You may say that the bond a father and son has is unbreakable. That it has a tie that could never be undone. If you do, I suggest you take a raincheck, because that very idea will be tested, and you may be surprised. So please, ready your popcorn and your 3D glasses, because you sure are in for a ride.
We begin with our favorite heroes running toward their sworn enemy, Hawkmoth, their purpose solely to end what he had started. Their feet moved too fast to even see, and their teeth were clenched tightly together.
Hawkmoth of course waited until the bug and the cat were less than ten yards away before jumping away. This, of course, caught the two off guard and they abruptly stopped for a second.
The villain smirked, the evil in his eyes growing darker and darker as every moment passed. Ladybug and Chat Noir took one look at each other, nodded, then took off in two separate directions. The spotted bug tossed her yo-yo, wrapping it around a far away candle holder on the wall of the palace hall, and swung toward Hawkmoth. On the other hand, Chat extended his silver pole, launching himself on the opposite side of his enemy.
Basically, the superheroes were quickly cornering on Hawkmoth. Then again, the supervillain knew something LB and CN did not. He lifted his scepter up to eye-level, and pressed the top of the clear dome that was delicately placed on top. Suddenly, Hawkmoth wasn't where he was before.
He had somehow teleported to the other side of the hall, much to his opponents' surprise. They both landed next each other, almost colliding, and gripped their weapons tightly.
Ladybug quickly ran over to him once more, and it was just before Hawkmoth could teleport again. Instead of participating in hand on hand combat she went with her signature move:
The red and black superheroine slid between Hawkmoth's legs while simultaneously wrapping her yo-yo around his foot, catching him off guard. She hopped up after she was completely out from under Hawkmoth, and tied the rest of the string from her yo-yo around an indoor lamppost.
He looked around in confusion, and was suddenly off his feet and sliding across the floor. Ladybug, obviously, was tightening the rope, causing Hawkmoth to be pulled to the lamp.
Chat Noir was now by his partner's side, hands on his hips.
"Looks like someone's out of luck," he said smirking. Hawkmoth was now tied against the post, but honestly didn't feel that worried.
"Actually, I've got a lot more than you think," the villain's deep voice said, a hint of amusement in his tone. Then will a light tap on the top of his scepter, he was gone.
A shocked expression appeared almost instantly on Chat and Ladybug's face as they looked at the yo-yo - which was now empty of any human being what so ever.
"I've been waiting almost two years for this fight, and this is all of you've got? Pity," Hawkmoth said from right behind the heroes. He began to reach for Ladybug's earrings and Chat Noir's ring.
"That's where you're wrong," Ladybug whispered. "We're just getting started." At the same time, the bug and cat team whipped around in an instant, weapons twirling in hand, blocking a what Hawkmoth was initially trying to do.
He was taken aback, and fell down to the floor a good ten yards away. This gave Ladybug the perfect amount of time for her,
"Lucky Charm!"
Tossing her yo-yo directly above her, she shouted two words that had a true power to them. Then, out of nowhere a small paperclip and a spool of thread appeared just above her weapon. It dropped down to her hands and she frowned.
"What am I supposed to do with this?" Ladybug asked rhetorically. (A/N Is anyone else bothered by how much she says that or is it just me? Like don't get me wrong, I love her and everything but she says that a lil' too much if you ask me, ya know?)
Her vision changed from colorful to black and white, that was what she needed to defeat Hawkmoth would be revealed to her in a ladybug spotted print. She narrowed her eyes and searched for her necessary objects and people.
The first thing that appeared as black and red was Chat Noir, then a nearby wall, and finally, Hawkmoth's broach and scepter.
That's it! Ladybug thought, and smiled wryly.
She whispered to Chat Noir, "Distract Hawkmoth, and try to take away his scepter. I'll do the rest."
Her partner nodded his head and ran over to the now standing Hawkmoth. He began meowing and bouncing all around his opponent, which somehow worked. Although the notion began to die down and Hawkmoth was no longer distracted by the silly black cat. This was something Chat noticed so he resorted to a real, fist-fight.
While this went down Ladybug was beginning to execute her plan. First, she attached the paperclip to the thread and tied a knot. After, she began to spin it like how she does with her yo-yo and took off in a sprint. Though, it wasn't on the ground, oh no, she was running on the nearby wall.
It was supposedly a surprise attack, because of course Chat and Hawkmoth were engrossed with their cat-fight quarrel. She soon landed behind the two, still going unnoticed. The corners of her mouth turned into a sly smile as she quickly swung the paperclip on string.
It light clipped one of the wings of the broach, and after Ladybug feeling satisfied with the security of it, she tugged. Somehow, someway, it broke off his suit, and another bright flash of purple temporarily blinded the two heroic partners once more.
In the place of Hawkmoth, Gabriel Agreste stood still, finally finished with his fight. Like always, Chat Noir walked over to his partner and they fist bumped, shouting, "Pound it!"
(A/N Welp, I think I suck at writing fight scenes, but it can't be that bad for my first one, right? Anyway, I hope you enjoyed part 2! See you in the next chapter, loves! Bye)
