Walking into the lower levels of the school was slightly creepy.  I could smell wolfsbane in the air which was making my wolfs shackles rise slightly.  “You don’t need to worry love your perfectly safe” Christian whispered as he wrapped an arm around me.

Feeling safe I nodded and moved my legs faster to keep up with his long strides.  We approached a thick silver door, and that had a camera on it.  To the right of the door was a security code pad.  Christian entered a few digits and the heavy door unlocked. 

We both entered the wide hallway made of metal.  As we got to the end the hallway split into two, we took the right path and followed it for a few minutes.  Opening the end door lead us to a huge circular room with a large window showing up to 10 rooms that could hold prisoners.  In the middle of the room was a control panel that was currently being looked over by what looks to be security guards.  

As we entered the room Dante walked over to me and I could see the relief rush through his eyes.  As he neared me he stopped suddenly and I noticed his eyes glow a bright blue.  He sniffed the air and growled as he took a step back refusing to look me in the eye. 

What the hell was that about I thought to myself?  I can’t have pissed him off already could I, I literally just walked into the room   

“Thanks for bringing her” he nodded to Christian.  Christian nodded and squeezed me gently.  He let me go and stormed towards one of the windows.  I could see he was holding himself back from phasing into his wolf.  “I’m gonna kill that bastard” he growled as he saw a tall skinny looking man sitting chained to the wall in one of the rooms. 

“You needed me?” I directed my question to Dante as I walked over to Christian rubbing his arm trying to get him to calm down.

“The rouge won’t tell us who sent him, I’m thinking the only alpha command he wont be able to decline would be yours”  Dante said while glaring at the ground.

“Ok, I'm happy to help, but why are you looking like you want to punch the floor for some reason” I asked.

Dante looked over his shoulder and growled at the guards that had stopped what they were doing and were staring intensely at me. 

Looking back at me I could see the desire and then anger in his eyes.  “I didn’t realise you would go into heat this soon, I'm not letting you anywhere need that mutt while you’re in this condition” he growled as he went to open the door we had just entered.

Feeling slightly hurt at his growling and dismissing me so quickly I frowned and crossed my arms angrily. “I’m in heat Dante I'm not pregnant for god’s sake” I said glaring at him.    “You need me to use my skills to get the information out of him and that’s what I'm here to do”

“There is no way in hell I’m going to let you go in there, we all know he is pretty much a sexual predator the minute he smells you he’s gonna go mad with want” Dante growled back at me throwing some of his own Alpha command behind his words. 

“Ok how are we gonna find out who sent him and why” I growled back matching his authority.

“I know if I go in there with you and  Christian you guys wont let him anywhere near me.... and anyways he’s chained up theres nothing he can do” I said as I started looking for a way to get to his room. 

“FINE... but if anything goes wrong in there I'm going to phase and kill him on the spot” Dante growled as he walked towards the door opening it for me. 

“Not before I get a few punches in” Christian said as I saw him crunch his knuckles getting ready for a fight. 

As we walked back through the hallway and off to the left we walked for a few minutes until we got to 10 doors. 

“Thanks for the back up man” Dante growled sarcastically under his breath at Christian.  Christian just chuckled and shook his head.  “You were already in a losing battle there boy, she was always going to win that argument regardless of what you were thinking” he said laughing as we stood back while Dante opened the door.

The door opened revealing the rouge Nick.  Before I could even catch a glimpse of him I could smell his revolting scent.  It was mixed between faeces and dirty old man.  Holding me behind him Dante shielded me from the rouge. 

Christian stood behind me with his hands around my waist inhaling my scent.  I knew it was a calming mechanism; he really wanted to kill Nick.

Nick started sniffing the air with a gross grin on his lips.   I peeped around Dante’s arm looking at the rouge properly.  He was tall and thin, with dark black hair.  He had extremely light blue eyes making him look creepy.  You could tell he had been on the run for a while because he absolutely reeked and had a slightly ferral look to him.

