Chapter Twenty One; All is fair in love and war.
I winced as I held my side, among the fighting when Big Bang had finally launched their attack, I had taken a knife to the side and it was excruciating at the moment.
"Boys?" I croaked out, stepping over the small pools of blood from other people who were injured and have been rushed back to their safe houses once the fighting ceased. The blood seeped slowly through my fingers as I breathed heavily. The plan was for me to remain near one of them at least at all times so if my fight turned as sour as we were expecting it to, one of them would be there to help out.
"Min?" I heard a gasp and there I saw Jungkook a little to the right of me, covered in blood and panting, but not seeming to be injured at all. Once I had seen one of the familiar faces, the tears poured and the pain seemed to amplify and my knees buckled slightly and he darted forwards, catching me in his arms. "Shit, where did you go? You were told to stay by us!"
"I lost sight of you..." I whimpered softly. "It hurts Jungkook..."
"I know, just don't let it get the best of you okay?" With that I nodded slightly more pathetically than I would've liked to, and he gently lifted me, a small yelp leaving my lips when my side moved too much. He sighed gently. "I'm being as gentle as possible, I'm sorry."
"Jungkook? Who's in your arms?" Seokjin's voice filled your ears. "Is that- Min!" He jogged forwards, eyes glued to the blood dripping from my side. "What happened?"
"I was stabbed..." I croaked softly, closing my eyes slowly.
"Don't close your eyes okay? Yoongi get the car!" He yelled out. I fought the tiredness that was causing my eyes to try and close.
The next I knew was that I was in the car, head on someone's lap.
"Keep your eyes open for me. Okay?" The familiar voice of Namjoon filled my ears. I nodded, whining when a pressure that wasn't from my own hand was applied to my side and my eyes fluttered back closed. The last thing I remember was Namjoon's eyes holding mine with such worry.
A week had passed, and I had been stitched up and I was mostly healed. I couldn't train in case I split the stitches, and I was too weak after loosing such a vast amount of blood that day.
"Are you ready?" Jimin lent in the doorway, eyes holding mine in the full length mirror. I smoothed out the skirt part of the black evening dress. The top was a black floral net, that covered a nude piece of material underneath, and the skirt was several long flowing layers with a slit up to the top of the thigh leaving quite a bit of skin left uncovered. "You look stunning."
"Thank you. I don't understand why I need to wear something so elegant though?" I turned to face him, seeing him stood there in a tuxedo.
"Because, I'm not meant to tell you this by the way, we're going to a five star restaurant to celebrate your recovery and to celebrate the fact we won." Jimin smiled. "Hence we're in tuxedos."
He wasn't lying when he said the place was a five star restaurant. The candles set such a comforting and slightly romantic atmosphere, or I imagined it would feel romantic if I weren't here with several men in a big group. The place was near silent apart from the chatter on our table, and even then the volume of that chatter was kept low.
Or at least the volume was kept low until everyone had had a couple of drinks, and it was everyone but Namjoon and myself who were drunk. I didn't want to drink as it wasn't something I enjoyed, and I wasn't sure why Namjoon had only had the glass of champagne.
Hoseok's hand was on the small of my back, as his knees brushed against mine occasionally.
"You look amazing." He mumbled, lips brushing against my ear. "I think you'd look better if that dress was on my bedroom floor though."
In the car home, all the men were bubbly and laughing except Namjoon. "Namjoon, are you okay?"
"I don't know. Why don't you ask Hoseok?" He spat, taking me back by surprise with his venomous tone. I then realised why his tone was such, and a smirk played on my lips as I lent in closer to him.
"Is someone jealous?"
"Continue with that act, and I'll show you." He muttered, the tone changing again completely.
"Oh, please do enlighten me."
"Pull over here driver. We're going to walk the rest of the way." Namjoon announced and the driver pulled over immediately. "Make sure the rest of these drunken fools get home safe. I'll text you later Seokjin."
Namjoon opened the door, climbing out the car and taking my hand and taking me with him. "Why aren't we staying in the car?"
"Because, I suddenly decided that a hotel would be much nicer than staying at home with those drunk men." His eyes dropped down to you. "Plus, now I can enlighten you like you asked, without any noise complaints from them." His hand stayed on my lower back but he pulled me flush against his body and I gulped. "Don't you agree?" I couldn't form the words, already feeling the butterflies erupt, so I simply nodded and he smirked. "Good, let's get going then."
