Love's Liberty: Best Wishes!
Early 12 AM, I chatted the rest of UltraMIC, because today was a special day.
(Conversation)
Iris: GOOD MORNING!!!
Kazue: So early... Come on!
Maiko: You did this to me on my birthday though... @Kazue
Kazue: Oh yeah... Hehehe 😶
Iris: *insert siren sounds* KAZUMAI IS HEATING UP EARLY IN THE MORNING! 🚨
Kazue: Shut up, darling.
Iris: Kaz goes Sassy mode when he's about to get pissed, huh?
Maiko: New info.
Iris: Excited for the wedding?
Kazue: Excited and nervous.
But mostly excited.
Come on! I can imagine the hashtag.
Maiko: Which is?
Kazue: #TheStarStuddedWedding
Voila! Perfect! 👌
Iris: Agree with ya, totally, @Kazue Koichi 👍
Kazue: Twins Goals is reallll Hahaha
Maiko: You can say that again.
Kazue: Btw, you do remember Aneki cancelled the beach wedding idea, right?
Maiko: I forgot about that omg
Kazue: She changed her mind a couple weeks ago. She said it'd be better to go for the classic church wedding. Plus it is pretty rainy these days.
Maiko: Oh.
Iris: At least I can see better decorations in my head now.
Kazue: You have a point.
Maiko: Hey, twinsies, get to bed now, have some beauty sleep for later.
Iris: Yes Mother... HAHA
Kazue: As you say, My Goddess...
Iris: Wait, WUUUTTTT
Kazue: I said nothing, @Maiko Megami
Maiko: Just go to bed.
Iris: Ouch. Turn off much.
Kazue: No way.
Good night guysss
Maiko: Goodnight
Iris: Oyasumiiii
(Conversation End)
"And now that I have a chance to, I'll just go text her about the wedding." I said to myself as I started texting someone.
(Flash!)
I looked back on how Sadako turned from Kazue's best friend to an absolute madman who fell for his alter ego.
"My mission doesn't end here! I won't stop until I get what I want!"
(Flashback End)
"I'll make sure that today goes as planned."
(Later, 8:25 A.M.)
*Ding Dong*!
Maiko and I rang the doorbell to Kazue's house.
"Come in!" Came Celine's familiar welcoming tone.
"Hi Celine! Oh, uh, where's your brother?" Maiko asked.
"He's still asleep for some reason. He knows it's Onee-chan's wedding day but he doesn't seem to hear me." She crossed her arms.
"Oh. Then maybe I can handle that." I smirked.
Maiko and I went upstairs and came to the purple door of his room.
I cleared my throat.
"YO YOU SASS QUEEN YA BETTER WAKE UP CUZ IT'S YOUR SISTER'S WEDDING DAY AND YOU'RE STILL THE BEST MAN NOT THE MAID OF HONOR, SO QUIT DREAMING AND FACE REALITY!"
(Meanwhile, inside the room)
"There goes Iris and her loud voice. And yeah, I do know I'm the best man. Ugh, early and the morning and it's kicking up my nerves." Kazue walked to his door.
"HEY! I'M NOT EVEN ASPIRING TO BE THE MAID OF HONOR, NOT IN A MILLION YEARS! I'M STILL A GUY, YOU KNOW!" Kazue screamed back.
Maiko was laughing so hard. "'You're not the maid of honor so stop dreaming and face reality!' Oh man, that really made my day, Iris. You sure know how to wake up that sassy friend of ours." She continued on with her chuckles.
"What? He's girly. And who knows, maybe he was dreaming he was be the maid of honor last nighth. Hah, kidding." I laughed too.
"Ehe EHEM."
We turned to see Kazue, arms crossed.
"Oh good, you're finally up." I said.
"As I said, even though I act girly in PriPara, I never hoped of getting female positions in Aneki's wedding. Come on, you think I'm some drag queen now?" Kazue said.
"Sorry, sorry. I was just teasing, geez." I said.
"Nah, it's fine. I take compliments and insults as long it's people I'm close with. Like you guys." He said.
"Well, you're close with a lot of people." Maiko said. "More than me, to be honest."
"Huh..." Kazue said.
"ANYWAY."
"Let's get ready here. Is the bride awake? I've got my dress neatly folded in my backpack over here." I said.
