private," Captain Frost mumbled quietly and placed his hand over his knee. He leaned his head back against the wall and I heard a silent sniff.

"What happened? Where have you been?" I insisted as silently as I could. So far everyone else was still snoring.

"Failure. It was a failure.... I just needed to know that.. y-you," he said and began staring at me.

"I'm what?" I replied while staring at him blankly.

"Not dead. They know... they know... I won't go anywhere tonight," he muttered like a madman. I just sigh and go to sit next to him.

"I am alive Captain and it's not easy to change," I told him but he didn't reply. He just sat on the floor.

I was creeped out about the idea of him spending the night on floor. Staring at me while I sleep.

Just when I was about to burst into yelling to get him out from the barrack he sighed and leaned his head towards me. It made me stiffen as his head was resting against my shoulder. He was awfully exhausted from the looks of it.

"You should really go and get some rest," I told to him. It made him flinch and he shook his head while pinching on both sides of his nose near his eyes with his front finger and thumb.

"I will rest here, thank you," he hummed while making clear that he isn't going anywhere.

I glance at his dirty looking clothes and I bite my bottom lip.

My heart was thumping inside my chest when I grabbed the seam of his shirt and I began pulling it off from him. He groaned a bit but nobody woke up. Then I knew why he was reacting so severely, he was gritting his teeth together and embracing his body. The heavy breathing of his was reflecting his pain. He was badly bruised.

I gasped. "T-that fist fight of ours... not because of that I hope?" I whispered while holding my breath.

Captain opened up his eyes slowly and glanced at me. "Failed mission... why the hell you did that anyway?" He hissed from between his teeth.

"Oh shut up," I groaned. "You're injured so that's even better reason for you to stay next to me for the night," I snapped silently as I stood up. I grabbed onto his arm and I pulled him up. A wave of surprise went through him.

The amount of power which I got into pulling him, bigger person than I am, made me to fall to sit on my bed. I let go of his arm and I stared at his abdomen while he was breathing in and out. His arms were against his sides.

My hands were shaking when I began to open up his belt and then his zipper. He just kept quiet and I could feel him staring down at me. Then his pants dropped down and my cheeks flushed, I look up at him and suddenly his other hand caresses my cheek.

"You really want me in your bed?" He mumbled deeply. Afraid of regretting my decision later I still decided to nod my head.

He reached at the blanket which was behind of me. He pulled it a bit further away and then he kicked his clothes beneath my bed. However he took a single knife from his belt which he placed on floor in the pillow end.

Now I felt scared of what he might do to me. When he was finished placing the blade he smiled a bit and came close to me. Again his hand touched my cheek and then wiped my hairstrand away. Simultaneously he was also pressing me down on the bed. Right until when I fell on my back.

His face was now over mine. "Get your ass on bed miss," he chuckled and I felt his hand going under my legs. He lifted me on bed and then he changed my position so my head would be on pillow.

It felt taking like ages when he climbed to lay next to me. He was resting on his side while supporting himself to his other arm. His eyes wandered on my body and my body nearly screamed for his touch. He reached over me and pulled the blanket over us.

"Night," he said simply and then kissed my forehead. He snuggled his other arm beneath me and other one over me. The embrace he created felt odd but good.

I sigh and turn to my side. I can feel his legs against mine. I let my hand go behind his back which feels smooth and muscled.

Without thinking I rest my head against his bare chest. He winced a bit but against all odds he didn't push me away. Just before I fell asleep I look at him again, there's no sign of him falling to sleep anytime soon. He just looks at me while being awake.

When I woke up early in the morning it didn't take me long to realize that I was half laying on top of him. He had fallen asleep, he was taking nearly the whole bed and I felt afraid of waking him up. Slowly I dragged my leg back from over him when it hit on something. The moment when I realized what it was it made me blush.

He didn't wake up though, he was really tired. I sigh from relief and my mind tells me to run but instead I climb to sit over him. Still he doesn't wake up. I see his knife on the left side of the bed and I reach for it with my heart pounding. I use the knife to cut his boxers off and then my own panties.

All this time I just focused on doing these things to him. I didn't pay attention to my surroundings which was a mistake.

"Everyone get up! Breakfast time!" Hiccup cheered and my eyes flash open.

I cover Captain's mouth and I crash over him. It was enough to muffle his moan. Then I quickly pulled the gladly big enough blanket over both of us. I'm staring into his eyes which were narrowed. He was crumbling the bed sheets on his hands and breathing deeply while I hold my hand over his mouth.

