IT WAS quite early on Sunday morning when Elijah entered the study and winced when he saw Klaus reading a book. He was going to tell him but he was hoping it might have been afternoon and Klaus might have been slightly drunk when it happened but he couldn't lie to his brother any longer.

He had felt dirty, trying to fall asleep next to Hayley last night, knowing she wasn't the person that his soul was meant to be with.

"Hello brother," Klaus greeted as he caught sight of him.

"Niklaus I have a small confession to make."

"Okay spit it out," Klaus shut his book.

"Well, the thing is Diana and I..." Klaus stared at him expectantly, "I had sex with Diana." Elijah blurted. Klaus stared at him with narrowed eyes.

"What?"

"Now before you get mad, brother. Please know she is my soulmate also."

"What?"

"Well when I found out I went to Diana's house and she explained that a soulmate bond can start platonically before it becomes love, and our... thing caused it to finish forming," Elijah explained carefully.

"So you shared your blood with my soulmate, knowing full well that she had just cast me off for my infidelity?" Kalus questioned.

Elijah hesitantly nodded. Klaus glared at him, speeding towards him and gripping his throat tightly.

"This seems to be the second time, you've taken something from me, Elijah," Klaus yelled his eyes flashing amber and the veins under his eyes protruding at the flare and expense of his anger, "Must you always take what is mine?"

"She also said that she couldn't take the mate bond away fully only suppress it so there is hope for you yet brother," Elijah choked out causing Klaus' eyes to soften back into the blue hue and for the hybrid to drop him.

"Really?" Elijah nodded, breathing slightly heavier than usual, "Well in that case maybe we should pay her a visit," Klaus smirked.

Diana was asleep in her bed when she rolled over and felt two presences in her room. She peeled one eye open and jumped at the sight of the two Mikaelson men in her room, "Good Gaea what type of Edward Cullen shit is this?"

"Well love we've come to talk to you," Klaus smiled. Diana sighed as they sat on her bed. She put a silencing spell over her room so that they could talk freely without her children listening.

"What do you want?"

"Well a little birdie, i.e. Elijah told me we're still mates so I have come here to express my deepest apologies and ask for your forgiveness," Klaus smiled at her again.

"Really Elijah, you are the worst at keeping secrets," Diana said causing Elijah to shrug.

"He choked me into my confession after I told him about us," Elijah said straightening his tie a bit.

"And when would you have told me?" Klaus asked.

"When you were... ready."

"You mean when you were ready."

"Maybe a little bit of both."

Klaus sat on the bed, taking her hands gently into his own, "Diana my darling goddess, in the years you have known me and the years we have been together, I had never, ever been disloyal to you. So why would that loyalty change for Hayley?" Diana narrowed her eyes as if to say go on, "I didn't know what was happening. One minute I was drinking with Hayley and the next I'm waking up naked the next morning."

Diana's eyebrows furrowed, "Are you suggesting she drugged you?"

"Yes. Please Ana, my love. I would never do anything to hurt you and you know this," Klaus took her hand in his as he pleaded. Diana could see the truth shining in his eyes and she sighed.

"Are you sure?"

"Positive."

Diana got out of her bed and went into her closet to change. When she exited she looked at the two who were still on her bed, "Well come on them. I have a werewolf to kill."

The two scrambled off her bed and followed her. They got into Diana's car and drove to the Mikaelson mansion. When Diana pulled up she saw Artemis' car parked in the driveway and frowned.

They entered the house and saw Hope and Hayley arguing in the foyer while Artemis and Apollo were off to the side watching.

"What's going on here?" Klaus asked.

"I don't know. We went for breakfast and when we came here Hayley saw us and started screaming at Hope," Artemis replied.

"What is wrong with you? You're acting like a child," Hayley screeched.

"Says the one, screaming at me because I have friends over," Hope yelled.

"I don't want those little brats in my house," Hayley screamed.

"They're my siblings!" Hope shouted.

"Excuse me?"

"They're my siblings. If I want to spend time with them I will," Hope said sternly.

"Hanging out with those children has made you a brat, just like them," Hayley replied gripping her arm causing Hope to wince in pain. Diana walked up to her and grabbed her ear dragging her into the backyard.

"One, my children are not brats, they are very well mannered. Two, do you realise you almost hurt your daughter?"

"I don't care. She needs to learn discipline," Hayley sneered. The rest of the Mikaelson family had followed them outside to see the fight unfold.

"Discipline? Like you're such a good role model for discipline right?" Diana laughed, "Do you not remember? You broke Tyler and Caroline up, you caused a bunch of drama and you're talking about discipline? You really are a hypocrite Hayley."