"I've got mine, too." Maiko held up a hanger revealing a gold v-neck cocktail dress.
"And now to see the bride." I knocked on the black door.
(Fun Fact, the Koichi Siblings have designated door colors for their room. Black for Agnes, Purple for Kazue, and Green for Celine.)
"Agnes-san?"
"Oh, come in, Iris."
We came in.
"Iris, Maiko. And Aria-chan, you're finally awake." Agnes said.
"Yeah. He still basically needs an alarm clock." I said, glaring at Kazue.
"Hmph, whatever." He crossed his arms.
Agnes laughed. "I know why he practically was still asleep. It was about another Sadako incident. He's been mulling it over, I noticed days before that he's been wearing more black. My brother always believed that black was always such a gloomy color, so I figured out that he was sulking for the best friend who lost his sanity from getting rejected by his best friend in disguise." She whispered to Maiko and me.
"I guess he'll cheer up though. He's got the two of you as best friends. I know you two can give a shoulder to lean on when he needs it. I love my brother so much, so I know I can trust you two to be the best friends he can have." Agnes laid her hand on our shoulders; One on mine and one on Maiko's.
"You can count on us, Agnes-san." Maiko and I said together with a wink.
"What is taking you guys so long? The bride has to get ready, the ringing of the bells can't be kept waiting, you know?" Kazue swished a finger.
"Yes, your royal 'Sass Queen'." Agnes laughed.
"Shhhhhhush! Coming from you, it's pretty much awkward." Kazue turned to hide his blushing face, his arms crossed.
"Just teasing, Aria-chan, geez." Agnes said.
"Better if you just stick with the original nickname." He said.
"I see you've already taken a bath." Maiko said.
"Yeah. Now we can all get fixed up so we could look decent for today." He said, drying his hair with a towel. He already seemed prepared to put on his tuxedo, since he already had white long sleeves on so he could put on his tuxedo over later.
"We're still waiting for Shaira. She is still part of the entourage." Agnes said.
"Right." I said.
"Oh, speak of the devil." Maiko pointed to someone walking over to Agnes's room.
"Hi, Shaira. And seriously. You didn't have to wear your turtleneck sweatshirt and leotards PLUS your wedge sneakers. Another best thing about you is definitely your fashion sense." Kazue said.
"You basically fall for girls with true-blue fashion statements." I laughed.
"What, people dress to impress. That's what I first see in people, next to attitude." He said.
"I love my wedge sneakers. Gotta have some clothes to go perfectly with them." Shaira winked.
"Now, now, girls."
"Let's apply the word 'teamwork' and put on each other's makeup, what'dya say, Aria-chan, my darling apprentice?" Agnes smirked.
"Sure, sure, fine." He gave in, rolling his eyes.
(About 3 hours later...)
"There. Done."
Kazue finished on my makeup.
"Ohmygod, Kazue. I look so pretty! Nice work." I winked as I looked in the mirror.
"Of course, Iris. What are twins for? And consider this a favor done." Kazue gave a peace sign.
"WELL."
"I have to look good too, you know? Hand me the hairspray and I'll be good." He said.
"Think fast." I threw it at him, which he easily caught.
"Arigato, Imouto-chan." He gave a wink.
"No problem. But we're the same age, I'm not your little sister." I objected.
"I'm a week older than you." He said.
"Oh wow, really? When are your birthdays, Kazue, Iris?" Maiko asked.
"My birthday's on September 12th." Kazue said.
"Which means my birthday's on September 19th." I said.
"Ohhh." Shaira and Maiko said together.
"You two should celebrate it together!" Agnes said.
"Probably. But in PriPara, I should celebrate on the 15th to create a birth date for Charlotte." Kazue said while spraying on his hair.
"Good thinking." I said.
"I'll get my suit real quick." He said as he darted upstairs to his room.
In a matter of seconds, Kazue was back, and he went downstairs slowly.
"You girls should get changed too. Use the guests' bathroom over there. Change in the shower one by one, besides, you're all girls." Kazue said.
(*Ring, *Ring)
"Oh, I'll let Shaira and Maiko go first. I have to take this call real quick." I said.
"Okay." Agnes said.
I went outside to take the call.
(Conversation)
Iris: Hello? Where are you? The wedding's in another hour?
