If you met Odette in the village, she is the sweetest thing you ever met. She's helpful and beautiful, some would say and her bakery is the best in town.

She was now on a delivery. Fresh baked cookies and mini cakes, but it was a lot so she was trying to be careful.

"Hello, Miss Odette!" Says the newsman."Need help with that?"

"No, thank you," Odette says happily."I can deal with everything." She walks past the newsman and continues to her delivery.

This women is Odette, very beautiful woman, who is the talk of the town because of her kind nature and her outstanding beauty. Everyone loves her.

"Good evening, Miss Odette! It seems you have my delivery." Said the old women by the forest, who was walking with her cane."Come in, please dear? I want to see your lovely Dance again."

Odette smiles and enters the house."How is everything, Miss Penelope?"

Penelope smiles at the young women."Just glad you have my delivery. And I'm happy to see you again. I hope my deliveries didn't strain those muscles of yours."

"Only a little but I'm always happy to deliver."

"You don't mind if you dance a little for me? I know you don't like to but it puts me at ease.."

Odette smiles at the old women in front of her and closes the door."The Usual?" She ask, ready to dance.

"Oh please!" Penelope says in delight, sitting in her chair.

Odette smiles as she starts, imagining the music in her head, starting slowly but goes a little faster as her toes start to lead her.

She always thinks of this dance in her dreams. She adores it.

The first dance she was taught before she stopped to help her family.

"Oh my, Odette! You always know your steps!" Penelope says, clapping.

Odette stops and curtseys."Thank you."

"Got you!! Flithy animal!"

Odette jumps and the old women sighs in dismay.

"Those huntsmen..they never know when to stop.."

Odette exits the house to see a unicorn, bound by the neck by a few huntsmen, greedy people indeed.

Odette walks forward, silently, watching.

"Can wait to mount this on our wall!"

The unicorn growls and struggles again.

The 1st huntsman raised his sword to attack until Odette came by and grabs the sword by his hand.

"Don't you have any decent manners! They are part of our world and this is how you treat them?!" Odette snapped, causing the other huntsmen to look and stop in confusion.

Fortunately, the unicorn got lease of the men's grip and gallops away to the woods.

Odette huffs and shoves the sword back to the huntsmen. "Now, leave before our guards come by."

The men leave immediately, leaving nothing in sight.

Odette sighs and walks back to the old lady, who paid her 400 G, an extra 20 for her brave act.

"Now go, sweet pea!"

Odette smiles and walks back to her families bakery."Papa? Are you here?"

"In here!" Cried her father in the kitchen.

Odette smiles and walks over and hugs him.

"How's my sweet sunrise?" He ask, looking at his daughter.

"Fantastic, Papa." Then tells him the recent events.

"My, My, you surprise me when your great deeds everyday, Odette!"

Odette shyly looks down and smiles.

"I'm not sure of it's really a unicorn however...I just hope their ok."

"The unicorn,you mean?"

"Yes."

Odette continues with her deliveries and was sitting by the fountain for relaxation.

Till the corner of her eye, she sees the unicorn, staring at her, which made her look at the unicorn back.

The unicorn still had the rope and starts to trot away.

Odette noticed and secretly follows, watching the unicorn go near a waterfall.

Odette gulps as she puts her feet on the huge log in order to go past it.

She was fast and agile. She enters the cave before the cave shockingly closed behind her.

Odette sighs and follows the unicorn till she couldn't find it.

She looks till she bumps into it, trying to escape the grip of a tree.

"Wait.." Odette said softly, trying to untie it."Ugh! It's stuck.."

"Now find something to cut it!"

Odette stops in a moment and slowly turns to the unicorn, who looked back."Oh right, animals don't talk to humans, huh?"

"N-No..." Odette answered softly."I'm sorry, I'll find something...what's your name?"

"Amethyst.." The unicorn grumbled.

"I'll find something to cut the rope."

Odette walks around the forest, looking for sharp rocks. Till she saw a bright object that catch her eye.

A beautiful pink jewel in between big rocks.

She walks towards it and takes it effortlessly and walks back to Amethyst.

"I found something!"

Odette took the rope and starts to cut the rope.

"Where did you get that?" Amethyst gasp, looking at the gem in Odette's hands.

"By the waterfall....why?"

"Well, it's jammed to the wall, no one could get it out."

"But I got it so effortlessly, that I thought it was left there." Odette explains."It felt nothing against my fingers."

"You need to come with me!"Amethyst gasp."Now."

Amethyst pushes Odette to a beautiful lake, animals around it, and starred at the blue haired maiden in front of them.

"Wow!! What do we have here?!" Gasped a skunk as she crawls Odette's feet.

