As we arrived at the Idaho prison. I started to get nervous. I've never been transported before. As the automobile came to a stop, I watched cautiously as the warden and the officers were talking. I was getting anxious to see Maverick again after all these years, but I was really scared. I overheard one of the guards the night before my transportation. They said that my brother has become a new officer although I never quite got which prison he was assigned.
I was terrified that he was In this one. Oh god, I hope not. That would suck, my brother, is the only one who knows the truth about the murder. I didn't want him to tell anyone, so he promised he wouldn't. But now I'm having second thoughts on whether or not he will tell them. I told him I didn't mind being sentenced to prison, but he was so persistent. In case your wondering, I was actually framed for my mother's murder. I mean yeah I was the one who stabbed her and killed my unborn brother, but Charles was the one who shot mom in the head.
I took the blame because I didn't want my brother to go to prison and not get a happy life because of a felony that would determine whether he lived or died. My brother is six years older than me and he was just starting school when the murder happened. I didn't want a felony to ruin his life. So, I ruined mine instead. I know that sounds bad and all, but he's my brother and technically my only other guardian. So if I had let him go to prison then I would be in an orphanage with an old lady looking after me. On old lady obsessed with kids and cats. I HATE CATS!
No offense to anyone who has a cat, but we had a cat when I was little and the thing would always chase me and scratch me and bite me. I'm happy that thing ran away. The only time it was nice to me was when I was nearly beaten to death by my mother. The cat's name was Mr.Jello or just Jello. I didn't name him by the way, my brother did when he was six.
I was pulled back into reality when the door opened. "Come on you psycho bitch." The officers that were beside me got out after the warden yanked me out.
I was SO glad to leave that stupid prison. Let's hope the punishments here are actually punishments. The punishments in Oregon were so lame. I've been hung about 5 times and I'm still here. Wait.......how? "Here, good luck with this one. She's a real bitch." The warden handed me over to the other warden.
This warden looked pretty freaked out about me being here. I smirked, "Something wrong......warden?" He glared at me, but I could see in his eyes he was terrified. Not surprising, even at a young age I was very scary. That's why I had no friends. Being alone almost all your life sucks.
Maverick was my only friend. My brother was always my brother. Even now he tries to get me out, but I always refuse.
I watched the ground as they pulled the chains on my wrist. I looked up when the warden of this prison started yelling. When I got to the courtyard I smiled. I couldn't believe what I was seeing.
Maverick.
He smiled back, but as soon as he did I frowned.
My brother was behind him, he was staring right into my soul. Maverick looked over his shoulder and stood there frozen as well.
Why here of all places?