“oooh I warranted a visit from the princess herself” He grinned.  My wolf growled and I felt the skin on the back of my head rise in disgust. 

“Tell me princess, do you taste as divine as you smell” his wolf purred.  The sound of him grated on my nerves. 

Both Christian and Dante growled defensively as they both started yelling at Nick to watch his mouth before they rip it out.

My wolf instantly came forward as I stepped around Dante and stepped up to Nick directly.  Feeling the warmth of power rush through my body my eyes started glowing as the power of my alpha came through.

“Who sent you?” I said not losing eye contact with the rogue.

I watched as the power of my command weighed heavily on him as he dropped to his knees and looked to the ground instantly.

“I dont know who it was” Nick sneered at the ground.  I could hear his contempt in his voice.

“How did you receive the letter” I asked starting to get pissed off.

“I’d been drinking one night when a guy came up to me asking me if I wanted to earn a bit of money.  I’d been sick of sleeping as a wolf so I said yea why not.  He gave me the package and the address and said once the job was done he would have the money wired to me.  The deal sounded like a easy few bucks so I didn’t ask any questions and I took the envelope and left.  I’ve never seen or heard from him since” he said.

I looked at Dante and nodded.  “He’s telling the truth” I said as I felt the warmth of the alpha power recede.   

Turning back towards Nick I noticed his eyes were now tracing my body.   I saw a smirk tracing his lips as he went to comment.  Before he could say anything I swung my right arm and punched him in the nose, I swung my left and hooked him in the left eye.  As he started groaning trying to catch the blood pouring out of his nose I swung my leg and kicked him in the balls. 

Nick started moaning and rolling around on the ground in pain.  I kneeled down and looked him dead in the eye.  “That was for my best friend Stazey” I said as realisation crossed his face.  Looking up at Christian he finally realised who he was. 

Before anyone could say anything more Christian kicked him smack in the head knocking him out cold.    Turning to look at me he grinned and whispered to me while walking past me.  “God dam that was the hottest thing I have ever seen love”

I looked up at Dante and saw his awe struck face.  “I second that” he said as we all walked out of the cell.

Walking back up to the school my stomach growled like mad.  “Sounds like I need to eat or my wolf is going to go wild and hunt down a deer or something” Dante stopped and gave me a simmering look.  “do you wanna come to the teachers wing and have some dinner with me.  They all know I'm really your guard so it shouldn’t be to weird hanging out with each other, my wolf wants you near him at the moment, he’s pretty on edge.” he asked looking on me with a hopeful smile.

I looked to my right to see Christian frowning slightly.  This situation must be still a little weird for him too I realised.  “What will Christian be doing, he’s gotta eat too” I asked looking back at Dante. 

“Its ok Claud, I actually have some paperwork I need to do, it’s also my responsibility to increase the security measures in our apartment so it would be actually good timing for me to do that.....and it would probably be a good idea that you’re not around a whole lot of horny teenage wolves at the moment, especially when you smell so god dam good” he groaned as he took a big breath of my scent.

I nodded and leant up and kissed his cheek.  “Ok I’ll see you later tonight then.” I said as I looked up into his brown eyes.  He smiled briefly, I couldn’t help but stare at him, he really was hotter then I realised with his dimples, golden brown eyes and heartbreaking smile.

I watched as his gorgeous body walked away from me as my wolf whimpered softly, she really didn’t like being away from him.

I turned towards Dante.  “Come on Professor D, feed me I'm hungry” I laughed as he smirked at me walking towards the teacher’s wing.

As we were walking I couldn’t help but take sneaky glances at him.  Luckily the hallways were pretty much empty as everyone was at dinner.  From the side Dante was chiselled like a walking piece of art.  His 6 ft 3 frame towered over me.  He must of sensed I was looking cause I caught a grin grace his plump lips as we kept walking in a comfortable silence. 