"Oh! You all talk too?" Odette gasp and picks up the skunk."You're so fluffy?"

"Why thank you, Miss." The skunk giggles."You are oh so caring."

Odette smiles and sits down next to the animals."So what are your names?"

"Oh! My name's Vanessi."The skunk said,.

"Russel!" The hedgehog said, which confidence."But please be careful, I won't want to hurt a charming women such as yourself."

Odette smiles and pets his forehead."Don't worry about it."

"I'm..Daisy."Whispered the duck, looking down shyly."Please..."

Odette picks Daisy."It's ok, there. I won't hurt you." She smiled.

Daisy nuzzles her hand.

"Hi! I'm Vixon! Where did you come from? How's the village behind the waterfall???"

Odette Giggles. She was loving this so far, sweet animals, she thought.

"And I'm Sara." The mouse squeaked."Please enjoy your time here."

"We have a visitor? My, if I knew I would've given a nice tour."

Odette gasp and turns around.

A beautiful spirit stands before her. Her pink dress flowy and shimmer against the setting sun.

"My name is Persephone. I'm the caretaker of these forest. I give those friends of mine a home."

"Really?"

"Watch." Persephone said as she points to the sun.

The sun glows a orange pink color and pink magic filled the air.

The animals around her start to grow to lovely kids, with little animal features.

Odette gasp."Wait..they aren't animals?!"

"No...my cousin cause this..Rothbart isn't a cherry soul to say. He hates humans who enter here."

"Here?"

"My father. He owned this forest with pride and care. He loved the animals and adores them. Me and Rothbart were the same age and my father had to chose an heir, surprisingly he chose me to be the next protector after him. Rothbart didn't take it so well, he spread the forest with negativity and killed them. Once we fought and he left me severely wounded. My body was gone but my Spirit stays within the forest. But he's still out there, using his magic on innocence..."

Odette looks at the diamond in her pocket."Is..Is that why I have this? Cause he wants this?"

"Yes, the gem represent the heart of the forest. It once belong to my mother, who died early in her life. But she made this gem for someone one day to take it and use it to save the forest one day."

Odette sit down."And that's me...you don't mind if I...think about this?"

"Of course not, Odette, take as long you must. But please don't consider the worst. Amethyst will take you to your village and will wait by till you choose."

Odette smiles and follows Amethyst.

"I don't know why your so hesitate."Amethyst snorts."You're not as brave person."

"Hey! I said I'm considering it. Don't shame me for taking my time." Odette mumbles.

"Why yes, Amethyst, don't hurt the girl."

Odette stops."Is that.."

"Rothbart!" Amethyst growled, standing by Odette.

The eagle laughs hysterically and lands by Odette and turns to his form.

He smiles and held Odette by her shoulders."Oh..such a beautiful women, I'm surprised she was able to get there."

Odette tries to move but another eagle turned into the exact copy of Odette but her eyes were light brown and his hair were a deep black.

"Oh my sweet daughter, Odell! Meet Odette."

She giggled and goes closer to her.

"Is the the new protector?? Such a joke!"

Odette gasp and pushes them away."Stay away!" She gasp."Leave me alone."

"Now, give me the gem?" Rothbart ask, hand in front of her.

Odette steps back."No way."

"Excuse me?!" Rothbart gasp, talking offense of the women decision. "I thought you wanted to leave."

Odette shakes her as she turns to walk away, close to running.

"Oh you dare to run from Rothbart!" He growled and his ring glows as she points it to her directly.

Odette stopped in her tracks but felt her her body morph.

As she looks up.

She was a beautiful elegant swan.

Odette gasp as the gem fell to the ground.

"The gem!"

The swan girl immediately grabbed it with her mouth and tires to fly.

'fly! Fly!" She kept thinking till she felt her body lift in the air and drops the the lake.

"Hey! It's a swan!" Vixon gasp.

Persephone gasp."No.." she flew to the swan."Odette! I am so sorry.." she takes the gem from her mouth.

Rothbart growls."I'll get that gem! And I will be victorious, dear cousin!"

Rothbart turns around him and his daughter back to their eagle crow forms and flew away into the distance.

Odette swam to the shore and gets out the lake."I was trying to protect the gem."

"I see...but I can't change you back.. Rothbart's power is more powerful then my own due to my body..."

"It doesn't matter."Odette sighs."I choose my fate as protect of the forest."

Persephone smiles and uses her wand to turn to gem into a lovely crown and puts it on her bed.

The gem glows and Odette was herself again.

"Now, never take this off. It'll protect you against Rothbart's magic. It's that powerful."

Odette nods and sits by her new friends, who suffered the same fate.

She was will to protect...and that is a promise she will keep..
