Beneath this mask of smiles, I sway,

Hiding the sorrow that won't fade away.

In a world so blind to my silent despair,

I hide the pain, as if it's not there.

Behind the laughter, the mask I wear,

Lies a heart heavy with burdens to bear.

I paint on joy to blend with the crowd,

While inside, my tears scream unbowed.

But one day, I'll shed this disguise,

Let my true feelings finally rise.

Until then, this mask I'll compile,

Hiding my sadness with a practiced smile.
