THE DAY had finally come. Or days. The main hall had been set up nicely in arrays of black and blue. Hope, Artemis and Apollo had gone shopping for what they were going to wear. Apollo didn't really want to go but Artemis had dragged him. The three had opened their minor presents earlier and they were going to get the biggest ones later.

The two girls were now getting ready at Diana's house. Artemis had bought a short floral pattern navy dress which straps crossed at the back.

Hope had bought something a bit simpler going with a sheer silky navy blue.

Diana had gone through the party dresses she had in Olympus and managed to find a fitted black dress in the back of her closet.

"Are you guys ready?" Apollo asked from the doorframe. He was wearing a blue suit with a black undershirt.

"Where's your tie?" Artemis asked.

"Mom said I didn't have to wear a tie so ha," Apollo smiled. In the store, he was whining about Artemis wanting him to wear a tie so when he arrived home he had asked his mother if he couldn't wear one.

"You guys look beautiful," He complimented.

"And you look very handsome," Diana kissed his cheek.

"Mom," he whined, "Stop." Diana rolled her eyes. The four went down the stairs and saw the arrangement of people in Diana's living room. Artemis and Apollo immediately went up to their Uncle Damon while Hope went to her family.

Hands covered Diana's eyes, "Guess who."

"If it's anyone other than Caroline I swear I will drop kick you," Diana said before she turned around to give her blonde friend a hug, "I missed you Carebear."

"I missed you too Ana. How are the twins are they excited?" Caroline asked.

"Very. Artemis managed to get Hope to agree to do a double birthday so she was really happy about that." Diana said.

"Cool. I'm going to go surprise, Lizzie and Josie," Caroline went off to see her daughters and Diana got everyone's attention.

"So the party starts in ten minutes. Can everyone please make their way to whatever transportation you are using to get to the school. Thank you."

People filed into their cars and drove off to the school for the party.

"They're 19 Ana," Damon said coming over.

"I know. Well technically they're 24 because of the time they spent in Olympus but we won't get into that," Diana smiled watching her daughter dance with her date, "Dance with me."

Diana pulled Damon onto the dance floor as he protested but settled when she shot him a glare. From her place, she could see Izzy dancing with Simon, Clary dancing with Jace and Alec dancing with Magnus. She waved at them and they smiled at her.

"What is Klaus doing here?"

"He came to enrol Hope. So don't worry the Mikaelsons aren't wreaking havoc on the town," Diana said.

"Father of the year, everyone," Damon said sarcastically.

"Can I cut in?" A voice interrupted from behind Diana.

"No you can not," Damon said glaring at the hybrid.

"It's fine Dames," Diana kissed him on the cheek as he sighed.

Klaus took Damon's place and smiled at Diana, "You look beautiful."

"Thank you," Diana replied. They danced in silence until Diana sighed, "Why did you ask to dance with me?"

"Because I thought maybe it would put a cap on the bubbling anger your heart holds for me."

"I'm not angry at you. I get it I wasn't good enough to be your mate. I mean, after all, you are the great Klaus Mikaelson," Diana spoke spitefully.

"I didn't say that, love."

"Well, it seems it was implied when you cheated on me with the werewolf. Tell me, Klaus, was she good enough for you? Or did Elijah swoop in and steal her heart before you could? Or is it that you just can't keep a woman?" Diana parted from him and walked off leaving him on the dance floor by himself.

Diana stood off to the side drinking bourbon when Elijah approached her.

"Elijah."

"Diana. How are you enjoying the evening," Elijah said politely.

"Fine. You?"

"It's wonderful although Hayley's sulking in the corner is annoying me," Elijah said. Diana laughed.

"Why are you marrying her?"

"She wasn't always this incessantly irritating. It's only because she doesn't like being here."

"Please Elijah, you know she was always incessantly irritating," Diana smirked. She noticed Hayley sitting in a corner glaring at her. She twiddled her fingers in a wave at the hybrid and Hayley turned her head.

"You should go to her, she looks like she's trying to make me combust with her glare."

"What if I want to stay here with you," Elijah smiled at her.

"This can't happen, Elijah," Diana muttered.

"It already did," Elijah took her hand and lead her to the dance floor as a slow song came on.

"Okay, I may be wicked and revengeful at times but I won't do what she did to me."

Elijah stayed quiet as he spun her around. The two were silent until Diana had to go up onto the mini stage they had.

"Hello. It's time for presents. So can everyone please, come outside for the last set of presents," Diana announced. Everyone filed outside as a car and a motorcycle drove up.

Artemis screamed in joy as she went over to the black car and Apollo's eyes lit up at the sight of the motorcycle.

"Temis opened the back door so Hope can get hers," Diana said. Alyssa did as she was told and three hellhound puppies jumped out.

Artemis screamed again as she, Hope and Apollo bent down to pet the puppies.

"Look at your daughter playing with your cousin Nik, isn't it adorable," Kol teased causing Klaus to roll his eyes.

"Come on, hold them up let me take a picture," Diana took out her phone as the three held up their new puppies and smiled. She quickly snapped a photo.

They filtered back inside to take more pictures as people began to leave.
