Planning

Ch-44

Dracie paced around the room, her impatience mounting with each passing moment. "Where the hell is that emperor hiding?" she exploded; her frustration palpable. She turned to Blake, her eyes narrowing. Blake braced himself for Dracie's outburst, his expression remaining calm in the face of her anger. "We are still searching," he replied, his voice steady. But Dracie was clearly not satisfied. Her frustration boiled over as she shouted, "Searching? It's already been 2 months, and you're still giving me the same response?"

Dracie's voice was cold and commanding as she made her demand. "I need his head right in front of me. I don't care how you do it," she said. Blake's expression betrayed a hint of unease, but he knew better than to cross Dracie. Blake nodded silently, his expression a mix of determination and apprehension.

He left the room, his mind focused on the task at hand. Dracie sank back into her seat, the cool liquid of her wine providing a brief reprieve from her frustrations. She took a sip, her eyes narrowing as her mind continued to whirl with plans and schemes.

Amelia's voice held a tone of concern as she spoke. "Why don't you guys come to our palace? You'll be safer there," she suggested. Luna chimed in, her words carrying a sense of practicality. "Yeah... and your parents will also feel better seeing you all." Jin responded firmly, his determination evident in his voice. "I know, but it's not the right time for us to go back. We will stay here and fight our enemy."

Amelia's words carried a sense of reason, her concern for the boys evident in her voice. "You need support," she stated, her tone earnest. "We don't know how many of them there are. What if you're outnumbered? You're just seven." Luna nodded in agreement. "And even if we help you, you still need an army."

Namjoon brought up a valid point, his voice tinged with worry. "Hyung," he spoke, addressing Jin. "I think they are right... How many will we fight? If we keep fighting their demons, then we will get tired quickly even before facing their boss." Jin's concern for the safety of those they cared about was evident in his words. He nodded, agreeing with Namjoon's point. "I know that.. But what if they attack this place when we go back?" he said. "We don't know if they already know we're back. I don't want them to harm anyone important to us."

Annalise's voice cut through the silence, her eyes fixed on Jin with a quizzical expression. "So, what are you planning?" she asked, her tone earnest. "I will stay here" The surprise on their faces was evident as they turned to see Junho standing there. "No way!" Jimin exclaimed, his voice filled with concern.

"We can't let you stay here in danger. You're coming with us." But Junho's determined expression remained unchanging. "Trust me... hyung," he said, when he called 'hyung' their gaze softened. his voice steady. "I can fight." Jin softened at the sight of the younger boy, gently patting his head. "You're too small to fight, we took your responsibility, we can't leave you here" Jin said.

Junho's words revealed a surprising secret, leaving the others in shock. "But I have... powers as well," he admitted, his gaze falling downward. Yoongi's curiosity was evident in his voice as he questioned further, "P-powers? What kind of powers?" Jungkook chimed in, confirming Junho's claim. "He has powers... I saw it last night," he explained.

"I don't think he's an ordinary kid. And i am not saying to leave him here all alone.. Hyung, i will stay here with him" But Jin's protective nature was evident in his response. "No way!" he exclaimed. " I am not letting you two stay here even if he has powers or not"

Annalise's protective instincts kicked in, her words firm as she refused to allow the kids to stay behind. "Yes, he is right.. you both won't stay here," she declared. "If anything, I am not letting you two, and Daisy, stay here. You're all still kids." Daisy's voice was small as she spoke about her past experience, her expression hopeful. "But I saved a life once," she said softly. Annalise's expression softened, the concern for her younger sister evident in her voice. "I know, Daisy," she replied, "but please, just listen to me for once. I care for you."

Hoseok's voice was gentle yet insistent as he backed up Annalise's stance. "She is right," he said firmly. "We can't let you all stay here. And it's not because we don't care." Annalise gave Hoseok a small, appreciative smile, grateful for his support. Diana posed a question, "So, who is staying?" Isla quickly offered her services with a hint of eagerness. "Shall I stay?" she asked. Namjoon responded with a firm determination. "I will stay with her," he said, causing Isla to hide a smile at his words.