He opened a door to reveal a cafe style dining room.  A few teachers that I hadn’t met but had seen were seated at small round tables.  Instead of having the food on the table like the students did they had more of a buffet style spread in the middle of the room.  Seeing the food my stomach growled again.  

Dante laughed and slipped has hand gently on my back, dipping down his lips were inches away from my ear.  “Go sit down, I know you must be hungry especially after today baby” he whispered so only I could hear. 

I couldn’t help the blush rush up to my cheeks as my wolf purred at the closeness of him.   As I walked to an empty table a most of the teachers smiled politely to me, I did notice a few of the males sniff the air and look at me with like I was a piece of meat.  Those were obviously the unmated male teachers that had noticed me. 

I sat down and waited.  I looked up to see Dante was walking over to me holding two large plates full of food.  He smiled a gorgeous smile as he approached me.  “I didn’t know what you would feel like so I decided to get you a bit of everything”  he said as he placed the food down. 

“Woahhhh thanks” I said as I took in the huge plate of food.  Dante sat down looking at me with his beautiful blue eyes.  I looked up and caught him staring.   Once he realised I was looking back his head darted to his food as he started to look for his knife and fork.  I giggled quietly.  “Crap I forgot our drinks and knives and forks”.  He said as he went to jump up.

I noticed the drink machine was on the other side of the room.  “You grab the knives and forks and ill grab the drinks” I said as I slid out of my chair.   “The machine is a but dodgy if it doesn’t work then give the right hand top corner and slight tap it should spit them out” Dante said with a stupid grin.  “Trust you to know the ins and outs of the school secrets already” I said walking away with a smile.

 As I approached the machine another teacher was growling lowly.  “Stupid piece of crap, just give me my drink” a deep voice said. 

I waited patiently behind the teacher as he tried to get his coke out of the machine.  As soon as my scent hit him I noticed the teacher freeze and inhale quickly.  Turning around I was met with the greenest eyes I had ever seen.  Looking at the teacher completely his black hair was long with a wave to it. It slightly curled around his neck just grazing the tops of his shoulders.  His shirt was covered in splatters of paint and his pants looked like they had caked on clay.   He wasn’t as tall as Dante but was still taller than me.

“Who are you and where on earth did you come from” he purred as he looked at me.  I stood there and raised an eyebrow. 

“Seriously dude your only saying this cause I'm in heat, in about 4 days you’ll be regretting saying that to me” I said as I shook my head knowingly.  He just smiled a hot smile and shook his head.  “You are probably right, but you have to be the most beautiful new teacher I have ever seen, you are here with the prince right, I heard he brought some of his security detail that are acting as teachers”  he said leaning up against the drink machine.  

“And who are you may I ask” I said crossing my arms looking back at him.  I couldn’t help the small smile grace my lips as he realised I wasn’t impressed with his compliment. 

“I am obviously the English teacher” he said with a cheeky grin.  I laughed and shook my head.  “Obviously” I said.  “The name is Beau and I’m the Art’s co-ordinator” he said holding his hand out with a charming smile. 

I smiled and shook his hand.  “I’m Claudette” 

“And what are you doing here Claudette” he said holding onto my hand a moment longer than necessary. 

“Well I was wanting to get a couple of drinks but clearly that machine isn’t co-operating” I said looking past him towards the machine. 

Beau grinned stepped away sweeping his arm towards the machine.  “you’re welcome to give it a try, maybe you have the magic touch”

I walked up to the machine and pressed two cokes.  The machine jarred slightly and the lights started flashing.  Reaching up I tapped the top right corner like Dante had suggested and 3 drinks popped out. 

Reaching down I grabbed the drinks and passed Beau his.  “Looks like I have the magic touch” I said with a cheeky grin and walked towards my table. 

