023.

DIANA had been in Olympus for quite some time. She socialised with her family and got to know them better. She would often play pranks with Loki and go shopping with Aphrodite. The malls they had for the minor gods and goddesses were pretty extensive so they usually spent the whole day.

She practised magic with her mother and Frigga daily. When she got her mark her powers manifested and she was now more powerful.

With her father and Thor, she practised battle tactics and swordsmanship. She'd met some of Thor's friends and instantly clicked with Sif, they frequently trained together with her father. She even had her own weapons, two kindjals, and two hellhounds that were gifted to her by Hades named Titan and Darius.

She had become quite close with her great uncle Hades and aunt Persephone. Diana usually visited the underworld and ofter played with Cerberus and tortured bad souls with Hades.

Diana sat in her room speed reading through one of the books that were in the library when her parents entered. Titan and Darius, who were at the foothill of her bed, stood up alert.

"Hi."

"Hey we wanted to talk to you," Hecate said.

"Ok, what about," Diana said with a smile.

"Why we sent you away," Ares added.

"Oh, I already know. Because Kronos broke out of Tartarus and a war was brewing," Diana shrugged. They looked at her confused, "I don't know why but ever since the marking my mind has been on autopilot so I know everything. It's weird."

They nodded, "Although I do have a question. When's my birthday?" Diana asked.

"The mundanes would say, March 23rd of 1839," Ares shrugged.

Diana cheered, "That means I'm older than Damon. By four months."

Her parents chuckled and they talked for a bit. Diana was contemplating telling them about what she had decided.

"I'm going back to Mystic Falls," Diana blurted. Her parents went quiet.

"Okay, we'll see you often right?" Hecate questioned.

"Yeah totally. How about I come around every Saturday?" Diana mentioned. They nodded hugging her tightly. Once they left her room Diana started packing and saying her goodbyes.

Diana teleported down to the rainbow bridge.

"Hello Heimdall. I'm going home," She told the gatekeeper.

"It was a pleasure meeting you, Lady Diana," Heimdall said formally. Diana chuckled and stood on the platform. She nodded for Heimdall to turn on the Bifrost and she shot down in rainbow lights and she stood in front of the Mikaelson mansion. One of the souls from the underworld said that Klaus had built a large mansion in Mystic Falls. She had the soul tailing him for quite some time.

She opened the door and called out, "Nik! Oh Gaea, why does it smell like dead bodies in here?" Diana grimaced.

Klaus who was kneeling before his mother, eyes widened, "In here love."

Diana followed his voice and found all of his siblings standing around the room with his mother, "Ohh not so happy family reunion."

Kol sped over to his best friend and hugged her tightly, "Hello Ana. I'm surprised my pesky brother hasn't run you off."

"Oh, he did he's trying to make up for it," Diana smirked.

Esther walked forward, "Who are you?"

"I'm Nik's wife." Diana held her hand out for the woman to shake and when she did she blinked, "Sorry."

She retracted her hand and beckoned her oldest over, "Finn, come I want to talk." The two left and Diana flopped on the couch.

"So what's happened here?"

"Nothing much. The usual." Klaus replied sitting next to her and holding her hand, "What about you? How was Greece?"

"It was amazing?" Diana responded. A rainbow light appeared in the room and Diana sighed. Her parents and two hellhounds appeared. Diana bent down to and they came running over excitedly.

"We didn't expect you to leave so soon. We thought you meant in a few days," Hecate stated in ancient Greek.

"I'm sorry mom but did you really have to flash in here like this," Diana replied laughing.

"We thought you might have been hurt," Ares protested lamely.

"Well, I'm fine."

"Which one is he. I want to threaten him," Ares smirked referring to Klaus.

"The blonde one," Diana told him.

He looked between Klaus and Rebekah cautiously, "There are two blondes."

"The male."

"He's cute," Hecate acknowledged.

"Mom!"

Ares walked over to Klaus, "So you're the mate. You hurt her, I'll make you live in the deepest parts of Tartarus for your afterlife."

"Dad!"

Ares rolled his eyes and stepped back passing her, her two kindjals, "You left these in the armoury. Thor found them."

"Thanks. I'll see you on Saturday. And tell Loki to visit me sometime. I have someone I want him to meet," Diana smiled. They nodded before calling Heimdall and her parents left just as quickly as they came.

Diana turned around to the original family to find them looking stunned. Titan and Darius growled flashing their fiery orange eyes.

"Heal."

They calmed down as she retook her place on the couch, "So what do you want to know?"

They bombarded her with questions and she answered them telling the story from beginning to end.

Diana had just finished telling them about the ball and showing them the House of Olympian marking.

"I've gotta go see my brothers. And gloat to Damon about how I'm 4 months older." Diana said getting up, "I'll probably stay the night so don't wait up for me," she said kissing Klaus on the lips.

