022.
DIANA arrived in Greece two days ago. When she landed at the airport she immediately bought two other maps. One to get an exact location of where her relatives lived and another to highlight where because she didn't want blood on the map she was going to carry around.
She found herself in Argos and she was driving towards where her blood had stopped. She finally came up to the place after about thirty minutes and was pissed.
She got out of the car and looked up at the old church in anger. "Are you joking? It's a church! In the middle of nowhere!" Diana exclaimed throwing her hands up in anger.
She calmed herself thinking that maybe they converted the inside into a house. She hoped. She walked up to the doors and pulled on the handle. It wouldn't move. She jiggled it a bit before stepping back and kicking the door down.
"Who are you and why did you kick my door down," Diana jumped and looked towards where the voice came from. The church had a balcony and standing on it was a man. He looked to be in his mid-thirties. He had chestnut hair that was fixed wildly, a long scar running down the side of his face and a thick greek accent.
"Yeah. Sorry, it was locked," Diana said carelessly, "I'll pay for it. But that doesn't matter. I'm looking for someone. My 'contact' said they lived here." She looked around and scowled. Dust was covering every surface and it looked quite unsanitary.
"What's your name?"
"Diana."
The man's eyes momentarily widened and he hurriedly got something from what she assumed was an office before he walked down, stairs that were situated to the side.
He clutched a black powder in his hands as he came up in front of her and blew it in her face. Diana dropped and he picked her up before she could hit the floor. He carried her over to the altar where a symbol of a dragon wrapped around a dagger was engraved into the floor. He stood on the engraving and disappeared in a rainbow flash.

Diana awoke with a groan. Her head pounded and the last thing she remembered was the strange churchman blowing a black powder in her face.
She sat up quickly noticing she was in an expensive-looking bedroom. The walls were coated in gold shimmery paint and the ceiling had a detailed painting of Zeus. Diana looked around before the door across the room opened and a woman with long brown hair waltzed in.
"Oh you're awake," She exclaimed before running out of the room. Diana sat in shock as two others walked in right after. A man and a woman.
A woman with raven hair smiled widely as she hurriedly sat on the bed. "Hi."
"Who are you, people and why do I feel like I got hit by a truck," Diana growled.
"That would be the volcanic ash. Sorry, we've never had this type of thing happen before so Aegeus didn't know how much would knock you out. Don't worry it won't happen again, only we know what it is," The woman explained.
"Ok I'm going to know who you are and what you want with me in the next ten seconds or this room would be coated in your blood."
The woman turned to the man, "She gets it from you," she looked back at Diana with a large smile, "We're your parents."
Diana laughed, "Ok I don't know what game you're playing but my parents are long dead."
The man groaned impatiently, "You've been having dreams of us ever since you found out you were adopted. The most recent one happened before your first transformation. It was the memory of when we sent you away."
Diana looked between them unsure. She was conflicted, they knew what her dreams were about and even knew about her shifting in the woods. She looked closely and saw some similarities, she clearly got her greeny-blue eyes from her father and her nose from her mother.
"Ok, this is crazy. I don't even know your names."
"This is gonna sound even crazier but that's Ares," The lady pointed at the man, "I'm Hecate."
"Like the Greek God and Goddess," Diana looked sceptical.
"That's us. That means you're a greek goddess," Ares smirked.
"Ares!"
Diana buried her face in her hands and sighed, "So you're my parents... And you're Greek Gods... Great."
"Sorry, you had to find out from that idiot," Hecate smiled sympathetically, "But it's night time down on earth so you should probably get some rest. We'll talk tomorrow." Diana simply nodded and settled back into the comfortable bed.
"We don't sleep so if you need anything we'll probably be in the kitchen or in the office. Just ask one of the maids where that is and they'll show you," Ares smiled.
"Wait where am I?" Diana called.
"Olympus," Hecate responded.
Diana smiled weakly at them as they walked out of the room. She didn't even go to sleep choosing to take her mind off the parent situation by exploring the room she was in.
She opened a random door and was shocked by the spacious bathroom. There was a bath and a shower and a large counter with different scented shampoos conditioners and soaps lining it. She picked one up and sniffed it and the sweet smell of strawberry, filled her nose.
Diana re-entered the bedroom after smelling the rest of the bottles on the counter and opened another door. She found an extensive closet with a large number of clothes.
She exited the closet flipping off the switch deciding to try to get some sleep. She stopped short when she saw the window. She drew the curtains and gasped at the sight. From her room, she had a good view of Olympus. She seemed to be in a castle that looked over a city where she assumed the other gods lived. A long rainbow bridge came all the way through towards the city and at the bottom of it stood a golden semicircle.
