(Warning: cursing, Remus being Remus, panic attack, and weapons..but no one gets hurt!)
No One POV:
"Where is it!? Where is it!?" Virgil says to himself as he searches in his closet for his stuffed animal. You maybe thinking it's just a stuffed animal no big deal right? Wrong! This is Virgil's favorite stuffed black cat that he got when he was five. He can't sleep without it! Ever since Roman and Virgil have been together they've always slept in the same bed, so he just put the stuffed cat in his closet just incase...but now it's gone... "Come on!..Princey is leaving for a few days! Where are you!?" He says as he throws stuff out of his closet. "Hello gorgeous~, what are you looking fo-woah!" Roman says in the door way while almost getting hit in the face with a shoe. Virgil turn around, "Oh Ro-Ro, I'm sorry I didn't see you there." He says as he stands up and walks over to Roman. "It's fine...but what are you looking for?" Roman asked in a concerned tone. Virgil's mind was racing to find a good excuse because he's to embarrassed to tell him what he's really looking for. "Um-my black and purple checkered vans." (IDK if they have these...sorry) Virgil lied to his boyfriend. Roman sighs and pulls out his bag, he's taking for his quest, from the hallway. "Sorry I toke them...I thought they would look good with a shirt I have packed..." Roman says as he pulls V's vans out of his bag. Virge mentality sighed in relief..because Ro believed him. I mean don't get me wrong he hates lying to him but he doesn't want Roman to know what he was really looking for. "Oh, it's fine you can borrow them." He replies with a slight smile. "Thanks, lovely~" Roman replies and kisses Virgil. Virgil kisses back and wraps his arms around the princely side's neck. Roman puts his around his waist. They break for air, "I wish I could stay longer, baby...but I have to go." Roman says as he grabs his bag and kisses Virgil one last time before heading out on his quest. "Love you, Babe~" Virgil says as he hugs him. "Love you too, Fairest~...Bye." Roman walks out of V's room and to the imagination room. Virgil turns back to his closet and sits down in front of it. "Think..when did I last see it." He says to himself and thinks.
-Flashback a Few Weeks Ago-
Virgil sighs happily as he puts a box of old toys and stuff on his bed in his old room before heading back to the light sides.
-End of Flashback-
"Oh my god! I must've put it in that box!" Virgil grabs his old hoodie and black converse. He runs out of his room and down the hall towards the dark side of the mind where no light side would dare take one step in. Just as he turns a corner a door hits him in the face. Virgil falls to the floor and drops his hoodie and shoes. "My apologies Virgil, I didn't see you th-" just as Logan was apologizing he picks up V's old hoodie and shoes. "Virgil, what is this?" Virgil's eyes widen and rushes to grab his stuff from him. Logan turns around and relies where Virg is going. "Virgil, are you..are you going back to them?" Logan's says with concern in his voice as he looks Virgil in the eyes. "What!? No, no no Logan, it's not what you think!" Virgil says as he looks at his closes friend. "Then what are you doing?" He asked sternly. V messes with his finger nails and looks at the ground, "Logan, if I tell you what I'm doing..you have to promise me that you won't tell anyone ok?" Logan nods his head, "Of course." Virgil sighs and looks back at him, "There is something in my old room that I need to get." "And what is this something?" "A-...a stuffed animal that I need to help me sleep." Logan nods his head and hands him his stuff back. "Please be safe, and be back in two hours if not then I will send someone to come and get you. If you are back before then just send me a virtual message on your cellular device and or knock on my door." Virgil smiles and thanks Logan before walk to the entrance to the dark side of the mind. Virgil puts his purple hoodie and purple converse on the floor beside the door and puts on his old outfit. He shakily puts his hand on the door knob. "Just get the cat and leave as quickly as you can." Virgil says to himself and turns the knob. He quietly walks into the dim lighted hallway and pulls his hood up over his face. He closes the door and quickly walks down the hall avoiding eye contact with a few dark sides that were out in the hallway ether stealing, sexual harassing, and chasing others with knives. Virgil sighs of relief that no one recognized him as he turn the corner. Just as he makes it to his room he hears two sides that he knows all to well flirting with one another. Virgil turns around to see Remus pining Deceit to the wall kissing his neck. Virgil's mind races to the day when he left the dark sides.
