-Roman POV-
I sigh as I lean against the arm of my throne and roll my eyes as I hear my parents and Logan, the head servant, go on and on about what needs to be taken care of today. Maybe I go to the garden to clear my head.. I sigh with a fake smile as I sit up "properly" and look over at my parents that in their own thrones.

"Mother? Father? May I be excused?" I ask.. I hate taking like I'm from the 16 century but my parents claim that it makes me sound more intelligent and like royalty.. "Yes, you are excused.. but please be back in one hour. So we may talk about you finally get the chance to meet the mistress from the Quinn family that we have decided for you to marry. When you are of age." My mom says and I sigh, "Of course mother." I quickly walk out of the throne room and down the hall.

'A mistress?.. marriage?.. If only they knew that I don't like girls like that.. I mean she's probably really sweet and pretty but I don't wanna marry a girl- hell I'm just 16! And my parents want me to be married by 20.. I wish that I tell them I'm gay and that I wanna choice who I wanna marry.. but that's never gonna happen..' I take a deep breath as I walk outside and smile a little at the bright blue sky above me.

I spin around as I walk past rose bushes. I pick one of the red roses and whines as I prick my finger a little. I sigh as the pain starts going away and sit down on the concrete bench.

Virgil POV-
I sigh dreamily as I watch Prince Roman, from a window on the first story, sit down on the small bench in the middle of the huge garden with a rose in his hand. I smile and lean against my broom as I watch his beautiful eyes gently close as he smells the rose. He-Wait No! No! No, I'm not starting this again! He's a prince on his way to marry a princess and I'm-.. I'm just the help.. Hell! He's never even talk or seen me cause he can only talk to the servants that have been here for five years. While I've only been here three.. besides he's probably straight-" "What'cha lookn' at Virge?"

I jump a little at the voice behind me and I quickly turn around with a massive blush on my face. "Nothing!" I sigh as I relies that it's just Patton. Pat looks over my shoulder and smirks at me. "Oh I see what's going on~ You like him don't you-" I quickly cover his mouth with my hands and look around to be sure no one heard Pat. "Could you keep it down.. Yes I will admit he's cute-but their is no way he would ever be interested in some one like me.." I reply as I uncover his mouth.

"Aw, come on Virgil I bet he will once he meets you.. You never know!" Patton says with a smile as he starts walking away with rag on one hand and window cleaner in the other. I sigh as I look down and start sweeping again. 'I highly doubt it..'

//Two years later//
-Roman POV-
I sigh as I walk through the castle trying to think of something to do. "Prince Roman, your mother and father request for you to see them as soon as possible, so you may meet a few servants that have been here for five years." Logan says as he stops me in one of the hallways. I sigh and thank Lo as I start walking towards the throne room.

I quickly walk into the throne room and sit down in my throne next to my dad's. After what seems like forever I quietly sigh as more servants are introduced. "This is Virgil Storm he is 17 years old." I look up a little to see who Virgil is-Wow... I quietly sit up as I look at him more.. He's gorgeous.. I blush bright red as he looks over at me and I quickly look away. I look back at him to see him walking out of the throne room.

I want to talk to him.. I quickly look over at my dad and clear my throat. "Father may I be excused?" I ask properly as I sit up 'straight'. My father nods his head and I quickly walk to the hallway door. I close the door behind me and quickly look around for this Virgil guy. I spot him just down the hall talking to my friend Patton.

I take a deep breath and start walking towards them. 'What am I doing!? This is crazy! What am I gonna say to him!? Hey hottie I think you gorgeous wanna go out with me? What kinda prince says that!' I walk up to them and Virgil quickly stops talking. Patton smiles at me, "Good evening Prince Roman! Do you need me to do something?" I blush as I look over at Virgil and he quickly looks away from me.

"Pat you know you can just call me Roman.. and I-I..uh actually wanted to say hi to Virgil.. I-I just thought it would be nice to meet him.." I say as I look back at Pat with a small smile. He smirks at Vee as he elbows him to say something. "I-um..nice to meet you Prince Roman.." Vi replies as he slightly looks up at me. I blush and smile at his nervousness, "Nice to meet you Virgil and you can call me Roman if that's ok with you.." Patton gives me a smirk and looks over at Vi then back at me.

"Oh-uh I think Remy's calling me.. Sorry I have to get back to work.. Have fun you two!" Patton says as he quickly grabs his broom and nudges Virge in the arm with a smirk as he quickly starts walking towards the kitchen. I look back a Virgil and we both blush as we look at each other. Vi quickly looks away from me again and rubs his arm nervously. "I-...uh-" "Prince Roman, Logan needs to see you right away.." I hear someone say a few feet behind me and I sigh.

"It was nice meeting you Virgil.. maybe we could get to know each other.." "T-that sounds n-nice.." Virge replies as he slowly looks up at me with a shy smile. I blush bright red and smile, "How bout tonight?.. We could meet up in the garden and talk as we walk around-if that's ok with you-" "I would like that.." Virgil says while cutting me off and fully looks up at me. I blush brighter, if that's even possible at this point..

He's even more gorgeous up close.. his eyes are such a beautiful shade of brow with a hint of purple in them.. His lips are a lovely pale pink..oh what I would do to have his lips on mi- "Prince Roman, Logan needs to see you in your room so you two may go over proper prince behavior.." I quickly break from my thoughts and turn around to see Emile. "Ok, I'll be there in a second just tell him that I need to do something real quick.." I say with a small smile towards him and Em nods as he walks away.