As I approached the table I realised someone was sitting in my seat giggling at Dante.  I sat down on another one of the chairs and opened my drink taking a sip.  The female sitting in my seat totally ignored me as she continued to try and spark an interesting conversation up with my guard.    I looked at Dante and saw him look at me begging for me to save him.  I just smiled and shook my head.  I reached out and grabbed my plate of food and started eating while the blonde women continued to ignore me. 

The chair beside me started to move as I noticed Beau sit down.  “This chair isn’t taken is it” He said placing his food down. 

I looked up at him with my fork midair.  Shoving the hot pasta in my mouth I just shook my head and smiled.  The blonde women noticed Beau instantly and turned around to greet him.  “Oh hey Beau, I'm so glad you sat down, Sarah will be hear any moment she would love to catch up with you about the breakfast tomorrow, she wants a piece of art on display or somthing” She said with an annoying voice. 

Leaning in towards Beau she whispered “Do you mind asking your unfortunate little friend here to find another seat, she’s in Sarah’s spot” she said with a condescending smile.    I turned my head and looked at Dante.  What a rude b*tch she knew I could totally hear that. 

My wolf was only slightly pissed off, she didn’t really care what a snobby teacher thought of her.  Beau looked at me in shock and went to say something.  I just shrugged my shoulders and went to grab my plate to leave.  However before I could say anything Dante growled a deep and threatening growl.  His eyes turned bright blue as he sat on edge. 

“How dare you talk to the princess like that” he said standing up suddenly.  With that everyone in the room instantly quietened down and starting looking at what the hell was going on. 

The blond teacher scowled.  She obviously was annoyed but I could tell she was obviously more furious at me about being embarrassed more than anything.   She plastered the fakest smile on face and looked at Dante “Oh darling I am so sorry, I didn’t realise one of the students was having dinner with us” she turned to me with a smile only a crocodile would love and tilted her head slightly.  “Sorry princess, I didn’t recognise you with what you’re wearing” she said looking at my outfit trying to hold back the distaste. 

I just sat there looking at her.  She crossed her legs and tilted her head the opposite side still holding onto the fake smile waiting for me to accept her apology. 

I continued to look as she sat there slightly squirming at the uncomfortableness of the situation.   “Wow you really are a rude snobby b*tch aren’t you” I said looking at her still.   She narrowed her eyes as her smile slipped off her lips.  “Excuse me young lady, you should really watch your language” she said while rolling her eyes at me. 

“What? You haven’t heard the word b*tch before ‘Darling’ how old are you? I’d say by looking at your wrinkled crow’s feet around your eyes and wrinkles around your neck your about 38” I said looking back at her.

I noticed the vein on the top of her temple bulge at my comment.   Her smiled completely gone now she looked at Beau for some sort of support.  He just raised his eyebrows and sat back watching what was unfolding. 

“Well aren’t you a charming young lady..... and by the way I'm 31 thank you” she said through clenched lips.

I looked at her dead in the eyes and smiled leaning in like I was going to tell her a secret.  “I am normally very charming thank you, however when someone insults me to my face twice in the space of 2 minutes my charm really does go out the window” I said louder then I normally would have said.  

I heard a few sniggers coming from around the room as the blond women’s face went bright red.  She stood up clearing her throat quickly.  “Like I said I didn’t recognise you, however now I know exactly what you look like and trust me I won’t forget, enjoy your lunch, you really must be hungry” she said while she stalked off out of the cafe. 

I looked at Dante with a strained look.  “That women is seriously crazy, and old” I muttered as I started eating again, I noticed conversations started back up around the room after a few chuckles. 

“So little mis beautiful princess, when were you going to tell me who you were, before or after I asked you out” Beau asked leaning forward with a cheeky grin. 

With that Dante completely lost it growling like made while grabbing my hand and dragging me out of the teacher’s cafe.  And that is how I ended up eating eggs on toast for dinner in my apartment with both Dante and Christian on either side.  I officially was looking forward to a huge breakfast tomorrow morning when the other school’s champions arrived.

I know there wasnt much romantic action but it will be in the next few chapters!
