Diana woke up with a small smile. Klaus' hand was draped over her stomach so she turned around to face him. She stared at him for a while, "Staring is rude my love," Klaus said not opening his eyes.

"It's not staring Nikki it's admiring."

"Stop calling me that," Klaus pouted.

"Why can't I call you Nikki," Diana exclaimed as Klaus chuckled.

"I just hate it. But I'll make an exception for you," Klaus leaned down to kiss her lips. Diana smiled into it before pulling away.

"We have to figure out what to do with your mom. So we must get up as much as I don't want to," Klaus groaned in annoyance and tugged on Diana's hand as she tried to get out of their bed. She finally got out of the bed, dressed in Klaus' shirt, and walked into the bathroom. She did what she needed to do and came back out and walked straight back to her room to get clothes.

Klaus came into her room just as she walked out of her closet. He shook his head before taking her back in, "Change."

"No! why?"

"I have brothers in this house and you're mine," Diana smiled at him before kissing him lightly,

"No."

Klaus gave up knowing how stubborn she was, "Did you notice the mark?" She nodded.

When Diana had looked in the mirror she noticed a large silvery line on her shoulder where Klaus had marked her. You wouldn't notice it unless you looked at it closely. Klaus had the same thing on his.

They walked downstairs and stayed in the living room.

Klaus was sketching on a sketch pad and Diana was reading quietly Kol had joined them a little while later immediately asking Diana why she smelled different. She explained to him why and his face scrunched in disgust.

"Well, well, well, there's our girl!" Kol exclaimed as Rebekah walked in and he blocked her from walking any further.

"Get out of my way, Kol," Rebekah said.

"Out all night. What a scandal! I trust you did better than that commoner? Matt was it?"

"If you don't shut your mouth the next thing to come out of it would be your teeth," Rebekah threatened and Diana hid her smile.

"Don't start you two!" Rebekah called.

"I didn't say anything," Klaus shrugged.

"I'm bored. Our sister is a trumpet, but at least she's having fun. I need entertainment," Kol complained.

"Well, what are you waiting for have at it," Klaus spoke up.

"It's not fun to go alone. Join me Nik! It's the least you can do after sticking a dagger in my heart."

"Ok. Why not? I didn't have nearly enough to drink last night, what with you trying to murder Rebekah's date," Klaus said getting up. He leaned down and kissed Diana lightly on the lips as her hellhounds ran in from outside tracking mud into the house.

"Ana, love, tell your dogs to stop tracking mud into the house."

Diana waved her hands and the hounds and carpet were cleaned.

As Klaus and Kol walked to the exit Rebekah called, "Yes, please go, this house has enough men rolling around in it."

"Just like you, Bekah," Kol said laughing and Diana laughed as well as Rebekah threw her shoe at him.

"Good riddance, both of you!"

"So Bex? I know you and Damon slept together but I won't be mad if doppelbitch caught you," Diana smirked evilly and Rebekah laughed.

"She did. As I opened the door she was standing there." They laughed together as Elijah walked in holding burnt sage.

"I'm worried about mother," Diana shushed him as she placed a silencing spell on the room," Have you noticed her strange behaviour?"

"She's been dead for a thousand year. What's strange for her?" Rebekah said the same time Diana put it bluntly.

"She's trying to kill us. Of course, she's going to act strange."

"You know Elena lied to me last night when I asked her," Elijah said throwing the sage in the bin.

"I know she's a manipulative lying bitch. Like Katherine," Diana scowled.

"We need to figure something out. I'm going to talk to Elena again," Elijah said leaving as Rebekah petted Titan and Darius.

"I'm going to go find Nik and Kol I'm bored," Diana said leaving her hounds with Rebekah petting them.

"Ana darling, how wonderful of you to join us," Kol exclaimed seeing her.

Diana sat next to them and ordered bourbon from the bar. Caroline walked in and Kol pointed to her, "I remember her from last night. Ana doesn't like her."

"I do like her. She reminds me of Bex. I said I didn't like her dancing with Nik," Diana glared at him.

"Caroline. Carebear. Can I call you carebear, I will anyway I just wanted to ask. How are you?" Diana said as she passed. The two originals looked confused.

"I'm good Ana. Thanks for asking. Sorry about last night. Klaus persuaded me to come because he said he wanted to make you jealous," Caroline rambled.

Diana smirked, "Thanks Care. But it's fine. He made up for it. Would you like to go shopping with me sometime?"

