Until life would be more than stock knowledge can answer...

(Iris POV)

"Ohhhhh god!!!"

"I'm feeling so pressured for the debate tomorrow!" I said, skimming through my textbooks.

"Chill, that's all you've been thinking about ever since Onizuka-sensei announced it to your class. I know you can do it. You're like, the Class Nerd. You even beat the valedictorian of the 3rd years in a competition last time." My sister, Lorelei said.

"Everyone calls me a nerd, when everything's just easy if you learn to love it." I said.

"Yeah yeah."

Then, Lorelei flashed on the T.V.

"Woah! Check it out! It's SoLaMi Smile!" She exclaimed.

"Huh, those PriPara idols." I said.

"Don't you think it's fun? I'd be so jealous if you got a PriTicket, you know." Lorelei kidded.

"Hah. Like I would ever go to that place. I have studies to focus on." I said.

"Don't you ever think of something else to do other than drown yourself in reading all those thick books? Like a hobby. You know, sometimes I think you gotta live normally too. You're turning into a weirdo. Plus, you have a REALLY GOOD VOICE." She said.

Yes, people also say I have a REALLY GOOD voice. (Gotta admit that)

Oh wait. I forgot to introduce myself. I should probably do so before my sister blabs any further.

My name is Iris Hitomi. I'm a 2nd year Middle Schooler at Paprika Private Academy. I'm part of the Debates Club and the School Paper. For a girl like me, I've got people who look up to me because I'm smart, but I've only got a few friends. No matter how hard I try to make friends, most just say that they can't match my intelligence so they can't be my friend and all that drama.

But I just want a lot of friends.

"Maybe, I could try making more friends by taking up a new hobby, but they might just think that I'm too much of a nerd." I said.

"Hm, maybe you'll figure something out." My sister said to motivate me.

We got out of my room, and we heard my mom talking to someone on the phone.

"Oh good! When are you coming?"

"Okay. I'm sure Lorelei and Iris will be glad to see you again!"

"Who was that, Mom?" Lorelei asked.

"Oh, it was your cousin from Okinawa. She's planning to move here to Tokyo, near our place." She explained.

"Really? Erika's moving to our neighborhood?" I asked excitedly.

"Mm hm!" Mom gave a close-eyed smile.

Erika Noriko's my favorite cousin. She's an idol at PriPara. Maybe she'll be a way to get to PriPara myself.

"Gotta get ready and listen to PriPara songs on Lorelei's phone." I thought.

Once I successfully stole my sister's phone, I got to my room and started through her playlist.

I came with the first song on the list.

"'Your 100% Life' by Cosmo Hojo?"

I started listening to the song.

"Sounds cool." I said to myself.

Then, I heard a knock on my door.

"How's my eldest cousin?"

"Erika! So glad you moved here! I wanted to talk about things." I said.

"What things? You can tell me about them." She said as she sat on my bed.

"I want to get out of my comfort zone. And I wanted to talk to you because I knew I'd find the answer." I said.

"It's like another way of saying..." Erika paused.

"I want to join you in PriPara life, I mean, show me!" My eyes sparkled in excitement.

"Finally! You decided to be a more fun person. Of course! But I'll only take you there. I'd just leave you to explore on your own." She said.

"Deal! If I get a PriTicket I'll tell you." I said.

But then...

"What's that on your head?" Erika asked.

I touched my head to pick up an object.

"A PriTicket! Awesome!" I exclaimed.

It was a blue PriTicket with my picture and name in it.

"Let's go and register your PriTicket then!" Erika said.

"Meganee-san!"

"Ah Erika, come to get to PriPara again?" A woman with long brown hair and red glasses asked.

"Yes. And I'd like to register my cousin's PriTicket, please." She said.

"Ah, I see." She said and came to me.

"Let me have this for a while." She took my PriTicket and smiled.

"Of course." I bowed.

She started scanning me with the computer.

"You got a pop-type PriTicket, and you need a Pop brand that suits you. And I think Candy Alamode suits you best." She said.

"And I've found the perfect daily coord for you. You'll wear this coord at your every visit to PriPara." She explained.

"The Natural Frog Coord"









My clothes changed in an instant, and as I finished changing I said,

"PriPara Change, Complete!"

Erika changed into her daily coord as well, and as we were in the PriPara streets, I was amazed.

"This is really Paradise!" I exclaimed.

"Well, they don't call this 'Prism Paradise' for nothing." Erika smiled.

"I've led you to the gate, but you'll have to take it from here..." She said.

"Okay." I nodded.

I started on walking through, until I saw something that caught my eye.

"Ow!"

"Oh my! What happened little fella?" I asked. It was a mint green hamster with a light blue dress and a pink bow on near its right ear and tiny wings.

"I was looking for idols to recruit, because I just started out to try training idols. After I graduated, this is where I ended up, because I've always dreamed of managing people. I'm Pastelle, nice to meet you." She reached out her hand for me to shake.

"And I'm Iris. Aren't you adorable?" I patted her head.

"Thanks!" She gave a close-eyed smile.

"Well, I just started out too, so maybe help me show me the basics of being a PriPara Idol?" I asked.

"Sure!" Pastelle winked. "Leave it to me!"

(Meanwhile...)

"OMG, I love it!"

"Purple, maroon, mixed together with glitters on them. Best nails ever!" A girl said.

"Just as sparkly as how you shine on stage." The girl's purple and black flying-cat friend winked.

"Shut up. I'm not that charismatic. I'm sure someone here is really deserving of your compliments." She said.

"Just trust yourself." The mascot said.

(Iris POV)

"Wow, I didn't know PriPara was this... Extensive." I said.

"And about my reason for following you around for..." Pastelle paused.

"Oh, yeah. Sure! I'd love someone to handle me while I'm here. I'll come visit everyday after school anyway." I winked.

"Yay! Thank you Iris-sa--"

"-chan. I'm your friend now. Don't add respectful honorifics." I said.

"Okay! You should start with your first live show then!" She said.

"Sure." I said.

"Oh, before I forget, here's a PriPass. It's your phone device in PriPara." Pastelle handed me a mint green PriPass.

I didn't need to change coords on my First Live, so I proceeded to the stage.

"Konnichiwa. I'm Iris. And please enjoy my performance!" I bowed.

I flashed a peace sign and stuck out my tongue.

I sang "Your 100% Life"

I strut down the runway-like path and made a 'shh' with my lips as a pose.

"Making Drama, Switch On!"

In my Making Drama, I was on Mars, with a laser gun, and I shot all the aliens around. I soon made it to the biggest crater and planted a pink flag with 'Iris Hitomi' written on green letters.

"I start a new landmark in my adventure! Divergent Invasion!"

Yama koto ni ōkunai? Nandena no? Fuan bakuhatsu!
Kowa sugite iya ni naru... demo... demo ne!

"Cyalume Change!"

My clothes changed into the Candy Alamode Cyalume Coord as the lights grew dim.

Meanwhile, someone spoke to herself after the show.

"She has the potential..."

"But I know her true colors will shine on another day. I'll have to dive into her persona."
