Kidnapped, Attack, More problems

Ch-52

Kings of all the kingdoms sat together to have a meal, with their queens of course but their sons and daughters aren't there. "I don't know if it's our last meal, but let's toast" Wong said while chuckling. Austin nodded and they cheered their wine glasses. The mood in the room shifted from cheerful to tense as Amelia rushed up to Austin and knocked away his glass. The room was filled with surprise and confusion at her sudden outburst.

Austin was visibly upset, his face reddening with anger as he stood up. "Amelia, what is the meaning of this?" he demanded. But Amelia's expression was filled with fear and urgency. "It's poison in your drinks!" she exclaimed, her voice quivering.

Jin's sharp eyes spotted something unusual as he looked at his father, Wong's glass. He leaned in closer, peering at the contents of the glass, and noticed something strange. "The color is different," he said, his voice grave with concern.

Luna's whisper was filled with worry, and Jimin's words caused a shiver to run down everyone's spine. "Someone tried to kill you in the castle," Luna repeated, her voice shaking slightly. "It's the same as that time," Jimin added, his expression turning grim as he recalled the previous incident. "Someone mixed our drinks as well."

Namjoon's voice cut through the murmur of confusion and fear, bringing everyone's attention back to the gravity of the situation. "What if, like with Hwan-Gyu, there are more spies in other castles as well?" he said, his words filling the room with a heavy silence.

The revelation that their enemy could be hiding among them sent chills down everyone's spine. They exchanged uneasy glances, aware that their safety was at risk. The once lively atmosphere had transformed into one of tension and caution.

King Ed's voice rang out in the room, filled with determination. "We can't afford to sit idly anymore," he exclaimed. "We have to fight now," he said with fierce conviction. The others nodded in agreement, the fire of determination burning in their eyes.

Everyone's attention turned towards Jin as he spoke up, his voice calm and authoritative. "No," he said firmly, his expression resolute. "We should focus on finding out who did this first." The others looked at him in surprise, but then they nodded in agreement, silently acknowledging the wisdom in his words.

Amelia noticed Jin walking away and decided to follow him discreetly, her footsteps nearly silent against the floor. She remained behind him, maintaining a distance to avoid being noticed.

"Stop following me!" he repeated, turning around to find her standing there. His eyes were filled with a mix of annoyance and something else she couldn't quite identify.

Jin's sudden outburst startled Amelia, and she flinched at the unexpected sharpness of his tone. He had never raised his voice at her before, and his words hung in the air.

"What's wrong with you? You were completely fine a few hours ago" Amelia asked in concern. Jin's expression softened momentarily at her question, but he quickly regained his stern composure. He took a deep breath, trying to control the tumultuous emotions swirling inside him.

"I'm just stressed," he said, his voice a bit more subdued. "With everything that's happening, it's taking a toll on me."

"It's not like you. You would never go against a king's orders" Her eyes went down at his hand, she strangely looked at him. Amelia's eyes widened in horror as she finally understood what was wrong. The sinister smile on Jin's face, the change in his eyes, it was clear that this was not Jin.

"Who are you?" she demanded, her voice quivering in fear. The air around her suddenly felt colder, and a chill ran down her spine.

Jin - or whoever was pretending to be him - turned to face Amelia, his voice deeper and more sinister. "You really shouldn't have followed me," he said, his words a low growl. "Curiosity might get you in trouble, you know."

"Where is jin?" Amelia asked, her steps getting back. Fake Jin chuckled, his eyes following her every move as she took a step back. "Why do you care where he is?" he retorted, a smug smile on his face. "You were just looking for a reason to get rid of him, weren't you?"

"Just fucking tell me where he is!!!" She yelled. Fake Jin chuckled once more, finding her outburst amusing. "Getting feisty, are we?" he taunted, his smile widening. "Why would I tell you where he is, huh?"

Others heard the chaos. Fake Jin, having returned to his normal state, pretended to be annoyed at Amelia's behavior, just like the real Jin would. "She's always so annoying," he said, feigning irritation. "She just won't stop following me and pestering me."

"Amelia we need to focus on main matters right now" Luna said and Amelia glared at Jin. "He is pretending!! He kidnapped Jin!!" The room fell into shocked silence after Amelia's revelation. Everyone stared at fake Jin, trying to understand what was happening. The weight of the accusation hung heavily in the air. "He kidnapped Jin?" Luna repeated, her voice filled with surprise. "Are you sure about this, Amelia?"

"Hyung is right in front of us, how will he kidnap himself?" Taehyung said. Fake Jin chuckled, his expression nonchalant. "Exactly. How could I kidnap myself?" he said, gesturing at himself. "It's absurd."