Caroline sniffed the air around her and her eyes brightened, "That's so sweet. You guys are cute, weird but cute. And I would love to go shopping,"

"Would you like to join us for a drink?" Klaus asked.

"I'd rather die of thirst. Thanks though. See you later Ana, text me when you want to go," Caroline said snarkily.

"Wow. You begged her to help make Ana jealous," Kol smirked, he had been watching the entire time, "But Ana likes her what a twist."

"You know Nikki you need friends. Go try to make friends with her," Diana pushed him forward. He walked off as Diana's phone buzzed, "Rebekah wants me for something tell Nik would you," she said teleporting to the location Rebekah sent.

"What did you want me for," Elena and Rebekah jumped in shock.

"We're going to keep an eye on the doppelganger whilst Elijah finds out what they're planning," Rebekah explained as Diana circled Elena. Fear was radiating off of her in waves.

"Good Gaea Ellen. Try and control your emotions, would you? It negatively affects mine."

Elena looked confused, "I got new power including empathy," Diana explained.

They watched her for a while when a sharp pain flowed through their chest. They gasped and started to desiccate. Elena ran.

Diana groaned and flicked her hand, the desiccation veins withdrew and the two females sped after the doppelganger. They come across a cave and Elena's heartbeat was prominent.

"Elena!" Rebekah called. "Let's pick back up where we left off," Diana smirked and threw gasoline into the cave and some splashed on Elena's coat.

"What are you doing?" Elena gasped.

"We're gonna shake thing up a bit," Diana replied as she threw more and more.

"Are you insane?"

"We prefer spontaneous," Rebekah said, for the two, "That's probably why Damon likes me so much," Rebekah shrugged as Diana laughed at Elena's face. Rebekah took the gasoline container out of Diana's hand and threw it at Elena, who ducked.

"Here's what's gonna happen," Rebekah lit a match and threw it in the cave, "You're gonna come outside," Diana used her magic to make the flames grow, "Or you're gonna stay in the and burn."

Elena backed up from the flames. When they finally died out Diana sighed, "The next match is landing on you," Rebekah said smiling psychotically and filming, "So Elena how does it feel to know that these may be your last moments."

"I don't know you tell me. Your the one whose mother is trying to kill you," Elena breathed. Diana rolled her eyes in annoyance.

"You should be very careful what you say to me."

"You're still wearing her necklace."

"Do you want it. Is that your last request. Here it's all yours," Rebekah spoke tearily whilst Diana comforted her slightly.

"She's not doing it because she hates you, Rebekah. She told me that she - she just doesn't have another choice."

"Spare us your pity, Elena. We're not your girlfriends," Diana spat. "You want us to prove it," Rebekah lit another match, "Just say the word."

Elena breathed heavily, "You're not gonna do it," she said bravely.

"And why's that?" Diana asked.

"Because there's still a chance that you may be alive tomorrow. And if that's the case, and you kill me now, you two would have used up all that pent up revenge. Wasted it. And isn't that what you want, revenge. Because I - I pretended to like you and then I stuck a dagger in your back? That's why you slept with Damon, isn't it? That's why you're tormenting me? Because I hurt your feelings?"

It was silent for a moment and Rebekah put the match down. "The tough act doesn't suit you," she said bitterly.

"I never said I was tough. But we both know that I'm right." Elena said. Diana's head pulsed and Klaus' anger infiltrated. She whispered to Rebekah before teleporting away.

Diana ended up in a clearing and she could see the Mikaelson brothers in the distance with Esther and Finn in a pentagram. She stayed in her place and watched quietly.

"If you've come to plead for your life. I'm sorry. You've wasted your time. " Esther said and Diana rolled her eyes at the woman. Who does she think she is. God.

Esther closed her eyes and breathed deeply, "No sisters do not abandon me!" Diana stepped out of her spot and stalked towards them, her hand alight with red energy.

"Mother!" Finn called out gripping her arm. The flames roared up and they stepped back in shock. The flames stopped and they looked towards where Esther was standing only to find she was gone.

They were now back at the mansion and Diana was sipping bourbon in the library glaring at the flames. The door opened and her hounds came in happily, followed by Klaus. The hound sat at her feet in contentment and Klaus perched on the arm of her chair.

"I'm sorry," Diana spoke up after a moment of silence.

"For what, love?"

"Your mother getting away."

"It's not your fault."

They sat silently by the flames just enjoying each others company.
