Clash between the kings

Ch-30

A letter was delivered to Euphoria kingdom from Wong, king of Rosefall. Austin asked the guard to read it. Austin looked visibly disturbed when the guard reads the letter aloud. He clenches his fists in anger and announces to the guards, "Get the horses ready. We're going to Rosefall Kingdom." The tension in the room is palpable as the guards immediately set to tasks, preparing horses and supplies for the unexpected voyage. The same letter was delivered to the Rosefall kingdom and Wong widened his eyes. "Why would Austin do that?" he thought to himself.

Austin bursts into the throne room, visibly upset and angry. He confronts Wong directly, saying, "What do you mean, Wong? I thought we were friends, and yet you're using your kingdom to gain an advantage over us?" The tension between the two kings is palpable, and the room falls silent as they face off against each other. Wong, remaining calm in the face of Austin's accusations, retorts, "And what about you? You're doing the same thing by having your daughters married to my princes so you can gain control of my kingdom." The realization that both kings have been deceived becomes clear, and the room is filled with an uneasy silence.

The princes, oblivious to the conflict between their fathers, continue their daily tasks and activities, unaware that the kings of their respective kingdoms are embroiled in a heated dispute fueled by the deception of the mysterious letter-writer.

Hoseok was near the waterfall, eagerly anticipating his meeting with Annalise. However, a whisper from a guard about the conflict between the kings suddenly shattered his thoughts. He looked sadly at Annalise, who was waiting for him by the waterfall. With a heavy heart, Hoseok turned away, leaving Annalise behind. He felt a pang of regret for not being able to spend time with her, but he knew he had responsibilities and obligations to attend to as a prince. Little did he know that this may have been the last time they would see each other.

Jungkook, a huge smile on his face and a twinkle in his eyes, was on his way to propose to Daisy, thinking this was the perfect day for it. He saw her waving at him in a cute outfit and a lovely smile on her face. However, his assistant suddenly approached him with news about the conflict between their fathers. With a heavy heart, Jungkook stopped himself from going to Daisy, muttering, "I'm sorry..." With a pang of regret in his heart, he turned around and left with his guards, leaving Daisy behind. Daisy watched as Jungkook turned and left, a look of disappointment and confusion on her face. She didn't understand why he had to leave so suddenly and abruptly. Little did she know that this would be the last time they would see each other.

Taehyung stood in the flower garden, admiring the beautiful flowers he had arranged for Aurora. He couldn't wait to show her the surprise he had prepared and see the look on her face. However, his assistant approached him, whispering, "Your Highness, there's a problem in the palace." Taehyung sighed, not wanting to leave but knowing he had to attend to his duties. "Why now?" he thought to himself, disappointment and frustration coursing through him "I had planned to show Aurora the gift."

"I know Taehyung, but king is fighting with king Austin" Taehyung's eyes widened in shock when he heard the news. The mention of the kings fighting caught him off guard. He took a deep breath, trying to steady himself. "What do you mean they're fighting? Why?" he asked his assistant, a hint of trepidation in his voice. "We don't know it yet; the princes are asked to gather up there. Please come with us" Taehyung nodded, a look of concern on his face. "Very well," he said. He cast a wistful glance at the beautiful flower garden he had specially prepared for Aurora, knowing that his plans to show her the gift would have to wait. "Let's go," he said determinedly, steeling himself for whatever awaited him in the palace.

Luna was standing beside the tree, staring at the beautiful lake when she recognized the familiar feeling of Jimin's arms around her and the soft touch of his lips on her shoulder. She smiled and leaned back into his embrace, relishing the comfort of his presence. "You startled me," she said, turning her head to look at him with a playful smile. "Aw you got scared?" Jimin said with a playful smile and then softly pecked on her lips. "You look so beautiful" Luna rolled her eyes at Jimin's teasing, but a soft blush crept onto her cheeks at his compliment. "I didn't get scared," she protested, but a smile tugged at the corners of her lips. "And stop trying to flatter me," she said with a mock annoyed tone, but there was no denying the effect his words had on her.