I smile as I look back at Vi, "I'll see you tonight at 10?" I ask as I take his hand and kiss the top of it. "T-ten sounds great-t.." He says as he tries to hide his blush in his other hand. I smile and wink at him, "Great I'll see you in the garden at 10.." I reply as I let go of his hand and smile as I quickly walk away to my room. 'Yes! Way to go Roman!' I quietly say to myself as I walk up one of the grad staircases to my room.

Virgil's POV:
My mouth falls open the moment I see PRINCE ROMAN turn to leave. I take a deep breath and try to focus on what just happened.. Did Prince freaking Roman Kingsley just ask me to meet him somewhere and kissed my hand!? I feel my face heat up as I think bout how cute and charming he was.. and did you see that smile!? Oh my god I felt like I was gonna faint!..

//Time Skip to 10 o'clock//
I shakily sigh as I quietly wait out side in the palace garden for Roman to show up.. 'What if he doesn't show? What if he just did this to make me look stupid-or is doing this cause he feels bad for me..' I think to myself nervously as I sit down on the bench in the middle of the garden.

"Hey..You ok?" I jump a little at the sudden voice and turn around to see the prince himself standing behind me. I blush a little and nod my head yes, "Y-yeah..I-I'm fine.." I reply as I quickly look away from him. He sits down next to me with a charming smile, "So-um.. do you wanna walk around and get to know each other?" Ro asked me as he stands up and sticks his hand out for me to take.

I blush as I take his hand and stand up in front of him. He smiles at me as we starting walking towards one of the many paths of flowers. "So-um I guess I'll go first.. I'm Roman Kingsley, which you already knew that, I love Disney, musical theatre, and the color red. What about you?" Rom asked me with a smile as he picks a rose from one of the many bushes.

"Oh-um.. I'm Virgil Storm I like to draw.. um-emo bands, the color purple.. and surprisingly Disney.." I reply with a faint blush across my face with a small smile.
//After 30 minutes of talking and walking around//
I chuckle a little bit at Roman's joke as I start to relax a little bit. "What it's true! My parents did make me take ballet." He replies with a chuckle as we walk down another path. R smiles and looks down at the red rose in his hand before looking back at me. Rom stops which causes me to stop cause his hand is still in mine. I blush as he takes a step towards me and sticks the rose behind my ear.

I look up at him and smile a little at how cute he looks in the moonlight with his gorgeous brown eyes with a hint of red in them.. and his lips are a stunning pink..
I feel his breath on my lips as he leans clo- Wait no! I quickly take a step back with a massive blush on my face as I look up at a confused Roman. "I can't do this.. You're Prince Roman Kingsley for crying out loud!.. and I'm just a servant.." I say as I lower my head.. no matter how bad I want to be with him there's no way it would work..

"Virgil, I know I don't know much about you but I want to know more.. and I'm sorry if I'm being to forward but.. I really like you a-and I understand if you don't feel the same way-" "No, that's not it.. I really like you Roman.. but I just can't.. Your parents would never be ok with you dating someone like me.. and I would most likely be hanged if they knew I was in love with yo-..." I quickly slap my hand over my mouth as I feel tears brimming my eyes.

I feel Roman step closer to me and gently bring me into a hug. "Virgil?.. I-I'm in love with you too.. and I truly want to be with you~.. I know I can't promise life isn't going to always work out but just know that I want you to be safe and happy.." Ro whispers as holds me close by my waist and back.

I lean my head on his shoulder and put my arms on his chest as we gently sway back in forth. "R-Ro, are y-you sure?.." "Virgil.. I'm sure.. the question is are you sure?.." He asks me as he interwinds our fingers and I smile a little...

'Oh god what has this boy done to me~..'
I quickly nod my head, "Yes, I'm sure~" I look up at Ro and smile at his gorgeous face as the moonlight hits it just perfectly~.. I can feel myself leaning in and he does too. "Do you mind if I-" "Not at all.." I cut him off with a blush as Rom smirks and pulls me into a gently kiss. I quickly kiss back and smile as we pull apart after a few seconds.

"Wow.. That felt nice.." Roman says as he puts one of his hands on my check as the other is still in mine. I blush with a shy smile as I lean into his hand and wrap my arm around his neck. "Yeah, that was~... So does this mean we're..you know-um-" "Vee, I would love to be your boyfriend~" I smile as R says those words and kiss his cheek.

//Four year later//
Roman POV:
I smile as I see my husband stand on our balcony looking down at the castle garden. I quietly lean against the door frame as I watch Vee quietly humming to himself. 'How did I get so lucky to have someone like Virgil in my life?~"

I look over at a flower vase filled with red roses that's on a small table beside the door way. I smile as I pick up a beautiful rose and quietly walk up to the love of my life. "Hey gorgeous~" I say as I wrap my arms around his waist. I see a smile spread across his face and kisses me for a few seconds before turning around to look at me.

"Hey babe~ How did the new guard do today in training?" "They did pretty good for their first day..I think they might be ready in just a few weeks.. and-um.. I got you something~" I reply as I take out the simple rose and stick it in Virgil's hair.

"I know it's not much but I thought since today was the day we became boyfriends I just thoug-" I was cut off with a quick kiss. I blush as I look at my drop dead gorgeous husband he looks so beautiful out here in the moonlight. "It's prefect baby~ I love it.. but not as much as I love you~" Virge says and I pull him into my arms again. "I love you too Babe~"