She teleported into the Salvatore Boarding house deciding to give them a scare. Sure enough, they were sat in the parlour where she ended up, "Hello little brothers."

Damon and Stefan jumped in surprise before tackling her in a hug, "Ana."

"How was Greece? What did you find out?" Stefan asked.

"Well for one I found out I'm older than Damon," Diana smirked as he pouted in annoyance, "And I found my parents."

"Aren't they supposed to be dead?" Damon said.

"Yes but their Gods so they're immortal. Did you know that the Greek gods and the Norse Gods like each other?" Diana told them what had happened before the door opened.

"Stefan, Damon?" Elena called.

Diana groaned loudly, "You're supposed to be dead. Our lives were supposed to go back to normal."

"Well, I'm alive." Elena sneered.

"Don't be snarky with me doppelganger. I can snap your neck like a twig and not even lift a muscle," Diana snapped.

"Okay we get it you don't like each other cool it," Damon said.

"Well it's not my fault that her mate compelled Stefan to turn his humanity off," Elena mumbled.

Diana's face grew dark, "He did what?" Outside thunder rumbled and lightning struck a tree in the distance. Diana took a deep breath, "I'll deal with him tomorrow. Right now you need to leave. This is sibling bonding time. If I recall you have your own brother and your aunt Jenna."

"Jenna's dead Mikeal killed her. To tease your mate," Elena sneered.

"It's not my fault Mikeal's an ass. Though she'll have a wonderful life in the underworld when she passes on though. Buh-bye" Diana smiled.

Elena scowled and left and the three siblings spent the night eating ice cream, drinking bourbon and watching movies.

Diana stormed into the Mikaelson mansion. She was mad that Klaus went after her brothers even after she told him not to. She found him in the living room, he had just come back from talking with his mother.

She gripped his throat, "What did I tell you when I left. No messing with my brothers. But what did you do? You compelled Stefan to turn his humanity off." Diana dropped him, "For Hera's sake why can't you guys get along. For me."

"He stole my coffin," Klaus argued. The rest of the original family watched in amusement.

"I don't care that he stole your bloody coffin. You hurt him," Diana growled as thunder rumbled outside. Titan and Darius growled at him as well their coats lighting on fire. Diana stopped them before they could do any damage.

She calmed down a bit and turned to the family with a fake smile, "What's going on?"

"We're having a ball. Gala whatever you want to call it," Rebekah replied, "I still have to find a dress so we can go shopping together."

Diana nodded as Kol spoke up, "Ana darling since you and Nik are kind of on the outs at the moment," Klaus growled at his brother, "Would you like to go with me."

"Sure Kol. Why not," Diana smirked, "And Bex let's go I know the perfect place to get a dress."

Diana took her outside and summoned Heimdall, they disappeared and stood in the golden globe-shaped building.

"Thanks, Heimdall." Diana teleported the two into Aphrodite's room.

"Aphie! Aphie!"

"In the closet," she called back.

Diana opened the door and walked into the large closet. Rebekah looked around in awe, "Ana what are you doing here? You're not supposed to be here until Saturday?" Aphrodite asked looking at her in confusion.

"Well the Mikealson's are having a ball so Bex and I need a dress. I was hoping we could go shopping."

Aphrodite nodded as Diana introduced her to Rebekah. They went shopping and got their hair and nails done. By the time it was ready to go to the ball the girls were back on earth and in their rooms.

Diana wore a gold strapless dress with gold heels.

And Rebekah wore a deep green dress with silver heels. They had found them in one of the Olympian malls after they had been to Asgard first because Aphrodite said their malls were better.

Diana exited her room and walked down the long corridor until she saw Kol stood by the stairs waiting, looking at the guests.

He turned to look at her, hearing footsteps, "You look, beautiful darling."

"You don't look too bad yourself, Mr Mikealason," Diana teased as they descended the stairs to socialize. They saw her brother talking with mayor Lockwood and Diana pulled Kol over.

"Hi mayor Lockwood," Diana greeted.

"Diana. You look beautiful," Carol exclaimed, Diana, thanked her as she grabbed a flute of champagne from a nearby waiter and Kol introduced himself.

"Mayor Lockwood. We haven't formally met Kol Mikealson. We hope your lovely town embraces us just as much as we plan to embrace it" he kissed her hand before Damon interrupted.

"Damon Salvatore. Have we met?"

"I've met a lot of people. You don't particularly stand out," Diana choked on her champagne as Kol lead her away.

They talked for a bit and then Elijah called them over to stand on the stairs.

"Welcome. Thank you for joining us. You know, whenever my mother brings our family together like this, it's tradition for us to commence the evening with a dance. Tonight's pick is a century-old waltz. So if all of you could please find yourselves a partner. Please join us in the ballroom."

The music started and Diana dance with Kol. Diana looked over at Klaus and scowled when she saw him dancing with Caroline. Just because she liked the girl didn't mean she wouldn't kill her for being with her mate.

