Despite the fan service, the series has some action scenes that put few shounen to shame, the characters have interesting backstories so you'll actually care about them, and the plot is progressive, easy to comprehend and enjoy.

Highschool of the Dead
Other than being a series highly known for its fan service, it's action is amazing and is rather dark, since it's still a zombie series.

Monster Musume
What I like most about this series is the wide variety of monster girls and them living in a normal society. Honestly it opens your eyes to just how many monster girls there are in the fictional world.