???: Relax, darling. Didn't we talk about me making a 'Scandalicious Grand Entrance' at the wedding? I'll assure you, everyone's jaws will drop.
Iris: That's.... Good. I hope you've got the dress I had made for you.
???: Definitely. And I know how to elegantly wear that dress to its purpose. That dress is fit for a Queen like me.
Iris: Be sure to stay like that for the whole wedding. I have ought to introduce you to the original.
???: Right.
(Conversation End)
"Hey, I'm back." I called out to them.
"Good, who was that that made the call so important, anyway?" Kazue asked.
"Oh, uh, it's nothing. The call was no big deal anyway." I said.
"Huh...." Kazue said.
"Wow, out of all people, Iris keeps secrets from ME." He thought.
"Nice suit. Suits you, Kaz." I gave a closed-eyed smile.
His suit was a Royal Blue Tuxedo and pants, with a matching black bowtie. (It looked like this)
"Royal Blue isn't one of my favorite colors for nothing." He said.
I saw that Shaira and Maiko were done. Shaira's dress was a gold boat-neck cocktail dress that shone in the light.
"O.M.G. Shaira!!! When I see your dress's design, I imagine..." Kazue put his hands like he was measuring an angle for a camera. "Like, it's very suited for a beach photoshoot, only, you're using it in a church wedding." He said.
"Well, I recently knew that Agnes-san changed plans from a beach wedding to a church wedding. At least the dress won't go unused." Shaira said.
"True enough. Iris, go change, quick! I wanna see how the school nerd looks like in a bridesmaid dress!" Maiko said.
"From the way you said it, it's like I don't wear dresses at all..." I sweat-dropped. "I'm only boyish, but I wear dresses too."
"You got that right." Kazue said.
I went to the bathroom to change.
Soon after, I came out wearing my royal blue lace cocktail dress.
"Damn..."
My now messy-bunned hair complimented my dress.
"Iris... I've never seen you this pretty." Kazue said.
"Does that mean you're gonna lose feelings for Maiko-onee-cha---mrrfmmm!" Kazue quickly covered Celine's mouth before she could finish.
"I'm still loyal, Celine. Remember that. And don't I tell you to not mention Maiko's name in front of Aneki?" He whispered to his sister.
"Fine." Celine said.
"But seriously. You look stunning. You know what I tell girls that pass my standards?" He asked.
"Go. Pass it on, Kazue." Agnes winked.
"Huh?" I wondered. "Pass what?"
He put his hands like was holding something over his head, and transferred the gesture to my head, like passing on a crown in a beauty pageant.
"The crown is yours, my twin sister." He laughed and gave a wink.
"Thank you, my brother." I laughed too.
"Now, let's help the bride get ready with her DRESS!" Maiko said.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Hey.... guys.... help me with the..."
"Box! On it!" I said, helping Kazue carry the other side of the box.
"Arigato, Iris." He said.
"And... there!"
We finally laid the box on the bed.
"Carefully open it, guys. The lace." Shaira said.
And we did so.
"Woah..."
The dress was exactly like the one Kazue sent on the group chat. An off-shoulder lace wedding dress.
"Alright, time to get changed, Aneki. Lucas is dying to see you in white." Kazue said.
"Okay, okay. Stay here with Maiko while Shaira and Iris help me put on my dress." Agnes said.
"Okay, Agnes-san." Maiko said.
Shaira and I went upstairs to Agnes's room.
(Meanwhile...)
Awkward silence crept in...
"Hi, Maiko." Kazue began.
"Hi, Kaz." Maiko sad too.
"Uh, n-nice weather we're having... Ehehe..." Kazue started blushing.
"Your face is flushing." Maiko said.
"W-wait, ohmygod really? Uhh, must be because I'm pretty n-nervous and excited about the w-w-wedding and all that. WHOO! It's getting hot in here too. Must be the heat too." Kazue said.
He cleared his throat immediately.
"My own heat. Cuz I'm so hot." He fanned a hand to himself.
"What the heck are you saying?" Maiko laughed.
Then, Agnes came out in her wedding dress.
"Wedding bells are ringing indeed." Maiko said.
*Beep beep!*
"Oh, the bridal car's here. Maybe Kazue can sit up front and the three of us stay at the very back. The bride should have the back seat to herself, considering the dress." Shaira said.
