Rosa's POV

I wake up to the pretty common sound of sirens, here in Gotham you hear a siren every few minutes. I look over the crack in the boarded up window in my room and watch a police car zoom past, who knows who it is this time.

I look away from the window then bend down to my cardboard boxes, yoga mat and blanket I use as a bed and break apart the boxes and go into the corridor where I throw them down the hallway then go back into my room and put the yoga mat and blanket into my backpack that I put on my back.

I'd say it's around 4am or 5am, I normally get up at this time since the sun is just rising and both villains and heroes who could find out who I am are either going to sleep or just waking up, giving me a 30 minute window to get to my next location without being detected.

I leave the abandoned hotel and go into the streets where I can of course, still hear sirens and for once I head to the noise. I'm bored and I'm going in this direction anyway so I'm not wasting any time.

"Joker put your hands up, you're surrounded!" Commissioner Gordon speaks into a speaker and I put my domino mask on hiding my eyes then poke my head around the corner and watch as The Joker laughs from inside. This isn't going to go down well.

"Help!" A lady screams from inside the building. Ok seriously, where's Batman? Even Robin could do something right now, where's he?

"He has hostages." An officer says. Well no shit Sherlock.

"Don't go in." The commissioner says and I roll my eyes. This people is why Gotham has Batman and Robin, they actually do work, unlike the GCPD who are either extremely late or get everyone killed. I'd help but I'd then get attention and that could risk the shadows finding out I'm not dead which they, of course, think I am.

Then from around the corner comes someone I didn't expect, The Flash... He runs into the building then a second later runs out with an unconscious Joker, hands him to the cops then runs off. I thought I was in Gotham, not Central City...I am in Gotham right?

The police take forever to leave so I end up taking the long way round to save time and pass the town hall where something big is happening. I switch my mask for a pair of black mirrored sunglasses.

I walk past a family to see what's going on and I get some dirty glares from girls my age once I stand next to them but I ignore them and put up my dark grey hood.

The mayor walks on and the crowd cheers for him, they obviously forgot this is the guy who fails miserably when it comes to securing Gotham, it is his job afterall. We are so lucky we have the dynamic duo to do his job, it seems they do everyone's jobs around here.

"I want to welcome the CEO of WAYNE enterprises, Mr Bruce Wayne!" The mayor says and Bruce Wayne, I presume, walks out from the side of the stage and up to the mic and shakes the mayor's hand before talking about some technology crap.

My attention goes to a boy around my age with black hair and blue eyes. The boy is staring at me suspiciously, very suspiciously. Bruce then walks off stage and to the boy who points at me, I disappear into the crowd before Bruce can turn around and I continue walking.

I then finally get to my destination; The Flea.
