Logan's POV

"Okay, so why do you think this is a efficient way of pairing me with Patton, whom I have a romantic feelings towards?" I inquired, feeling quite flustered, I must admit, as such an idea was proposed as a 'great way to couple up me and Morality'.

"Ugh can you stop being a nerd for ONE MINUTE!? I'm trying to get you a boyfriend! And yes it is a good idea! Like come on what's more romantic than to serenade him with a song!?" Roman announced dramatically, making various big arm gestures as he spoke.

"Okay yes I believe you do have a point however the chosen artist is quite an....odd choice. Would you serenade Virgil with Sia?!" I then followed to say. Who could blame me for such emotions? Ugh feelings. If I didn't know Patton, I don't believe I would make such an effort to like - I mean put up with them.

"Oh shut up Logan! Listen, Virgil is saying what I'm saying to you but to Patton and I have no doubt that by the end of today, you won't be single! And hey plus your bit is like....reciting lines but to a tune "

"Whatever you say...."

So, following on from that event, I'm stood in a room, alone, with my lines infront of me. I sank down against the wall, sitting with my head in my hands, occasionally mumbling things along the lines of "why did I agree to this" and "I bet he doesn't even like me - love me even." However the lifeless room did serve an infinitesimal yet still motivating, amount of comfort.

Talking of the usage of the word, 'infinitesimal', that was when a glasses wearing, wide-grin possessing man walked in - Patton. I moved my head back to its place in my hands, where it was prior to Patton coming in the room. I squeezed my eyes shut tightly, in an attempt to stop thrm from........

....leaking....

"Hey Logie! Wait....you okay there?" He greeted, placing a caring hand on my shoulder when he noticed that I was in such a curled up position.

I looked up to see him, concern practically (and of course metaphorically) screaming from his eyes. I gave him a half smile, which wasn't what you would label 'happy'.

"I-I'm okay... thanks...just...ehem.. nervous. Yes that's it." I croaked, feeling confused why I was so nervous, why I was stuttering so much and why I felt like bolting out of here.

"Awww it's okay Logan! Hey listen, I won't force you buuutttt...this does sound fun doesn't it?" I nodded slowly in agreement. "Well then.....why don't we have a go?" He spoke as he offered his other hand to me.

So I took it and stood up, what felt like a million thoughts attacking my brain.

"So are we doing this will a backing track or something?" I questioned, feeling a bit a tiny amount more confident now that I had received Patton's comfort as I walked up to one of the twining script holder things. Unfortunately, the word I am looking for hasn't occurred to me in the present moment of documenting this event.

"I think that's what the headphones are for... I'd only put in one though cause then we can hear eachother sing!" He said, bouncing with excitement with a huge smile on his face.

I took a deep breath.

"You ready Logie?" Patton asked comfortly.

I nodded which was followed by a deep breath

"Do you think I'm stupid?
Do you think I'm bat shoot crazy, having you on my mind
Do you think I'm helpless?
My algebra gon' equal you every time"

"Wait what does that even me-" I tried to say, before being cut off by the sound track indicating me to sing the next line.

"Do you think I'm calling?

"Then you would be correct because" I said, forgetting Patton was there

In response, Patton did his super cute giggle he did whenever something comical occurred, causing me to blush.

"What, what you say?"

"O-only a genius could love a guy like he" I sung...well I didn't sing it I said it. Either way nobody could argue about my burning cheeks, the sensation and sin eating me up.

"He's a genius" Patton chirped, his happiness reflecting onto me.

A ge-ge-ge-ge-ge-ge-genius" Why oh why couldn't I have just confessed normally? Now Patton gets to be greeted by my tomato sauce coloured face! Thanks Prinxiety!

"He's a genius" He sung beautifully, looking at me and winking playfully, taking me by surprise yet also metaphorically tugging at my heartstrings.

He's looking at me, what do I do? Why are my hands sweaty? Why am I sweaty? Why do I feel like I'm really weird?!?! UGH FEELINGS!

"Oh!"

"You'll be my Einstein, my Newton, my Galileo, and my Hawking

Ah. Now I see why they chose this song. I feel bad for Patton as he was dragged into this.....

"What, what you say?"

I got everythin' you ne-e-ed" As I sung - no said my lines, I noticed Patton was too sharing my blush, making me go even redder, which I thought was merely impossible by his point.

I got everything you ne-e-ed" By this point I was, admittingly, kinda getting a bit into the song but so was the glorious man whom was beside me. In that exact moment, nothing mattered. Only the fact that we where having fun.

"O-o-only a genius could love a guy like me" Patton was now being too humanly cute as he was now dad dancing, which is a heck of a lot more cuter than it is thought of to be.

"He's a genius" As the kitten allergic but loving man sung that line in particular, he did little finger guns towards me, attracting me to him even more.

Well, only a genius could love a guy like me" We sang, perfectly in sync with eachother, our voices, despite being Thomas', created a lovely harmony as mine was more baritone and Patton's was more high pitched. Like an angel, let's say.

"Oh, oh" Since I was stupidly lost in my train of thought, I didn't notice Patton had now moved closer. However I felt comfortable with this action.

"'Cause I love a guy like you"

"Oh oh"

"Hey Logie? Can you tell me why again?" Patton asked, missing his line by replacing it with a cheeky question.

"'Cause I love a man like you" I subconsciously sang, yes sang, I made an effort to try and sound good. And just as I said so, the music stopped but most importantly, I received the loveliest and only kiss I've ever experienced.

His soft however slightly chapped lips moved in sync with mine, making my heart flutter like a metaphorical butterfly on high energy drugs. I felt home. I felt like nothing in the world mattered except him because that was the truth. Okay maybe not the whole truth but in that moment, that's what I felt.

I guess I'm not emotionless....

We pulled away, both of us dazed and smiling like idiots.

"Uh.... Patton.... I-I've wanted to ask you this for a vast amount of time...would you like to be my boyfriend?" I inquired, my heart rate speeding dramatically.

"Of course Logie Bear!"

And with his words, which seemed to bounce more than he did, escaped his lips, we shared another kiss.

Okay that's a lie.

We shared another many kisses.

Hope this was alright for you guys! I just thought a change would be nice and I didn't really wanna make a new story just for one one shot. Anyway, more Prinxiety being worked on! Also, I wanted to do this song cause it is literally the Logicality anthem! Or at least one of the many possible anthems! Anyway hope you enjoyed and I'll cya in the next one 😂