"Oh, wait, before we go..." Kazue reached in his pocket and brought out his phone.
"That's exactly what I had in mind." Agnes said.
He held up the phone for all of us to fit in.
"GUYS GUYS LET'S ALL TAKE A SELFIE QUICK!" Kazue said excitedly.
"Ready in 3, 2, 1!"
*Snap!*
That was by far the best moment before the wedding...
(A meter away from the church)
"Okay, we'll just stop here. Iris, Maiko, Shaira and I'll just pretend that we commuted on our way and we had to walk. Wouldn't wanna ruin your grand entrance." Kazue said.
Agnes nodded.
And so we walked our way.
"Lucas!"
"Oh, it's Kazue and the others. You made it." Lucas said. "Where's Agnes?"
"Oh she'll be here." Shaira winked.
"Alright, let's start the ceremony." The organizer said.
First to enter is Agnes's mother.
Then a few of Lucas's and Agnes's close friends (The Groomsmen).
And Kazue walks in his royal blue tuxedo as the best man.
Lucas comes in next, and stands by the altar to wait for his bride.
And then we, the bridesmaids come in. (Me, Maiko and Shaira).
But one thing that made the people wonder was...
"Why isn't there a maid of honor?"
"Who is the maid of honor, anyway?"
The people were murmuring.
"There is no Maid of Honor, and Aneki wanted it that way." Kazue thought.
Then came Celine and Lorelei, showering the aisle with flowers as they fulfilled their roles as flower girls.
The bridal car arrived, and the doors of the church were shut.
And once they opened...
There revealed the woman of the hour.
Agnes walked down the aisle with her hair braided down the side (like Elsa) and she had a bouquet of roses in hand.
She was as stunning as ever.
Soon, she reached the altar.
"Let us begin this celebration of matrimony bound by the love of Agnes and Lucas. Before we begin, if there are anyone objecting this wedding---"
"HOLD IT! STOP THIS INSTANT!"
Everyone gasped as Kazue looked behind for the person.
"Sadako! What in the world are you doing here?!" Kazue said.
"Just to make things clear. ONE thing that is certainly... odd among any other wedding, I must say." Sadako said.
"Where is your maid of honor?"
"I didn't need a Maid of Honor to complete this wedding." Agnes said.
"Really? That's sad. The Koichi family doesn't seem... complete? And who would actually fit the role of the Maid of Honor than Charlotte? Where is that beautiful sister of yours?"
Kazue's eyes widened.
"This can be the end of him! It's like he's being forced to reveal his alter ego!" Maiko thought.
"What? You've spoken no words, Kazue? Do you happen to have any idea of where she might be?" Sadako looked at him straight.
Kazue clenched his fists, then spoke.
"You see, Charlotte is..."
"I'm right here."
Maiko and Agnes gasped.
Kazue's face was furious.
While I was smiling.
"She's arrived." I thought to myself.
"Sorry I'm so horribly late. That was quite rude of me. Did someone just come looking for me?"
A girl with purple hair and eyes (just like Charlotte) came in a sexy, royal blue long gown.
She strutted down the aisle to introduce herself.
"Just so you all know, I am in fact, THE Charlotte Koichi this guy's looking for. I kind of showed up late, sorry about that." She said.
"I'll definitely deal with HER later. How dare she claims she's ME?" Kazue thought.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Do you, Agnes, take Lucas to be your husband, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, until death?"
"I do." Agnes gave a closed-eyed smile to Lucas.
"Do you, Lucas, take Agnes to be your wife, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, until death?"
"I do." He kissed Agnes's hand.
"By the power invested in me, I now pronounce you, husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride." The priest said.
Lucas kissed Agnes softly on the lips, happy to finally get married to the girl he loved most.
(Afterward)
"Follow up to the reception everyone!" Agnes called to the guests.
"Where is she..."
"Aha!"
"You are not getting away from me!"
Kazue grabbed the girl who walked in by the arm.
"HOW DARE YOU STEAL MY ALTER EGO, MY IDENTITY, YOU COPYCAT!"
Kazue raised a hand to slap her, but then...
It didn't hit.
Because she grabbed his hand before he could do so.

Iris: Kazue...
Kazue: What?! Explain yourself, Iris!
Iris: She's only here to protect you!