"Stop staring at my brother. We're switching now anyway, "Kol commented before twirling her into the arms of Klaus.

"Speak of the devil," Diana muttered in Greek.

"How's my brother?" Klaus smirked.

"How's Caroline?"

"She's doing quite well. Wonderful girl," Klaus teased.

"You see I know you're doing this to make me mad. And I so desperately wish I could say it didn't affect me. But I can't so," Diana replied dragging him off the dance floor into a secluded area.

"Why are you doing this to me?" Diana demanded.

"I'm not doing anything love."

Diana groaned before pressing her lips to his. He responded immediately by gripping her hips and pulling her closer. Diana groaned as she pulled away.

"Just because I had a momentary lapse of weakness doesn't mean I'm not mad at you," Diana conjured a mirror and fixed her hair and makeup before storming off, leaving an amused Klaus.

Diana turned the corner and saw Finn exit a room Elena just entered. She found it suspicious so she sped up to him and placed her fingers on his head trapping him in a trance.

Her fingers glowed red as she flicked through his recent memories gasping at what she saw. She warped his mind to forget that she was there and swiftly went to look for the rest of the family.

She rushed around finding Rebekah and Kol first, then Klaus and finally Elijah. She grabbed his hand and dragged him into the living room much like she did to the others and closed the door.

"What is this about love?" Klaus commanded.

"Give me a minute," Diana cast a silencing spell on the room, "Your mother's trying to kill you."

"What!" All three originals shouted.

"Lies. She said she wanted to be a family," Rebekah protested.

"Yeah. Well, I just went through your brother's head and by the way weirdo. And I saw flashes of her telling him that she wanted to speak to Elena to discuss killing us all."

"Why you?" Elijah inquired.

"Because I'm Nik's mate she thinks I'll go feral and kill her."

They nodded, "What exactly did you see. Diana, did you see how she said she was going to do it?" Elijah said.

"No, it just flashed by after that. A pentagram, fire and champagne glass," Diana sighed. She pinched the bridge of her nose in realization, "She's gonna spike the champagne."

"But how?" Kol asked.

"Elena's blood. That's why she wanted Elena," Diana figured.

"What do we do?" Klaus asked.

"Drink it," Diana said blankly thinking of a plan. They protested, "If we drink it and she links us when she does the spell. I can kill her."

They all nodded before walking out and pretending nothing happened. They grabbed the champagne that was being served and Elijah went to talk to Elena.

"Good evening ladies and gentlemen. I'd like to thank you all for being a part of this spectacular evening. Cheers," Esther said. The people drank the champagne and Diana grimaced at the taste.

The night went on without much problem. Except for Kol and Damon getting in a fight, the night was calm.

Diana was trying to unzip the dress when it caught on her skin lightly. She gasped in pain as Klaus entered her room.

"Do you need some help?"

"Please. The zipper's caught on my skin."

Klaus moved her straightened hair out of the way and kissed her shoulders lightly. "I thought you were helping me." Diana groaned.

"I am," The zipper came undone and Klaus smirked, "That was a distraction."

"Stay with me tonight," Klaus demanded. Diana contemplated it before nodding. Klaus left as she changed and she went to his room. He was spread on the bed with a sketchbook in his hands.

"What are you drawing now?"

"You." He showed her the drawing and it was her in the dress she wore earlier. She chuckled before laying down next to him.

He set the drawing aside and turned. They stared at each other quietly. Klaus brushed a hair away from her face gently and as his fingers brushed her neck she swallowed thickly. No matter how long they were away from each other, he would always have the same effect on her, and he knew it.

Diana let out a light breath before Klaus slowly came forward and pressed his lips to hers. The kiss was slow and gentle but conveyed the apologies that he felt.

As their lips moved together the kiss changed. It went from apologetic to passionate in a split second. And in that split second, Klaus shifted her so she was straddling him. She flipped her hair over her shoulder to pepper kisses down his neck and she felt Klaus' fingers tighten around her hips in response.

Diana felt her fangs protrude from her gums and slowly dragged them over his skin. He shuddered underneath her and she smirked, "Stop that," he said.

"Why?" she kissed his neck again.

Klaus flipped them over so he was kneeling in between her legs. Diana could see the golden glint of his eyes and the veins running below them. He buried his head in her neck and ran his own fangs over her neck. She whimpered slightly before he bit down. Pain quickly turned into pleasure as ecstasy washed over her.

Klaus pulled away and she looked up at him in her daze. The bright gold had darkened to a rusty gold and he was breathing heavily. Diana sat up quickly, connecting their lips once more.

Klaus' fingers roamed her skin igniting fires that had long ago dimmed. Diana tugged at his shirt and he complied, pulling it over his head and tossing it to a random part of the room. He then did the same to hers, throwing it away.

Diana kissed his lips pulling him back down as her back hit the bed.