I could hear how my squad members were getting ready and going at the door. This felt like it was taking ages. The feeling of excitement made me shiver and close my eyes for a moment.

"Elsa? Aren't you coming?" Hiro asked from somewhere near the door. Unfortunately I could sense their eyes nailing to my bed which was near the door and I hoped that they wouldn't notice anything odd.

"I'm sick," I said quietly and coughed. "I will come later," I told them.

I heard them leaving and I look back at the Captain. Slowly I lift my hand away from his mouth.

"S-so now you're the one doing things by force?" He hummed and began to sit after placing his arms behind my back. I nod my head slowly and he began kissing me after flashing a smile.

Little later we were laying on bed under my blanket. We stared at each other and I saw him biting his bottom lip before smirking. I hold my breath while looking at him. Have you ever been under a blanket when first sunrays hit the room and make it magical? This is how I felt when I imagined him in the faint light which came through the fabric. It's like time had paused.

"Captain. Why would you be worried for me?" I whispered when I reached to touch his hair.

"You're my trainee and you sleep closest to barrack door. You.. would've been first to die if someone barged in here," he replied emotionlessly. "You trainees are valuable for government."

"Why would someone barge in here?" I raised my eyebrow.

"That's not your concerns," he said strictly. All the softness of him which I witnessed earlier disappeared from him. Now he was back to his cold self.

I watch as he gets up and dresses his clothes on which he pulled from under the bed. "Training field one hour later," he ordered before leaving.

I roll my eyes after him and I get up. I headed to showers and went for a quick snack after so I could manage his training.

Hiccup, Hiro and Flynn were already at the training field when I got there. I join next to them and before I could say anything Captain Frost was walking in. Now he was wearing his normal army green suit.

Captain Frost whistled loudly. "Listen up!" He roared and then told us to line up.

He stands in front of us with his hands behind his back. He is so serious that it makes me shiver.

"So I heard one of you showed their special talent yesterday?" Captain Frost shouted and looks at Hiro. Then he began grinning.

"Private Hamada?" Captain Frost said while going over to him.

"S-sir yes sir. C-colonel Moon was happy for my skills with computers," Hiro gulped.

"Awesome!" Captain Frost cheered and walked away.

"Did he get laid or something when he was gone?" Flynn mumbled to Hiccup and they chuckled. Their words made me flush. I'm sure that Captain heard it too but he ignored it.

"So. As you now know my powers involve wind and snow. Hamada is computer expert beyond realization. This military training base however is far from regular. I know for a fact that each one of you has some special power or talent, you may know or may not know yourselves what kind of talent it is. However when you applied for army you were put through tests that showed that you're all special. Now we can only wait how it turns out with you, Private Haddock, Fitzherbert and... Arendelle," Captain spoke and lastly glanced at me.

I can't let him know. My powers are too similar to his and it would be one more reason for him to hate me, accuse me of competing with him.

Captain began whistling when he went for his bag. He started to go through the bag and then he pulled something out. We all glanced at each other, then we saw that he was carrying a laptop.

"Private Hamada?" He hummed and had some playful spark in his eyes.

"Yes sir?" Hiro gulped.

"Break into the base's system. I want you to use these loudspeakers," Captain said and pointed towards the loudspeakers which were scattered all around the base.

"And?" Hiro whispered.

"And play a message for me," Captain grinned mischievously.

Hiro nodded his head and sat on the ground. He was working wildly with his laptop and few moments later he was ready.

"Now what?" Hiro asked from Captain. My eyes widened when Captain Frost chuckled and kneeled down in front of Hiro. He was giving him usb-stick.

Hiro glanced at Captain nervously and added the stick to the laptop. I managed to see that there was one lonely audio file.

The loudspeakers cracked with electricity when they began working after long time apparently. I look around and see people from other squad paying attention to the loudspeakers. I look back at Captain who seems eager for the message to play.

'Test. 1,2,3. Captain Bunnymund uses pink shower cap when he takes showers with his purple duck and boomerang. HAHAHAHA! Wannabe my boyfriend? Kisses and hugs, Jack.'

My face went pale and my expression was blank when I look at the Captain. He is clearly amused by the message which he had recorded. He began laughing loudly.

A loud roar came from distance and I saw Hiro hiding the laptop behind his back. Then we saw a storm forming in the middle of base. It was heading straight towards the training field, a cursing storm cloud.

"FROST I WILL KILL YOU!"

The voice was Captain Bunnymunds. Captain Frost was whistling again, his hands were inside his pockets and he took a quick glance at us. "At ease," he grinned and then he shot himself into air just when fierce Bunnymund arrived.