Jimin smirked at her, "oh so you don't like my compliments?" he pinned her against the tree, leaning closer. Luna's heartbeat quickened as Jimin pinned her against the tree, his body pressing against hers. "Maybe I do," she said, trying to maintain her usual carefree attitude, but her breath hitched slightly. She could feel the heat from his body and the intensity in his gaze, making her heart flutter. As they were enjoying their intimate moment, a guard came there. "uh.. your highness" Jimin looked up in annoyance as a guard approached them, interrupting their moment. He let out a frustrated sigh, clearly not pleased with the interruption. "Can't you see we're busy here?" he snapped, his irritation evident in his voice.

"I know your highness, but king Wong and king Austin are fighting" Both of them looked up. "Why is my father fighting with yours?" Luna asked Jimin who looked at Luna with a mixture of confusion and concern. "I have no idea," he said, his forehead creasing in worry. "Our fathers have always been on good terms. I wonder what could have caused this sudden conflict." The news of their fathers fighting was unsettling, and both Jimin and Luna were left wondering what had transpired to lead to this unexpected conflict.

All the princes gathered up in the hall. "Father what's going on?" Namjoon asked Wong who was sitting in his throne. Wong looked up as his sons entered the hall, a serious expression on his face. He took a deep breath before answering Namjoon's question. "I received a letter from Austin," he said, a hint of anger in his tone. "He accused me of trying to take advantage of his kingdom." All the brothers widened their eyes. "But why would he do that?" Jimin came there with Luna and Austin pulled Luna away from Jimin. Jimin shot a glare at her father, feeling a pang of protectiveness over Luna. Wong looked at Jimin and Luna, sensing the tension between them, but he quickly turned his attention back to Austin. "Exactly," he said, his voice firm. "Why would he fabricate such an accusation?"

"Whatever it is, I don't think we need to talk anymore" Austin said sternly, Amelia too came there. "What are you doing father? Leave Luna" Amelia said. Austin looked at Amelia, surprised by her interjection. He held onto Luna firmly but seemed hesitant at Amelia's command. "Stay out of this," he said to her. "This is adult business."

"What do you mean? Leave my sister's arm father" Austin glared at Amelia, "do you even care about her? Since childhood Luna has protected you and yet you never recognized her" Amelia and Luna widened their eyes, "Father!! That's not true" Luna tried defending Amelia, "Luna stop it!! Don't defend your sister" Wong and the princes watched as the tense argument between Austin and Amelia escalated. Wong's face was stoic, but his eyes revealed a hint of sadness at the mention of Luna's sacrifice for her sister. Jimin stood beside Luna, gripping her hand tightly for support. The room was tense as the words hung in the air, carrying a weight of unspoken truths and buried emotions.

Amelia looked at the timing and gestured Jimin to take luna away. "You dare to touch my daughter?" Austin angrily said to Jimin, "I came here to fix my daughter amelia's wedding but seems like Wong can't control his children" Wong clutches his fists. The room was filled with tension as both kings exchanged harsh words. "My children are grown adults, and they are free to make their own choices," Wong retorted, his voice firm but tinged with anger. "And how dare you question my ability to control my own children?" Jimin held onto Luna tightly, feeling the weight of the situation as her father's words echoed in the room.

"Ask your son to leave my daughter's hand" Austin said to Wong as Jimin kept holding luna. Wong sighed, frustrated by Austin's continued interference. "My son is an adult, and he is free to make his own decisions," he replied firmly. "He is not a child, and I will not dictate who he can and cannot hold." Jimin clenched Luna's hand even tighter, his jaw set in determination. He refused to let go, no matter what Austin said. "Father why are you behaving like this?" Luna said trying to calm him down. Austin looked at Luna, his gaze softening slightly at her words. "I'm just trying to protect you," he said gruffly. "I don't want you to end up with him." Luna widened her eyes in disbelief, "father please.. I love him"

Austin looked at Luna, torn between his desire to protect her and her declaration of love for Jimin. He saw the look in her eyes, the conviction in her voice, and he knew she was serious. "How can you say that?" he asked, his voice laced with frustration. "You're young, you don't know what you really want"

"Father stop it" Amelia said and Austin burst on her, "Stop calling me your father!!" The room fell silent as the tension reached its peak. Austin's outburst shocked everyone, especially Amelia, who stood there in stunned silence. Wong's eyes widened in surprise, while the princes exchanged worried glances.

