As usual, Louisa and Friends (as we would fondly call them) would tick us off almost every single day...

I was just hoping that one day, Louisa could have a change of heart. What is the reason behind her harsh attitude?

But I don't think any of us could answer that question at present.

"Iris! Kazue-san!"

"Hey, Erika. What's up?" I asked.

"I'm holding a Costume Ball at PriPara next week. Here. I even made invitations. Kazue-san, I hope you can give this to Charlotte, I'd like to get to know her." Erika smiled.

"Uh, y-yeah, sure." Kazue said.

I winked at him. "You got yourself something to get you busy, darling." I nudged him as I whispered.

"Shut up, Iris!" Kazue stopped me.

"Any problem, guys?" Erika wondered.

"Oh, nothing, nothing at all, Erika! I'd be happy to give this to her, though. I'm sure she'd love to be there!" Kazue patted her head. "Anything for Iris's cousin!"

"Kazue-san, please don't. It's embarrasing." Erika sweat-dropped.

"Oh, sorry. I'll stop." He said. "It's just that you're so short and pretty..."

"YEAH YEAH I KNOW YOU AND IRIS ARE TALLER THAN ME BUT YOU DON'T HAVE TO MOCK ME BY CALLING ME SHORT!" Erika finally smacked Kazue in the head with her book.

"Ow, that hurt. But it can also mean a good thing..." Kazue tried to take back what he said.

"Just make sure that that invitation gets to your sister. Hmph..." Erika put on her lip gloss and left.

"Wow, just in 6th Grade but acting just like a middle-schooler." Kazue said.

"She just takes after her mama." I kidded, referring to him.

"Wowww, I don't even know her that much yet you label me her mama? Woah there, Ms. Iris." He defended.

"Just messin' with 'ya, geez." I laughed.

"Whoo! It's getting hot in here, if it weren't for two people I knew..."

"Maiko, shut up!" Kazue said.

"Kidding, kidding. Anyway, did you get an invitation from Erika, Iris?" She asked. "She invited me, too."

"Yeah, I did. And she gave one to Kazue, *ehem* to give to Charlotte. Awesome! All three of us friends are gonna be there!"

"She also invited me. Except not with my pals. I get a spot in the limelight, alone..."

"Louisa?!" We exclaimed.

"Hello, Iris, Maiko, Kazue. Surprised? Oh, silly me, why did I ask if it was so obvious." Louisa scoffed.

"Why would Erika invite you, anyway?" Kazue snapped.

"Oh, I don't know. But I'm thankful she did. She just said that it was a way of getting to know friends in PriPara. Good thing you wouldn't be there, Kazue. But I'd love to meet your sister, Charlotte. She might be a bit more, angelic. Since you basically have horns that need to be cut off." She laughed.

"If I had 'horns that needed to be cut off', then Erika wouldn't have given me the invitation." He said, arms crossed.

"Very well. I guess I'll have to see if you two have any difference." Louisa walked away.

"She's such a brat. Argh, I can't stand it!" Kazue said angrily.

"Chill. But guess what, us three friends are going to the ball! Aren't you happy that Iris, Charlotte and I are going? But it would be boring without you." Maiko pouted.

"I am happy. I wonder what that Charlotte would wear to show off? Hah." Kazue smirked.

"Obviously something to show off her curves." I laughed.

"Haha, I could imagine." Maiko added.

While Maiko and I were laughing, Kazue was thinking. "What would Charlotte wear for the ball? What would I do?"

"I have an idea."

"Can I pull out Iris for a sec, Maiko? Thanks!" He said hurriedly as he pulled on my arm.

"What?" I asked.

"Darling, can you give me your address, girl?" He whispered, but with his 'Charlotte' way of speaking.

"Sure, Charlotte." I whispered, playing along.

"Thanks, girl. Owe you one, totes." He winked.

"Careful not to give yourself away from what you're saying." I said.

"I'm only doing this since I'm a guy, and it's weird to casually ask a girl if he could go to his house, okay?" Kazue said.

"Fine, sure." I gave in.

"Mom, Lorelei, I'm bringing in a friend!" I called as Kazue and I entered my house.

"Oh, you're my daughter's friend?" Mom asked.

"Hai. I'm Kazue Koichi. Hajimemashite." He bowed.

"Koichi?!"

"So you know Charlotte-sama?" Lorelei suddenly asked him.

"Geez, why does everyone bring up Charlotte these days?" He thought.

"Yes, I know her. She's my sister." He said casually.

"Cool! Oh, I forgot to tell you who I am. I'm Lorelei. I'm 10, and I'm Iris's sister. Nice to meet you too, Kazue-san!" Lorelei gave a close-eyed smile.

"Aww, aren't you adorable? You remind me of my own little sister, Celine. She's the same age as you, too." He smiled.

"We're going to my room. This is for a project, okay?" I lied.

"Alright." Mom called.

As we got inside my room, he was shocked.

"Damn, you read this much books?" He asked.

"Yep." I sighed. "Finished, ALL of them."

"Amazing... You don't have Math books, youuuu suucccckkkk." He said.

"Math sucks. It's not Mental Abuse to Humans for nothing." I told him.

"I thought you were the School Nerd next to Mireille." Kazue said.

"I'm good at every subject, except Math." I said.

"Math is easy! You just have to analyze all the problems." He said.

"What did you even wanna talk about anyway?" I finally brought it up.