-Flashback-
"Hey babe have you seen my eye shad-" Virgil freezes in the kitchen doorway to see Remus, Virgil's boyfriend, making out with his best and only friend, Deceit. Virgil's eyes go wide and a tear slips down his cheek. Remus turns around and see Virgil. He smirks evilly at him and continues to kiss De. Virgil grits his teeth and storms out of the doorway. He packs his stuff and walks to the front door. "I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU TWO WOULD DO THIS! DE YOU WERE MY CLOSEST FRIEND..I TRUSTED YOU AND RE I TRULY LOVED YOU! YOU SON OF A BITCH!" Virgil left not sure where he was going but anywhere was better than there.
-End Of Flashback-
Virgil feels a tear go down his face and turns back around. He turn the door kno- "What are you 'not' doing?" Virgil heard Deceit hiss. Virgil freezes and doesn't say a word. "Hey, are you just as brain dead as me? He asked you a question." Remus says as he turns Virg around. Deceit and Remus gasp slightly and smirk evilly, "Well, well guess who's back...Virgil long time no see...how are you light sides?" Deceit asked with sarcasm dripping from his voice. Virgil quickly opens the door and closes it. He locks the door and sits in front of it. Virgil can hear the dark sides talking through the door. "HEY GUYS! GUESS WHO'S BACK!.." Remus yells outside the door. "Who?"one of the others says as a crowd gathers around the door. "VIRGIL! and I think we should give him a heart felt welcome back...don't you?" Deceit says with a smirk. Everyone nods in agree and grabs knives, swords, poison, etc. Remus grabs his mace. A few tears go down Virg's face as he takes his phone out of his pocket. He shakily calls Logan on face time.
-Face Time Logan-
"Hello?"
"Hello!? Logan I-I need help!"
*Logan relies where Virgil is and see that he's crying*
"Virgil what happened?"
"Th-they saw m-me and now they're tr-trying to break the d-door down!"
"Do not worry Virgil. I-"
-Call Ended-
"Logan!?" Virgil shakes his phone but it was no use the batteries dead. Virgil wipes away a few of his tears and quickly pushes his desk in front of the door. "That should hold them for a few minutes." He says to himself and sits down on his bed. Virgil looks over at a small shoe box on the side of the bed and grabs it. He carefully opens it to find a few art supplies, cringe poems he wrote, and on top of it all was his stuffed animal. He gasped and takes it out of the box. He holds it tightly and tries to calm himself down. "It's ok Logan will be here with help...it's ok...it's o-" He was cut off by a knife stabbing though the door. "Logan please hurry!" Virgil cries as he curls up on his bed. "VVVVIIIRRRRGGGIIIILLLL!~ come out, come out wherever you are!" Remus yells as he hits the door. Virgil cries harder and grips his black cat more. "pl-please...h-hurry..." He whispers to himself as he hears the Dark Sides chuckle. His breathing becomes less even until he feels like he can't breath at all. He curls up on his old bed and he knows he's having a panic attack. He starts to shake violently and can faintly hear voice through the door but they feel so distant.
-Outside The Door-
Deceit puts his ear to the, now banged up, door. Deceit chuckles as he hears Virgil crying through the door. "Aww, we made him cry. I guess the big strong Paranoia isn't so rough and tough as he thought." Deceit says in a mocking tone as the others laugh at V. Remus chuckles and gets ready to strike the door again. "Hey! Back away from the door right now!" All the Dark Sides look up to see Roman with his sword in one and Virgil's purple converse and hoodie in the other. Remus and Deceit look at each other then smirk. They both knew what the other was thinking. Deceit walks closer to Roman, "Roman~ aren't we 'glad' to see you." He says as he puts his arm around Ro's neck. Roman pushes De's arm off him, "Don't touch me and stay away from Virgil!" Remus evilly smirks at his brother, "But we haven't even got to the best part yet~" Remus snaps his fingers and all Roman can see is darkness. A spot light comes on, and lands on a crying Virgil in the center of the darkness curled up into his knees. "Virgil!" Roman drops everything and runs over to the crying Anxiety only to have him vanish into thin air. Roman hears laughter but he doesn't know where it's coming from. Until the spot light moves again. Roman turns around to see Remus standing only a few feet away. "You really think you were going to get Virgie that easy!?" Remus says with a chuckle and smirks.