The bridge stood over a large endless waterfall that shimmered in the light. Pod like things flew around the city at a fast pace and some even landed on a landing pad in front of the palace. Diana's room seemed to be at the top of the castle because she could see people standing below her on their balcony. She looked to her left and noticed she had one of her own. She breathed deeply, swiftly shutting the curtains and jumping on the bed making herself comfortable.
She finally drifted off to sleep dreaming of her parents and what looked like a war.

Diana was awoken by her curtains being opened widely and the sun streaming through and hitting her face harshly. She groaned in annoyance and chuckles sounded around the room.
She sat up quickly balls of magic surrounding her hands. The two people in her room put theirs up in defence and she lowered hers flopping back on the bed with a sigh.
"Who are you?" Diana noticed the woman was the same one that came into the room before running out yesterday.
"I'm Aphrodite that's Loki," The woman said as the man waved his fingers at her.
"The Greek and Norse Gods like each other," Diana said amused.
"Who said we didn't darling?" Loki chuckled.
"I just thought... Never mind."
"Doesn't matter. We're having a ball in light of your arrival. So we need to find you a dress, shoes, jewellery get your hair done, makeup and nails so there's a lot to do," Aphrodite rambled.
"Woah. Woah. Woah. Hold up. Ball? Trust me I'm not that special," Diana said.
"Yes, you are. You're one of the Children of Chaos. The prophecy says we need to celebrate them," Loki explained.
"Children of Chaos."
"Yep, the Scarlet witch and the Kraken witch. Both having the powers of Chaos magic and children of Chaos himself." Aphrodite elaborated.
Diana nodded, "Which one am I?"
"The Kraken witch, you're from the Greek side whilst the Scarlet witch is from the Norse."
Diana nodded again thinking about what she just heard. The door opened again and a human maid came in followed by her parents.
The maid timidly placed the tray she was holding next to Diana, "H-here y-you g-go y-your majesty."
"Oh please don't be afraid of me. You're like the only normal person I've seen in the last 24 hours."
A series of shouts came from the people in front of her, "Sorry."
The woman nodded as Diana smiled at her and she left.
"How come she's human?"
"She's not alive. She's one of Hades' souls. You'll visit the underworld soon though. Hades said he had a present for you," Hecate stated shrugging.
"So daughter of mine. I got heads on the coin so you're spending the day with me." Ares smirked.
"Ok, what are we doing?"
"Well I'm the God of War so it'll be training," Diana nodded as everyone exited. She hopped into the bathroom surprisingly happy that she had found some type of family. She grabbed the strawberry shampoo and conditioner she sniffed last night along with the matching soap and rested them in the shower. She looked confused at the handles and buttons before pulling and pushing random ones until the water was hot.
After her shower, she went into the closet and pulled on appropriate work out gear before a knock sounded at her door. Skipping out of the closet she opened the door and the same man from yesterday stood in front of her. She scowled at him.
"I've been selected to escort you to where master Ares will be training with you," he said in a monotone voice.
She closed the door behind her and followed him down the golden hallways passing people on her way there who stopped and stared at her. Some even bowed before she told them not to.
They finally stopped and the man pushed open a set of large double doors leading outside. A small field resonated there and a small crowd was off to the side. Diana took a deep breath and walked up to her father who was chatting with a man with long blonde hair.
"Hello father," she smiled.
Ares felt joy blossom in his heart, "I see you've accepted it."
"Well, Lillian and Gusippe were kind of crappy. So... I thought I'd give you and mom a chance."
Ares chuckled before looking at the man in front of him, "Diana this is Thor. Another of Odin's sons. You met Loki earlier,"
Diana held out her hand for him to shake but he kissed it instead.
"It's an honour to meet you, Lady Diana. I hope we'll be seeing more of each other," Thor smirked as Ares rolled his eyes and Diana resisted rolling hers.
"I'm married."
"It's always the pretty ones," Thor mumbled walking off towards his brother who was laughing.
"So. You're going to watch me battle Thor and then I'm going to battle you," Ares told her. A sword materialised in his hand and Diana nodded stepping to the side next to Aphrodite and her mother.
Thor went back over to her father and placed a golden helmet over his long hair before they bowed to each other. They got into fighting positions and when a horn sounded their swords clashed loudly.
Diana noticed how her father stepped onto his right foot before attacking and made a mental note to use that later.
The duel carried on for a while before Ares won. They all clapped and Diana stood in front of her father, "So how do I get a sword to materialize like you did?"
"Hold out your hand and think about it."
Diana did as told and a sword with a shiny golden handle appeared in her hand.
"Prepare to lose," Ares smirked.
"I think you should be," Diana joked getting into a fighting position like her father. The horn sounded and Ares attacked first. Diana blocked before turning and kicking him in the chest causing him to go flying. He landed on his feet.
"I was going to go easy on you. I don't think I will."
He ran at her and jumped bringing his sword down and Diana slid under him cutting his leg. Blood spewed out of the wound before it healed. Diana had to look twice because his blood wasn't red it was gold.