"What about you, huh? Little miss perfect. Perfect house, perfect family, perfect husband, well guess what you're life's not so perfect now is it," Hayley laughed.

"Is that why you drugged my husband into sleeping with you?" Diana asked, tilting her head in curiostiy. Gasps were heard from behind her and she assumed it was Kol and Rebekah.

"Please, he slept with me because he wanted to," Hayley rolled her eyes with a chuckle.

"So why does he have no recollection of this apparent 'wanting'?" Diana said.

"Because we were drunk."

"Vampires can't get drunk after one glass of bourbon, stop lying," Diana snapped.

"I'm not."

Diana nodded, "If you say so. Vertias Tempus."

"What did you do to me?" Hayley asked.

"Simple truth spell," Diana shrugged with a smile, "So Hayley, did you or did you not drug Niklaus Mikaelson into sleeping with you?"

"I did."

"How?"

"I found a witch, she gave me a love potion."

"Ohh, the truth comes out. Please tell me, did you or did you not, sleep with Tyler Lockwood, 18 years ago, while you knew he was with Caroline?"

"I did."

"Interesting. What else have you been lying about?"

"Hope's not my daughter," Hayley added mindlessly, her eyes glassed over.

"What?" Hope muttered from her place off to the side.

"The witches in New Orleans heard about mine and Klaus' time together and they transferred one of your children to me. They're triplets," Hayley spoke.

Diana nodded, "Aphrodite, Apollo and Artemis. So you took my child away from me? Wow, you really are jealous of me. Do you really think the Mikaelsons are going to let you live after this?"

"Elijah loves me."

"Oh, sweetie. Elijah's my soulmate, he doesn't love you," Diana laughed, "Karma's a bitch isn't it."

Hayley was fuming as Diana was laughing. She lunged at the goddess but she disappeared and reappeared behind her.

"That was a cheap shot."

"I'm a hybrid, you can't beat me," Hayley declared.

"Really," Diana started floating in mid-air, "I'm the Kraken Witch, you... can't beat me." Diana came back down and Hayley came at her again but there was a sword held against her throat, "Any last words?"

"I'll come back for you," Hayley spat. Diana rolled her eyes and her sword slashed through her body and Hayley disintegrated to ashes.

Diana willed the sword away as she walked into the house and to the drinks cart in the living room. She poured herself some bourbon and conjured some Ambrosia to put in it. The Mikaelson family had followed her inside and the triplets were in Hope's room.

Klaus walked up to Diana carefully, "Are you ok, love?"

"What if Hope doesn't want me to be her mom? What if she liked Hayley as a mother and I just killed her. Oh Gaea, what did I do? I just killed her mother," Diana rambled. Klaus took a step forward and captured her lips in a kiss. When he pulled away from her she looked at him, "Did you just kiss me?"

"It was the only way to shut you up. Sorry," Klaus apologised.

"No, no. It's fine," Diana blinked, "Do it again."

Klaus smiled and kissed her again. A cough interrupted the two and they turned to see Rebekah, "Hope wants to know if she could stay with you tonight, Ana?"

"Of course she can," Diana nodded as Klaus rolled his eyes impatiently.

"Good. Please don't have sex on the couch," Rebekah replied. Diana flushed as Klaus rolled his eyes again.

"Go away, Rebekah," He grumbled. Rebekah left the room and Klaus turned to Diana, "Am I forgiven now?"

"You were always forgiven, you just weren't in my good graces," Diana smiled.

"So am I in your good graces now?"

"Yes, you are in my good graces," Diana nodded.

Klaus smiled victoriously, "What kind of sword was that it was quite interesting?"

"Seraph blade. Shadowhunter stuff," Diana shrugged as they went into the foyer where the triplets and Elijah were waiting.

"Are we ready?" Diana asked. They nodded and they left the house getting into both cars and driving to Diana's house.

When they arrived, Apollo and Artemis went to get Hope's room ready and Diana asked Hope to talk.

"I killed your mother."

"She's not my mother. She stole me from my mother. I could have had siblings for my entire life but she got in the way," Hope replied.

"So, you're not mad?"

"No, of course not. I think you'll be a better mom than she ever was anyway," Hope smiled at her and Diana smiled back.

"Thank you. Go up and help them organise your room because I wouldn't be surprised if they're fighting already," Diana joked. Hope nodded and went upstairs and Klaus and Elijah came out of the shadow, "Edward Cullen 1 and 2," she pointed in between them and they laughed.

They sat on either side of her and Diana rested her head on Elijah's shoulder and Klaus put his head in her lap.

"Are you comfortable there, my darling," Elijah asked as she was playing with Klaus' golden hair.

"Very," Diana nodded. They stayed like this, listening to the children upstairs watch a movie and argue about which character was better.
