The Battle-2
Ch-57
Luna looked at them, and then up at the sky where Yoongi was fighting with Blake then at Taehyung and Jin who were at the terrace. She looked towards Amelia, Annalise protecting the walls and Hoseok helping them. Aurora, making sure to kill the big ones, Diana flying in the sky, shielding the palace by unleashing her multiple crystal shards at the demons. Namjoon and Isla fighting alongside, not letting anyone, protecting the palace doors. Luna closed her eyes for a moment only to meet Jimin's angelic smile. She opened her eyes and saw Jimin, getting attacked.
Luna's anger surged, she found her feet lifting off the ground, and her swan-like wings materialized in her human form. Enraged, she fixed her furious gaze on the demon who dared to harm Jimin. Her voice seethed with venomous anger as she lunged at the demon. "You dare touch him?" Every eye turned towards Luna; their expressions filled with shock as they witnessed her transformation.
With a single, powerful strike, Luna dispatched the demon, her anger fueling her strength. She then spun around, facing Jungkook, Daisy, and Jimin. In a swift motion, she eliminated the two demons attacking them, securing their safety. Luna swiftly ripped a piece of cloth from her dress and wrapped it around Daisy's leg, tending to her injury. "Go with Jungkook and move to a safe place," she instructed, before shifting her focus to Jimin. She placed his arm gently around her shoulder and lifted off the ground, her wings carrying them to a safer location.
Luna firmly advised everyone, "Stay inside," her voice filled with determination. She turned to Jimin, her gaze meeting his eyes, which wore a weary smile. "I won't let anyone hurt you," she murmured softly to him, her words carrying a promise of protection. Jimin's grip on Luna's hand stopped her from leaving, bringing her attention back to him. "I'm proud of you...you can fly now," he whispered warmly, his voice tinged with affection. In response, Luna smiled warmly, placing her forehead gently against his, her words carrying a hint of intimacy. "You are the reason," she whispered back.
Jimin, his strength still weakened, gently pressed a kiss to her forehead, his voice carrying a hint of concern. "Take care," he murmured. Luna nodded in response and then, with determination, she ventured outside the palace to confront the ongoing battle. Jungkook, filled with a desire to engage in the fight, voiced his wishes to Luna. "I want to fight," he declared. Luna, recognizing his eagerness, responded with a cautionary tone. "Jungkook, don't push yourself too hard. You need to focus on protecting Daisy and your brother. If anyone gets injured, Daisy won't be able to heal them in her condition. I just ask you to prioritize their safety."
Taehyung descended to the ground, assisted by his flight powers, bringing Jin gently along with him. As they touched down, an image suddenly flashed through Jin's mind-a memory of Amelia calling out his name with a mixture of worry and concern in her voice. He realized that this was the moment he had seen in his second attempt to recall his memories. However, Jin was puzzled as he struggled to understand the reason behind Amelia's urgent outburst.
Jin looked around to find Amelia. He rushed out of the palace grounds, ignoring Taehyung's calls. Jin's eyes met Amelia's who at first smiled softly at him. He smiled back, approaching her, ignoring the demons and all. His gaze fixed on her. She fought with the demons, until her eyes went on Jin who was almost closer to her, "Jin!!!" He froze as the vision happened to be reality, and Amelia lunged towards him, stabbing the demon with her sword who was going to attack Jin from behind. Jin caught Amelia in his arms, holding her by her waist. She looked at him with concern, "you alright?" Jin looked at her, without reacting, his hand unconsciously reaching out to her face, holding her unexpectedly in a gentle way.
She took a sigh of relief, feeling comfort by his touch. The world and the battle seemed to fade away as the two of them found solace, being closer to each other. Jin came closer, whispering, "I can't lose you.. Please take care of yourself" she froze at his words. His gaze was soft, he caresses her cheek gently. She looked down, "and I can't lose you" she whispered tenderly, he looked at her, his gaze softening more. "Take care of yourself as well" she stepped back to fight again when he pulled her into a hug. She was surprised. He patted her hair, burying his head in the crook of her neck. "Just for a moment" he murmured, his voice filled with vulnerability and affection. He held her closer, inhaling her scent, his hand stroking her hair.
She took a deep breath, wrapping her arms around him. "Just for a moment" she repeated, he hummed her, taking deep breaths on her neck, giving shivers down her spine. "This feels unexpectedly good" she whispered, he smiled softly, "I dreamt of this moment" he whispered, she understood why he was so worried, and they stayed like that for some time. The irony was palpable-from a past where they couldn't stand each other, they now found solace in each other's embrace. Jin's arms held her tightly, pulling her closer, as if trying to hold onto her, frightened at the thought of losing her in the chaos of war.
"Jin," Amelia whispered gently, and he nodded in understanding, reluctantly letting go. He looked her in the eye, his tone firm. "I know. I swear I will end this today. I won't let Dracie harm you or your family. I will fight her." Amelia smiled softly, a mix of courage and concern in her eyes. "Promise me you will come back to me unharmed." Jin's hands remained on her face, his large hands gently cupping her soft cheeks. In a tender gesture, he pressed a soft kiss to her forehead, his voice resolute. "I will never leave you... Not now." Amelia's eyes fluttered shut for a moment, taking in the warmth of his touch and the promise in his words.