Jimin looked at Jin and came closer. "Hyung.. Do you remember what you said to me when we met again after our memories came back?"

Fake Jin's gaze shifted towards Jimin as he approached, his smile faltering momentarily. He wasn't sure where this conversation was going, but he had to maintain his facade. "What did I say?" he asked, trying to sound nonchalant. "You said you missed me" Jimin said nonchalantly.

Fake Jin's composure wavered for a moment. Jimin's comment caught him off guard, and he hesitated for a split second before replying. "Of course I missed you," he said, trying to sound like Jin would. "We're brothers, aren't we?"

Jimin stepped back, "actually you never said that to me!! He isn't Jin hyung" Jimin's revelation caused a shockwave of surprise and disbelief to ripple through the room. Everyone's gazes darted between Jimin and fake Jin, processing the truth behind his words. "What?" Fake Jin said, feigning confusion. "Of course I said that. You must have misheard me."

"You don't remember this hyung. It was tae who came to me not you" Jimin said, "where is Jin hyung?" Fake Jin's expression tightened as Jimin revealed another discrepancy in his memory. He was grasping at straws, trying to maintain his facade.

"I..." he began, his voice faltering. "I-"

But before he could say anything else, a loud commotion suddenly erupted from outside the room. The door burst open, and a guard rushed in, panting and out of breath.

Everyone looked behind, Luna went to the guard. "What's wrong?" The guard, still trying to catch his breath, managed to stammer out a response. "There's... there's been another attack," he said, his voice filled with urgency. "Near the Northern border, near the forest."

Everyone widened their eyes. Amelia noticed the fake Jin running away. "Waitt!!" She rushed behind him. "Amelia don't go alone" Luna's warning fell on deaf ears. Everyone in the room exchanged worried glances, concerned about what might happen to Amelia. "We have to do something!" Jimin exclaimed, a sense of urgency in his voice. "We can't just let her go alone."

"She is worried for him" Luna muttered. "I understand that, but it's dangerous for her to go after him alone," Jimin replied, frustration lacing his words. "We need to do something before it's too late."

"What about the attack in the forest?" Hoseok's reminder shifted the focus back to the attack in the forest. The urgency in his voice reflected the seriousness of the situation. "You're right," Namjoon said, his expression turning serious. "We can't ignore that either. We need to figure out what's happening and take action."

"He was wearing that ring. The same one hwan gyu had" Jungkook said, "i think he was using dark magic.. We can't leave Jin hyung and Princess Amelia alone"

Jungkook's observation sent a chill down everyone's spine. The fact that fake Jin was wearing a similar ring to Hwan-Gyu hinted at a sinister connection.

"Dark magic?" Namjoon repeated, his voice filled with concern. "That explains his ability to imitate Jin hyung so accurately."

"We need to go behind them before something happens. I am going. I can't let anything happen to my sister" Luna said, "i am coming with you" Jimin whispered.

Luna and Jimin's determination was evident in their voices, and the others knew they couldn't stop them.

"Be careful, okay?" Namjoon warned, his expression filled with concern. "We don't know what we're dealing with, and it's dangerous."

"We should head towards the forest" Yoongi muttered, "but we all can't go there. Who knows they will not attack the castle." Hoseok said, "i think it's a trap. They are trying to distract us" Diana said.

Diana's observation struck a nerve, and everyone seemed to agree. It was possible that the attack near the forest was a distraction to draw their attention away from something more sinister.

"You're right," Namjoon said, his expression darkening as he considered the situation. "We can't afford to be separated and fall into whatever trap they are setting. We need a plan."

"So half of us can go to the forest and then others can stay here in the castle. The most powerful ones" Jungkook said and they looked towards Yoongi and Diana, the most powerful ones.

The others nodded in agreement with Jungkook's suggestion. It made sense to divide their forces and protect the castle while investigating the forest. Yoongi and Diana, being the most powerful, were their best defense.

"That sounds like a good plan," Namjoon said. "Yoongi and Diana will stay here, while the rest of us will go to the forest."

"No, don't you all go, go only the ones who can need in the forest. Like jungkook, hoseok and taehyung" Yoongi said. His suggestion made sense; they didn't need everyone to go to the forest. Only those with specific abilities would be most useful.

"That's a good point," Namjoon agreed. "Jungkook, Hoseok, and Taehyung have skills that will be valuable in the forest environment. The rest of us will stay here."

Aurora, annalise and daisy also went with them. Namjoon, isla, yoongi and Diana stayed at the castle. Jimin and Luna went behind Amelia who went behind the fake Jin.