"Your blood colour is gold," Diana panted.
"It's not blood it's Χρυσός which is Greek for pure gold. I'll explain it later." Ares replied.
Diana nodded as he attacked once again but Diana saw it coming she swept his left leg as he stepped on his right, effectively knocking him to the ground. Her sword was pointed at his throat and she chuckled, "You step on your right when you attack."
Ares smirked before he swept her and she landed next to him, "And you need to pay attention to your opponent."
Diana chuckled as he helped her up and the people on the side clapped. The duels carried on for a while, Diana against her father and Diana against Thor. The sun started setting and Aphrodite dragged Diana back to her room.
"We need to do a lot of stuff. We only have four hours until the ball," Aphrodite stressed.
"Calm down Aphie." Diana said, "Can I call you that?"
Aphrodite nodded with a smile before she started working on Diana like she was a barbie doll.
"Hey how come my dad's blood was gold?"
"Oh, it happens when we get marked by the symbol of our house. The Odinsdottir house has the mark of a snake wrapped around a sword. And the house of Olympians has the mark of a dragon wrapped around a sword. We both have swords to represent our unity. Then you cut your hand and let your blood mix in with our which magically turns into pure gold. But don't sell it," Aphrodite explained, "You're getting yours tonight. Along with your crown."
"Ok, the mark bit I get but a crown?"
"It symbolises our importance. It means we would be able to go into certain places of the palace and ensures our spot on the council. We get it at our making ceremony and it would be the same colour as your dress that you wore that day. Mine was gold."
"Council?"
"The council make all the important decisions for Olympus, the Underworld, the Nine Realms and Atlantis. Although Asgard and Olympus look pretty similar but their not the same." Diana simply nodded.
"What about weaknesses and death per se?"
"Well we can only die by iron forged from the core of the underworld and our weakness is volcanic ash from a volcano in the underworld."
"What else do I need to know?"
"Well, our powers depend on what we're the god or goddess of. We're basically like vampires really. Heightened speed and strength, heightened senses, all gods have brains wired for battle. Some more than others, so it makes them dyslexic but we've found ways around that."
When you get marked you'll get all those battle tactics and information about our history. Oh! And when you get marked a puff of smoke comes out of the bowl your blood dripped into and tells us what your the goddess of," Aphrodite explained fully.
Diana wondered what she would be the goddess of. She was excited to be a part of this family even though it meant that she wouldn't fully be a Salvatore, but she knew she would always be one inside.
◊◊◊◊◊◊◊
Diana was dressed in a blood-red dress that hugged her curves. The dress had a floral bodice with floral designs on the layers of the dress. Aphrodite, who had gotten dressed in Diana's room wore a black dress with a slit going down the side. They both had smoky eye make-up done and Diana was applying a gloss over her rose gold lips in the bathroom.
When Diana exited she saw Aphrodite place a gold crown on her head and fix it in the mirror. She and Aphrodite left her room and Diana followed her towards the ballroom.
The most important gods and goddesses of both houses were lined up in front of a door. Hecate smiled at her daughter and complimented her before she was announced so she walked out. The gods and goddesses walked out one by one and Diana was last. She took in a deep breath.
"Lady Diana Olympian," the announced said. The door opened in front of her and she stepped out. The crowd below a set of stairs gasped excitedly and she descended the stairs trying very hard not to trip down them.
Diana's parents stood at the bottom waiting for her and Ares linked his arm with hers.
"The proper ceremony will happen in a few moments but first we have a dance," he explained.
"You'll be dancing with Thor. Go," Hecate pushed her forward lightly and Thor took her hands in his just as the music started.
"You look beautiful."
"Thanks." She responded with narrowed eyes.
"Relax sweetheart. You're married I know. That doesn't mean I can't compliment you as a friend. Who is this guy anyway? Is he from Midgard?"
"Midgard?"
"Earth. Is he human?"
"Oh good Gaea no. He's a hybrid. He's my mate," Diana said, Thor nodded and they talked until the song ended. He escorted her onto a stage where the rest of the gods and goddesses stood smiling.
An old man asked her where she wanted her marking and she shifted her curled hair exposing her shoulder. The man placed a small pad on her shoulder. A flash came from it and Diana looked at it to see a blue dragon curled around a sword. The man took her hand and cut it over a gold bowl with gold liquid swishing around inside. Her blood dropped into it and it sparked fusing together until there was no more red to be seen. A small puff of smoke came out of the bowl, Goddess of Manipulation, Lies, Battle and Shapeshifting.
Diana's eyes seemed to get sharper and her mind exploded with Greek and Norse mythology knowledge. She felt herself become physically stronger and faster. The feeling wore off and the crowd clapped.
A red crown was placed on her head and music started again. Diana was introduced to the rest of the gods and goddesses and the rest of the night was spent socialising and dancing.