"I don't even know what to wear when I show up for that ball! I suck at those!" Kazue said.

"Wait, what?! What do you mean you suck at those? Not when you're Charlotte!" I said."

"Shut.your.mouth.i.di.ot! Shh!" He put a finger to his lips.

"Okay, but seriously, you can figure it out. Review the Coords from Holic Trick, you'll figure it out." I said.

"Okay then." Kazue nodded.

(The Next Day)

"Yo, Kazue!"

He was greeted by one of his friends from Class C. He had white hair and yellow eyes.

"Sadako, bro! What's up?" He asked

"The school nerd's cousin, Erika gave me an invitation just like the one she gave you yesterday." Sadako said.

"Oh, that was meant for my sister. PriPara stuff." Kazue said.

"There goes another Charlotte reference mentioned, yada yada yada. Gimme a break." He thought.

"I was thinking, maybe that ball would be a chance to find a lovelife. Because man, look at you! You got your eyes on the most beautiful girl in class!" Sadako laughed.

"Shut up, bro. Shut up." He laughed back.

(After class)

As I told him, Kazue went on to review the coords from Holic Trick.

"All these years, it's been a long time since I saw Agnes dress for something fancy..."

"Ugh, why think of that stupid Agnes? Who is she to me anymore, anyway?"

"She was a useless brat." He thought as he scrolled through his phone looking at the coords.

(At the Ball)

I came to the venue wearing my costume. (Fairy Tale Apple Coord)

"Haha, Iris. An apple?" Maiko laughed.

"It keeps all bad vibes away." I laughed too.

Maiko was wearing the Powder Blue Monster Coord

"That's so cute!" I said.

"Thanks." Maiko smiled.

And the moment I was mostly waiting for...

Charlotte came and was wearing this.

With a mask on.

"Ooh, mysterious." I said.

"Oh darling. Why have a ball with no mystique?" She laughed.

"That's the Charlotte we know." Maiko said.

And Louisa came too, wearing the Nin Nin Around the Sun Coord.

"A ninja? Wow, that was your idea for a costume? You don't even look the least bit sexy." Charlotte said.

"Wow, you sure take after your little brother." Louisa scoffed.

"I don't want to mess around any longer." Charlotte walked away to be excused.

But then...

"Hey, Iris, right?"

"Yes?" I asked.

"You were talking to that masked girl right? Where's she heading?" He asked.

"I don't know." I answered.

"To the parlor room I think." Erika answered.

The guy made a run for it without thanking her.

He made it to the parlor room part.

"Mademoiselle, may I know who you are?" He asked Charlotte.

"Charlotte. Why do you ask?" She asked him.

"If you would show your face at least...."

Erika was looking through the door, and entered.

"Well, this is intense. Why not you two show your chemistry and dance for the guests? 0 week Old?" Erika requested.

"0 week old...?!"

"Agnes...."

"Okay, fine. You're the host." Charlotte gave in.

They came out of the room, and...

"As host of this costume-themed ball I would like to call on two good friends to dance to one of my favorite songs. Charlotte, Sadako?"

"SADAKO?!" Charlotte thought.

Yes, believe it or not, it was happening.

Charlotte took off her mask.

"Beautiful, Ms. Charlotte." Sadako bowed.

"Thank you, I guess." She was uneasy

"Here, they give you, 0 Week Old! I've always loved Agnes Aimiwa's rendition, but since she isn't around, I'll have these two do it." Erika took a sip from her juice.

"I hope I remember what Agnes taught me when I was little." He said.

"Don"t be afraid, Aria. Believe." A voice rang in his ears.

His eyes widened. "I will never be Aria to you anymore! I am Charlotte!"

"And I will always be Charlotte!"

"One more thing, Charlotte." Erika came near her.

She gave her a heart-shaped charm that had no color.

"After the performance, the charm will determine what Idol Type you are, and maybe I could welcome you to my team. Activate it by saying 'Fairy Change!' And don't forget!"

"Don't be afraid to fly!" She winked.

"To... fly?" Charlotte thought.

"Are you ready, Mademoiselle?" Sadako reached out his hand.

Charlotte just nodded.

"I hope this works... It's been so long." She thought. "And the notes can be high.

"Cyalume Change!" Sadako's clothes turned to the Brilliant Prince Cyalume Coord.

"Amazing! I didn't know PriPara has much more in store!" Charlotte thought as she flew around the audience.

Charlotte stopped flying, and posed alongside Sadako.

"A Dream Team?" Charlotte wondered.

"Sounds exciting to me." My eyes gleamed at the thought of when I could get my charm. Erika probably registered Charlotte in advance.

She probably wants her on her team.

(After the performance)

"Charlotte, you were amazing!" Maiko said.

"You were great flying out there!" I said.

"Thanks, girls." Charlotte gave a closed-eyed smile.

"Ms. Charlotte!"

Sadako came running towards her.

"Sadako. What do you want?" She asked.

"You were amazing out there. And I'll confess..."

"With your beauty and talent, I..."

"I've fallen in love for you."

Sadako came and hugged Charlotte.

She pushed him away and slapped him. "We will never be destined for each other. Even my brother, Kazue wouldn't allow it! Goodbye!" Charlotte stormed off.

"Kazue?!" Sadako's eyes widened.

(Meanwhile...)

"She sounded just like..."

"My brother... My little brother..."

"Aria..."
