002.

DIANA sat in her chair looking at the family in front of her. Elijah spoke up, "So Ana how has life been?" Diana's eyes narrowed at him.

As if he didn't know.

"Not bad. Spent like 5 years in Olympus doing royal duties and whatever. Came back to earth, helped my brothers with whatever drama they had because you know how they are, can't seem to stay out of trouble. Then Stefan decided he wanted to die on his wedding day so that put a dampener on the rest of my year. And now we're here 15 years later." Diana said with a shrug.

"I'm sorry for your loss," Freya told her sympathy dripping in her voice.

"It's fine. You're Freya, right? Rebekah told me about you," Diana mentioned.

"You guys still talked?" Klaus gritted his teeth.

"Yeah I saw her in Paris last month," Diana smiled. Klaus glared at Rebekah in anger while she shrugged.

"Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean, Kol and I can't still talk to her."

"You too?" Klaus asked Kol and he shrugged.

"So Ana how are the children?" Kol asked ignoring his older brother.

"They're fine. Artemis' still working on school and Apollo's ... well Apollo." Diana concluded.

"Tell us about them," Elijah announced wanting to know more about his ex-sister in law's life. "What species are they? Vampire?"

"They're hybrids."

"Artemis is a Goddess and a Vampire. She's the Goddess of Nature and Pure Thoughts. Apollo's a God and Vampire, the God of Intellect and Truth."

"Do they struggle with it? I know Hope did," Klaus inquired.

"Artemis does. All gods are wired for battle, some more than others. Alyssa is one of them and then she has the Amazonian side on top of it. So she has ADHD and Dyslexia. Dyslexia we've found ways around and she has special medication for her ADHD but she doesn't take it because it stops her from playing sports." Diana expressed.

"So she's stupid?" Hayley asked bluntly.

"She's not stupid just academically challenged. She's very good at things outside of school," Diana's face hardened and her jaw clenched.

"What sports do they do now?" Rebekah asked.

"Artemis does Dance, Swimming and Art, and battle training with Athena and Artemis the first. Apollo does Lacrosse and Art as well. And he does swordsmanship with Thor and Apollo the first. So they're quite active in terms of sports."

"Do you have sports here?" Klaus questioned.

"Yes. We have weekly PE classes that are mandatory and every student has to take at least one extracurricular."

A knock sounded on the door and Lizzie poked her head in, "The game is about to start. Hurry up. Dad said he'll finish Hope's paperwork later."

The weekly Lacrosse game was starting and Diana had completely forgotten about it. Apollo was going to be playing and he wanted Diana to be there.

"Do you want to go to a Lacrosse game?" Diana questioned the family. They got up and exited the office and onto the large field. Artemis came bounding up to Diana with Hope following her.

"How do you like the room, Hope? Is it okay?"

"It's perfect, very spacious," Hope replied.

Hope went over to her parents as Diana and Artemis watched the football team try not to win.

"We have to throw the game so we don't look suspicious," Diana explained noticing their confused expressions, "We win once in a while though."

After the game finished Diana went back to her office to finish the paperwork while Hope showed her family around the compound. Diana sat at her desk and flicked through papers as the door was knocked on.

"Come in," She called.

"Hello love," Klaus said walking in. Diana didn't look up.

"Can I help you?"

"Yes, actually I noticed something during the football game. Who is the father of your children?"

"Thor," Diana lied keeping a straight face before she laughed, "Sorry I just heard how stupid that sounded."

"Are they mine or not?" Klaus questioned angrily as she continued to laugh.

"I'm not going to lie to you. Even though I'm the goddess of lies, how ironic. Yes, they're yours," Diana told him.

"And you kept them from me," Klaus was angered by this information.

"No. I told them that they should contact you. They wanted nothing to do with you. But now that you're back, I would never keep you from your children, so you can get to know them. Just don't force them into anything. They want to know that you care, so you might have to open up a bit," Diana looked him in the eyes as he nodded. "If that's all, I have paperwork to do. And tell Hope if she can start next Monday and get herself settled this week. You know where the door is."

Klaus exited the room and Diana let out a breath that she didn't know she was holding. She hoped that Artemis and Apollo would give Klaus a chance as she didn't actually have any resentment towards him. She had moved on from the incident long ago and was happy with her life. The only thing she didn't like was Hayley. The werewolf's cocky and bitchy attitude annoyed Diana to no ends and Diana wished that she could just kill her. She hoped that Hayley wouldn't stop Klaus or Hope from getting to know the twins

Diana rubbed her face with her hands as she stood up to get more coffee from the kitchen.
