( Deceit's name is Deven in this AU... Also Dee and Rem are Virgil's dads so Remus and Roman aren't related in this)
No One POV:
Virgil smiles as he runs out to the sand box on the playground with his best friend Patton. They both giggle as they start making sand castles and different things with the sand. "Pat! Pat! Look... *V points to a small boy with glasses like Patton's as he sits on the swings reading* that boy over there told me that he likes you." Virge says with a huge smile as he continues to build his sand castle.

Patton gasps, "Like, like likes me?" Virge nods quickly and Pat gasp with a smile. "Really!? Well I like like him too!" Patton yells proudly. As they continue to talk about everything a small boy named Roman walk up behind them and quickly pulls Vi hair. "Ow! That hurt!" Virgil says as he throws sand at him.

Roman quickly runs away laughing till he is a few feet away from Virgil and sticks his out at him. Virge does it back at him, "You meany!" He yell as Ro walks away. Patton gasp, "You said a bad word, Virge.." Virgil crosses his arms and pouts as he sits there with Pat. "I don't care, cause Roman is a big meany."

-Later that day; same POV-
After school Virgil walks out with his two dads Remus and Deven. They buckle up in their car as they drive home. "So how was school, My Little Nightmare?" Dee asked as looks at Vi from the passenger's seat. Virge pouts as he sits in his car seat. "No good...a kid in my class keeps picking on me every time we are on the playground..." Dee laughs a little at this, "Well, what's their name?" "Roman..." Virge says as he fake gags at as he says his arch nemesis name.

"I think I know what's happening..." Deven says with a smirk as he nudges Rem with his elbow. Vi quickly look up with a confused look. "What?" "I think this Roman kid likes you." Dee says as he looks back at Virgil. Virgil eyes grow wide as his face turns red. "Does not!" He yells as he crosses his arms again. "I think so and I think your Dada agrees with me." Deven replies with a smirk.

Remus shakes his head no, "I don't know Dee.. Remember that kid named Thomas I picked on in 5th grade? Well I didn't have a crush on him, I just did it to impress you. Maybe this Roman kid's doing it on purpose to impress some- ow.." Deven cuts Remus off by hitting his arm as he glares at him. "I mean- listen to your daddy... you know will for a blow j- ow! I was kidding!" Dee hits Rem in the arm as he blushes.

-7:30pm /it's Virgil's bed time/-
After supper and taking a bath, Dee and Re take Vi to his room to sleep. Deven tucks Virge into bed and kisses his head. "Good night, My Little Nightmare~ sweet dreams.." Dee says as he walks out of his room. "Night Daddy!" Vi replies with a smile. Remus waits till Dev's not in the room so he can talk to his son. "Ok, so Virge remember how you were talking about that kid named Roman after school?" Rem asked with a small smirk.

Vi nods his head quickly. "Well, if he starts picking on you again I want you to punch him in the stomach, ok?" "Ok, Dada!" "But you can only punch him when he's picking on you and you can't tell Daddy, ok?" Re says as he looks at the door to be sure that his husband wouldn't walk in. Virge nods quickly and Remus smirks, "Good.. Now good night, Little Monster." "Good night Dada!"

-The Next Day-
Virgil quickly runs to the swing set with Patton following behind him. V sits down in the first opened swing and Pat sat next to him. "How did you do on the test on counting to one hundred?" Pat asked with a smile. Vi just shrugs as he starts swinging. After a few minutes of chatting and swinging. Roman goes behind Virgil and pushes him out of the swing.

Virge falls with a thud as he hits the grassy ground. He glares at the Prince boy as he gets up and walks closer to him. Ro smirks and Vi punches him as hard as he could in the stomach. Rom cringes as he falls to the ground in tears.

Patton gasp as he gets off his swing, "Virgil what did you do!?" Vi's eyes grow wide as he sees Ro start to cry on the ground while holding his stomach. "I don't- I didn't mean..I-" "Virgil Liar! Go to the office!" His teacher yells as she walks over to Rom to help him up.

-A few minutes later-
Virgil nervously sits down as he waits outside Mr. Sanders' office. Vi starts to tear up as he thinks about the bad things that might happen. Suddenly he feels someone sit next to him. He turns his head to look at them as a tear streams down his face.

Roman sits next to Virgil with a sorry expression. Ro quickly wipes Vi's tear off his face. "I'm sorry I got you in trouble.." He says as he looks away from Virge. V sniffles as he looks down to see a little bit of dirt on Rom's white shirt.

"I'm sorry I punched you in the belly..." He quietly replies back. Ro looks up at V with a small smile. "It's ok.. I kinda deserved it for picking on you all the time.." "...Why do you pick on me?" Virge asked as he quietly wipes away more tears from his face. Ro blushes as he looks away from V, "Cause.. I like you.." Vi blushes as he quickly looks away from him. "Like..like like me?"

Rom turns back to Vi and slowly nods his head. "Well then, I like like you too!" Vi says with a smile and Roman smiles bright. "Really!?" Vi nods his head and Ro moves closer to Virgil. "Are we boyfriends now?" Roman asked with a smile on his face.

Virge quickly nods with a huge smile. "Yeah!" "Yay!.. I got to get back to Miss Quinn's room. I'll see you tomorrow Virge!" Ro says as he quickly stands up and waves to his new boyfriend as he walks down to Miss Q's kindergarten class. Vi quickly waves back with a smile as he watches Ro leave.

-15 years later-
//Roman and Virgil are still together and are on a date at the park looking at Christmas lights//
-Virgil POV-
I smile as I lean my head on my boyfriend's shoulder as we continue to walk around the small park. Ro wraps his arm around my waist as see all sorts of different colors everywhere. I snuggle closer to his. "I'm having a lot of fun babe.." I say with a smile and Ro smiles back. "Me too baby.. Happy anniversary." He replies as he kisses my cheek.

I smile at the memory of how we got together. "Happy anniversary Princey." "Hey babe? Before we head home there's something I wanna show you, but you'll have to close your eyes.." Roman says and stops us from walking any further. I chuckle a little and nod, "fine.." I close my eyes and Ro grabs both my hands as he leads me somewhere.. "Ok stop right here, don't open your eyes till I tell you too." I hear R say and I nod.

Roman lets go of my hands, "Ok open.." I open my eyes to see Christmas lights that spell out something. My eyes quickly adjust it says, 'Virgil Will You Marry Me?' OH MY GOD! My eyes grow wide as I gasp and turn around to Ro on one knee with a ring box in his hand. My hands go over my mouth as feel tears come to my eyes.

"Virgil, you are the light of my life and I want to wake up every morning to see you gorgeous face-" I quickly cut him off with a kiss. "Yes! Of I'll marry you!" I say as tears stream down my face. Roman smiles and quickly picks my up bridal style. "He said yes!" My boyfr- I mean husband yells and I turn to see who he was yelling at to see a crowd of people that are watching us.

I smile and kiss Rom. He quickly kisses back. We pull apart after a minute or two. I smile as Rom sets me down on the ground and wraps his arms around my waist. I wrap mine around his neck. "Let's see if it fits." Ro says as he takes the wedding ring out of the box. The ring has an amethyst stone with a dark grey ban.

I smile as Rom slips it onto my ring finger and it fits perfectly. I smile as I look back at Roman, "I love you so much.." "I love you too mi amor~"
