I am Jynx Wynknight, the first lady knight of the empire of Marveille.

With a frown, I mounted my black stallion, Erebus, and headed towards the forest. I need some fresh air to cool my mind.

I am a knight, and a maverick at that, regardless of my gender. I love adventures and the excitement it brings. Pero sa di inaasahan, biglang nag iba ang tungkuling iniatas sa akin ni Lord Kazan.

As a member of the Paladin Knights, I'm not someone who enjoys guarding people especially those bratty and arrogant royals. The Imperial Knights exist to do that job.

First, I woke up with a crest that appeared on my left chest. Second, I was ordered to guard a royalty.

Kung tutuusin, wala namang problema sa pagiging bantay ko. I still strictly follow knightly duties no matter how much I despise the task or the idea of being a royal's bodyguard. My problem is the person I'll be guarding.

That's just a rumor, though. Information regarding royals are highly classified so it's still too early to believe that.

Our elite team is composed of 10 people, including our captain. All of them except me, the vice-captain, are on a mission. Needless to say that I'm the most eligible knight for the royal job right now.

Well, I guess, it's not bad to try something new. I'm gonna enjoy this guardian role and just get it over with. After that, I'll happily embrace my retirement.

I smiled at the thought.