Jin's voice held a tone of trust and certainty as he addressed Namjoon. "Okay," he said. "I know I can trust you both." He turned to others. "We will go and come back. Namjoon contact with us if anything wrong happens" Namjoon nodded. He then turned his attention to Junho, his gaze softening as he bent down to meet the young boy's eyes.

"I will give you a chance as well, kiddo," Jin said, his voice firm yet gentle. "But understand this. We can't afford to risk your life." Junho's eyes shone with determination and confidence as he made a declaration. "I will prove it to you," he said, his voice filled with pride. Jin couldn't help but chuckle at the young boy's enthusiasm, his hand tenderly patting his head. "I know you will," Jin replied, his voice warm with belief in the boy's abilities.

Jungkook pouted, his expression resembling a sulky child. Jin couldn't help but chuckle at his antics, his tone gentle and amused. "What's the matter with you?" he asked, a hint of jest in his voice. "Are you angry with me?" Jungkook kept pouting, "you're so adorable" Daisy muttered. Her playful comment made Jungkook's pout waver for a moment, his cheeks flushed with embarrassment. The others couldn't help but chuckle, amused by the youngest member's endearing expression.

As the others headed off to the Euphoria kingdom, Namjoon and Isla stayed behind in the clearing. The atmosphere was somber, their thoughts likely consumed with worry for their friends' safety. Isla's question hung in the air, her voice soft as she addressed Namjoon. "Can I ask you something?" Namjoon nodded, his attention focused on her. "Why did you stay behind?" He paused for a moment, his expression pensive. "I guess I wanted to ensure the safety of the people we left behind," he responded, his voice calm. "What about you?"

Isla's response was soft, her voice almost a whisper. "Maybe the same..." Namjoon nodded and smiled back, his expression warm and understanding. There was a quiet comfort in the shared moment, a silent understanding between them. In the tranquil clearing, their connection seemed to deepen, strengthening the bond between them.

As the carriage arrived at the main entrance, the guards stood at attention, their faces betraying their surprise as they recognized the guests. "P-princes of Rosefall?" one guard stammered. Luna spoke calmly, her voice laced with authority. "Can we go inside?" The guards quickly followed her request, their expressions still dazed as they opened the doors for the princes.

Luna issued the guards with a firm warning, her voice carrying a sense of urgency. "Make sure no outsider enters the castle," she said. "A war is coming up, and we don't need any intruders." Jimin waited patiently for her, his gaze filled with concern and curiosity as he observed her interactions with the guards.

Luna's eyes met Jimin's, a small smile playing at the corners of her lips. As he draped his arm around her shoulder, she couldn't help but notice the hint of tenderness in his voice. "Can I ask you something?" he whispered softly, his breath warm against her ear. She nodded. "Does your father... now allow me to be with you?"

Luna looked at him and softly pecked his cheeks and nodded. A soft blush spread across Jimin's cheeks as Luna gently pecked his cheek before nodding in response. A warm smile tugged at the corners of his lips. "I like this side of yours more," he murmured, his breath tickling her skin as he leaned down to kiss her forehead.

She smiled, "not my other side?" There was a playful glint in Jimin's eyes as he pulled her closer, his voice soft and gentle. "Not your other side?" he asked, a hint of tease in his tone. "Does that mean you have more than one side?" But then his expression softened, his words carrying a sense of unwavering devotion. "Whatever side you show, whatever you do, I will love everything," he declared, his voice carrying a hint of tenderness.

A soft smile tugged at the corners of Luna's lips as she whispered the words "I love you" to Jimin. There was a sense of vulnerability in her voice, a mixture of tenderness and affection. Jimin's heart skipped a beat as he heard her words, his own smile widening. He pulled her even closer, his arms encircling her in a protective embrace. "I love you too" he murmured, his voice filled with raw emotion.

Amelia glanced over her shoulder and caught sight of Jimin and Luna embracing each other in a tender moment. A small, knowing smile tugged at the corners of her lips. She turned back around, respecting their privacy and leaving them alone. Meanwhile, Jimin and Luna continued to hold each other tightly, lost in their own world for a few precious moments.