Jin's affectionate gesture continued as he planted another soft kiss on her forehead, his lips lingering on her skin. Then, he moved to her cheeks, whispering, "You mean so much to me. More than you realize." Amelia, still wrapped in his embrace, felt a whirlwind of emotions stirred within her at his tender words. Jin's voice was tinged with a hint of laughter as he said, "I don't care how much I hated you in the past." As Amelia chuckled, he smiled warmly at her, his words becoming more serious. "But now, I know I can't lose you," he confessed, his voice laced with vulnerability.
She nodded in agreement, her words filled with determination. "I can't either," she echoed back. For a brief moment, Jin seemed to hesitate, torn between the desire to hold her in his arms and the knowledge that this moment wasn't the right time. But despite the hesitation, he couldn't resist the overwhelming urge to pull her into a gentle, tender kiss. The mixture of affection and tenderness was palpable, and Amelia was caught off guard, her surprise evident.
His lips remained on hers for a few seconds, getting abruptly interrupted by a demon, going to attack them. His hand remained on her face, his lips stayed on hers while his other hand with his sword, he stopped the demon. Amelia opened her eyes for a brief moment, only to widen her eyes. The kiss broke and Jin pushed the demon with his feet, killing it with his sword. He turned to her, "I don't want to leave you alone," he confessed, his words filled with tenderness and protectiveness.
She met his gaze, attempting to soothe his worries. "I will be alright," she insisted, her words filled with reassurance. "Go and help your brothers." Jin's concern was evident in his eyes, but he knew she was right. With a deep breath, he gave her one last tender look before nodding and turning away, reluctantly leaving her side.
Jin turned around to see Hoseok on the floor. "What's wrong hobi?" he asked in a worried tone. "Just nothing. Accidentally fought with a fiery demon" Jin looked up to see Annalise fighting them, shielding Hoseok. "Be careful, should I take you inside?" Hoseok shook his head, getting on his feet. "Go inside hyung, I will take care" He again started fighting alongside Annalise. Jin nodded, concern evident on his face. He turned around to see Amelia fighting. He took a deep breath, determined to protect everyone.
Jin entered the palace once more; his mind began to drift back to the future visions that had been troubling him. He scanned his surroundings, searching for any sign of his brothers, when a nagging feeling in his gut told him something was amiss. His visions, a mixture of fragments and disjointed scenes, seemed to be warning him of impending danger, but he was unable to pinpoint which one of his brothers was in jeopardy.
Jin's gaze darted around the room, urgently searching, before he instinctively looked up to the sky. There, he spotted Yoongi engaged in a fierce battle with Blake, their movements almost a blur as they clashed. Jin's mind was now being bombarded with multiple visions, one after another, each fragment of the future flickering before his eyes like a rapid slideshow.
He looked towards Taehyung, locked in a fierce battle with the demons in the forest, and then shifted his gaze to Namjoon, fighting at a different spot. Again, the glimpses of the future showed him his brothers in various dangerous situations, and his concern heightened with each passing moment.
His concentration was broken as Jungkook's voice called out to him, snapping him back to the present. "Hyung!!" Lost in his own thoughts and the onslaught of visions, Jin had momentarily lost touch with reality. He turned towards the entrance door, where Jungkook stood, calling out to him. However, he struggled to comprehend the words that his youngest brother was speaking.
From his vantage point in the sky, Yoongi noticed Jin's distant demeanor and called out to him in a loud voice, "Hyung!!" However, it seemed as if Jin's mind was preoccupied with a daze, for he struggled to comprehend the words being spoken to him. The intensity of the visions he had been receiving seemed to overshadow his ability to focus on the present moment, leaving him momentarily deaf to the calls of his brothers.
Blake launched a super attack at Yoongi, Jin snapped out of his daze, realizing the peril his brother was in. However, it was too late to warn them, and the outcome was dire. He turned his gaze towards Jungkook, who had selflessly shielded him from a demon but was now motionless on the ground, unconscious. His eyes darted upwards to find Jimin, with injured wings, carefully supporting the injured Yoongi, bringing him back to safety.
Jin suddenly dropped to his knees, overcome by self-blame and regret. He shook Jungkook vigorously, desperation in his touch as he tried to rouse his unconscious brother. Jimin's strength gave out as he laid Yoongi down on the ground, his injured wings aching with pain. Jin's concern for his brothers heightened his worry etched on his face.
Jin's gaze fixed upon Blake; the demon lord's smug smirk further fueled his resolve. He rose to his feet, signaling his guards to carry his brothers inside, preparing himself to confront Blake alone. Jin's voice was filled with a steely determination as he addressed Blake. "You will live to regret every moment of your life for harming my brothers. Remember my words," he declared. Blake met Jin's declaration with a haughty smirk, seemingly unfazed by his threats.
Blake chuckled coldly, his tone laced with arrogance. "How amusing, Jin. You think your threats hold any weight against me? Your strength is pathetic in comparison to mine," he taunted. Jin's jaw tensed with determination as he let out a powerful yell before charging at Blake with his sword in hand. As Amelia observed the fight, her concern for Jin grew. Annalise called out to her, urgently drawing her attention away.
In that instant of distraction, Jin looked over at Amelia, giving Blake an opening to attack. However, Jin swiftly parried the attack with his sword, blocking Blake's advance. He clenched his teeth, his voice filled with anger and determination. "I will never forgive you for laying a hand on my brothers," Jin declared fiercely, landing a powerful kick on Blake. Blake chuckled coldly, his voice full of confidence. "You speak as if you have a choice."
Jin's voice trembled with anger and vengeance as he promised, "Today, I will end your life." Blake's glare intensified, and he charged at Jin again, launching another attack. However, Jin stood his ground, refusing to yield.
