This series was created by the same person who made Soul Eater, so if you enjoy that you'll most likely enjoy this.

David Productions, who is well known for animating JoJo, did justice for this, the animation is absolutely gorgeous, along with the music, sound design and two amazing openings.

Now for a rundown of the plot.
In a world where majority of the world sought refuge in Tokyo, due to people spontaneously combusting and turning into creatures known as Infernals. Shinra Kusakabe is a pyrokinetic with the ability to ignite his feet, he joins the Fire Force's Company 8 to find out what happened to his mother and younger brother, and to end the threat of spontaneous combustion once and for all.

The Fire Force works more as a exorcist-like group, as when they defeat an Infernal, they offer a prayer, heck even their bases are cathedrals.

What's interesting is that not every character has pyrokinesis, and those who do have completely different abilities, like heating their flames to certain point to become plasma and be used as a sword. So there's good variety of different abilities, so it's not like seeing the same power over and over again.