"Where is he?" Captain Bunnymund hissed. Slowly we pointed towards the sky where Captain Frost was floating.

"Come down coward!" Captain Bunnymund groaned.

"So you can beat me up? No chance," Captain Frost laughed.

Captain Bunnymund stared at Frost. I could see him reaching for his boomerang which he then threw into air. Captain Frost dodged it.

"Lousy shot!" Captain Frost laughed.

"You forgot that it returns," Captain Bunnymund grinned and I saw how Captain Frost's eyes widened. He didn't have time to react when the boomerang hit into his back and made him crash down.

I gasped when Captain Bunnymund walked over to Captain Frost who was still pushing himself back up. He grabbed onto his shirt and punched him which made him fall to ground again.

"Fucking kangaroo," Captain Frost hissed and kicked Captain Bunnymund. Then he got up and started beating Captain Bunnymund angrily. His eyes were full of anger.

However muscular Captain Bunnymund didn't seem to suffer from Captain Frost's aims.

"Which one will win?" Hiro mumbled in shock.

"If Captain uses his ice power.. then Captain Bunnymund is frozen but it seems like Captain is in for fist fight," Flynn hummed and crossed his arms.

Captain Bunnymund managed to get one big hit on Captain Frost who fell to ground. Captain Frost is just breathing on the ground, laying there. I think of his previous injuries which might be slowing him down.

"Quitting already mate?" Captain Bunnymund laughed while walking over to Captain Frost who didn't reply.

I saw how Captain Bunnymund was about to hit Captain Frost again even though he was clearly down.

"Elsa!" Hiro shouted after me when I ran between Captain Frost and Bunnymund.

"You can't," I screamed when I was running and just when I got in the middle of them I felt severe pain on my face. Captain Bunnymunds fist hit straight into my face and made me drop down, right over Captain Frost.

However that wasn't all, I could see how Captain Bunnymund was about to kick. He was doing a combo move with first hitting on fist and then finishing by kick.

I close my eyes, preparing for an impact which will hurt like hell. However I felt something going over me and then I heard a loud groan and felt pressure.

"I-idiot," I heard Captain Frost whispering and I realized that he had protected my body with his.

"Stop! " Rest of our squad yelled and they came between Captain Bunnymund and us.

"Oh heck. I'm sorry Private...uh," Captain Bunnymund whispered and stared at me in shock. Captain Frost was still numbly resting over me.

"Her name is Elsa Arendelle. I think that you two are done fighting now," Hiccup said strictly and crossed his arms.

"Yeah. I guess so," Captain Bunnymund sighed. "Oi, mate. Toothiana's squad has a healer. Private Corona, I think? See her," Captain Bunnymund said before leaving.

Punzie is a healer? What's that supposed to mean?

"Go and get Punzie?" I pleaded from Flynn who nodded his head. He ran for Punzie as I broke free from under Captain Frost. He was unconscious now.

Soon Punzie came and she was shocked to see the signs of battle. I ask the guys to leave us.

"Elsa? How did this happen? And.. doesn't he deserve it," Punzie mumbled and glanced at Captain Frost.

"I think that... he is complicated person. Just help him? So you use some ointments?" I questioned.

Punzie shook her head. Then she placed some of her golden long hair over Captain Frost's body. Her actions surprised me.

Then she started singing.

"Flower, gleam and glow

Let your power shine

Make the clock reverse

Bring back what once was mine

Heal what has been hurt

Change the fates' design

Save what has been lost

Bring back what once was mine

What once was mine."

Her hair was glowing all of a sudden and after her singing Captain Frost groaned and sat down. He looks both of us and seems to be in shock.

"What the hell are you ladies doing?" Captain Frost growled angrily.

"Helping you out Captain," I snapped at him and I got up. I start walking away with Punzie who is telling me how she healed Captain Toothiana today with her healing powers that she got when she was a baby.

Suddenly a slight wind was blowing from behind us and it's like it brought me a message.

'Thank you'.

It's like the wind brought those words for me, said by Captain since it was his voice.

I look over my shoulder quickly and I saw how Captain was walking to other direction with his back turned towards us. Then he glanced over his shoulder and just when I turned my head away in panic I could swear that I saw a faint smile from him.

"Is something wrong?" Punzie asked.

"Nothing," I smiled at her quickly.

"You sure? I mean your Captain is a real jerk," she sighed.

"Yeah... a jerk," I whisper and think of him.