The sudden revelation hung in the air, leaving everyone stunned by Austin's words. It was a painful moment of truth that nobody had expected. Amelia was stunned to even speak when Jin came in between, "I think we can talk calmly, no need to shout" he said politely to Austin, not letting him see amelia. Austin's gaze shifted to Jin as he stepped in between him and Amelia. His expression softened slightly, his anger replaced by a mixture of surprise and curiosity. "You think we can talk calmly?" he repeated, his voice still tinged with frustration. "After what you've said-"Jin interrupted him before he could continue. "Yes, we can talk calmly," he said firmly. "There's no need to shout. We can resolve this like adults."

"And also, no need to take your anger out on her, she is your daughter" Jin said and Amelia looked at him. Austin looked at Jin for a moment, his expression conflicted. He knew deep down that Jin was right. He had taken his anger out on Amelia, and it was unfair to her. He sighed, his shoulders slumping slightly.

"I know she's my daughter," he said quietly, his voice betraying a hint of remorse. Everyone went silent and Austin left Luna's hand who went away from there with Jimin. Only Amelia knew why he took her away because it was time for her animagus form, and she didn't want anyone to know about the secret. Luna walked away with Jimin, holding onto his hand tightly. She was still shaken by the turn of events and the unexpected revelation.

Jimin looked at her with concern, seeing the turmoil in her eyes. "Are you okay?" he asked softly, squeezing her hand reassuringly. As they walked away from the commotion in the hall, Jimin kept holding onto Luna's hand. He could feel the tremors in her grasp, a sign of her nerves. They came across a secluded area where they could talk privately. Jimin stopped walking and turned to Luna, his gaze filled with concern. "Are you really, okay?" he asked again, his voice gentle. Luna felt tears streaming down her eyes. Jimin saw the tears streaming down Luna's face, and his heart sank. He reached out and gently wiped away her tears with his thumb. "Hey, it's okay," he said softly, taking her into his arms. "You don't have to hold everything in. Let it out."

Amelia was sitting a bit far from everyone, shaken by everything when Jin came to her and sat beside her, "Are you okay?" he asked softly. Amelia looked up as Jin sat down beside her, his voice breaking through the haze of her thoughts. She took a deep breath, trying to compose herself. "I'm not sure," she said honestly, her voice barely above a whisper. "Everything has been so unexpected and overwhelming." he kept his hand on hers. '"It's okay" Amelia felt the warmth of Jin's hand on hers and it soothed her somehow. She looked up at him, her eyes still filled with turmoil. "Why did he have to say that?" she asked, her voice cracking slightly. "Why did he have to deny being my father?"

"He was just angry, I know he didn't really mean it. Even if he says anything, you will still be his daughter" Jin said softly, rubbing the back of her hand with his thumb. Amelia nodded, feeling a faint glimmer of comfort in Jin's words. She knew she shouldn't let Austin's words affect her, but it hurt, nonetheless.

"Do you really think he didn't mean it?" she asked quietly, her voice tinged with a hint of vulnerability. Jin nodded, leaning closer and pecking her head. "I mean it" As Jin leaned closer and planted a soft peck on her head, Amelia felt a surge of comfort wash over her. His words and gesture were reassuring, and she found herself leaning into his warmth. "I hope you're right," she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper. It was a rare moment for them to be this close. They sat in comfortable silence for a moment, their proximity creating a bubble of intimacy. Jin kept his hand on hers, his thumb continuing to slowly stroke the back of her hand. And Amelia felt her heart flutter at their closeness.