"When this is all over, will you marry me?" Jimin asked and a sense of surprise washed over Luna as Jimin posed his question, her cheeks flushing a rosy hue. But as she met his gaze, she saw the earnestness in his eyes, and a soft smile spread across her face. Nodding in response, Luna replied shyly, "Yes, when all of this is over, I will marry you."

Jimin's smile widened, his eyes sparkling with a mixture of joy and adoration. "I will be the luckiest guy in the world to marry you," he said, his voice filled with heartfelt conviction. Luna felt a warm flutter in her chest at his words, her feelings for him growing even stronger. "And I will be the luckiest woman," she replied softly, a tender smile on her lips.

Jimin and Luna remained intertwined in each other's embrace, their bodies pressed close together as if they never wanted to let go. He gently nuzzled her neck, his arms holding her tightly yet tenderly. Luna's fingers trailed along the back of his neck, her touch soft and affectionate. She held onto him like a lifeline, their hearts beating in rhythm with each other.

Jin voiced his question, his concern evident in his voice. "Where is Jimin?" Amelia responded softly in response, her words carrying a gentle wisdom. "Let him stay with her." Jin's expression softened as he heard her reply, understanding the sentiment behind her words. He nodded silently, acknowledging the importance of allowing Jimin the chance to cherish the moment with Luna.

As the emperor and empress stepped into the grand hall, their eyes widened in surprise at the unexpected sight before them. Not only were representatives from the Rosefall Kingdom present, but others as well. Wong, whose expression was downcast, suddenly looked up, his heart skipping a beat as he locked eyes with his sons. Disbelief etched across his face, he struggled to process the situation standing before him.

Jin and his brothers stepped forward, their voices soft as they spoke to their father. "We are back, Father," Jin whispered, his words carrying a mix of emotion. Unable to contain his joy, Wong's initial question concerned his missing sons. "But... where is Jimin and Namjoon?" he inquired, his concern evident. In response, Jin explained, "Jimin is outside," he said. "And Namjoon stayed back for clearing. He will also come to meet soon."

Wong's emotions overflowed, his tears streaming down his face as he embraced Jin and then each of his brothers. Their surprise was evident, as they had never seen their father cry before. His trembling hands clutched at them, as if he was afraid to let go, as though he needed to confirm their presence was real.

Wong sank to his knees, his voice choked with tears, and a surprised gasp escaped the brothers. "Father, what are you-" Yoongi began to panic. But before Yoongi could finish, Wong's words continued, his voice filled with regret and sorrow. "I am sorry... I was unable to protect you all," he confessed, his shoulders slumped in defeat.

Jin and the brothers quickly helped their father to his feet. "It wasn't your fault, Father," Jin reassured him, his voice steady amidst the turmoil. "And now that we are back, it isn't you who will bent down but those people who did this" Yoongi spoke. Their mother's voice joined the conversation, curiosity evident as she asked, "But who did this?" In response, Hoseok spoke up, his words firm. "We just know that Hwan-gyu was a part of them." The revelation of Hwan-gyu's betrayal triggered a wave of anger within Wong. "That bastard!" he exclaimed.

Jimin's fingers were linked with Luna's as they entered the palace together, drawing the attention of both Austin and Wong. The two men seemed hesitant, worried about their reaction to the sight of them together. Austin approached them, his voice filled with remorse. "I'm sorry, dear..." he began, his words heartfelt. "I felt so guilty for my behavior when I heard about you and your brothers. I wanted to apologize properly."

An expression of surprise washed over Jimin's face as Austin tried to apologize. "Don't apologize, Your Highness," Jimin quickly interjected. Austin chuckled, a knowing smile playing at the corners of his lips. "Call me father-in-law," he said, causing Luna's eyes to widen in surprise. Jimin's face grew flushed, a mix of emotions evident on his features. "Okay... Father-in-law," he replied, his voice filled with a mixture of awe and affection.

Austin's expression softened as he heard the affectionate tone in Jimin's voice, a clear indication that he accepted their relationship. A warm smile spread across his face, the corners of his eyes crinkling with joy. "I can see that you truly care for my daughter," he said, his voice filled with approval. "And I'm glad to have you as a future son-in-law."

Wong posed a question to his sons, his voice steady and composed. "So, what are you all planning?" Jin responded, determination in his voice. "We need an army."
