Chorus: The story we are about to tell you is an important one, you may or may not have heard it but we are going to tell you anyway. Once upon a time there was an ancient kingdom called Acricani, who's vast borders stretched across multiple lands. It was ruled by a king who knew only of greed and jealousy. However both his wife and his seven year old son were protected from seeing this side of him. They were also protected from the violent wars that would plague the land every two years by staying inside the walls of the vast palace...

Hugo: Mother please can I go outside?

Queen Opal: No

Hugo: Why?

Queen Opal: Because you are not old enough yet

Hugo: When will I be?

Queen Opal: When you how to rule effectively, have mastered the art of sword fighting so you can go to war and when you have secured a wife

Hugo: Why do I need to learn all those things, they seem pointless?

Queen Opal: Stop asking questions

*She takes the bell that is hidden under her dress and rings it, Dia runs into the room and curtseys before the Prince and the Queen.

Queen Opal: Dia Take Hugo back up to the nursery, I find him to be quite vexing today

Dia: Yes m'lady

*She holds out her hand and Hugo reluctantly takes it, they leave the room

Queen Opal: That boy is never going to be fit to rule...

King Quince : Why?

Queen Opal: Oh gosh I didn't know you were standing there

King Quince: Well I am, tell me why Hugo will never be ready.

Queen Opal: He is too soft, I can't picture him ever killing a living soul or enforcing order, he will not know what to do with a wife, he might even end up taking orders from her

King Quince: My son will grow up to be like me even if it kills him

*The king clearly angry storms out of the room, his wife sits down at a chair and continues the tapestry she has been working on

*A section of physical theatre or a dance

*Hugo is sitting in bed when he hears bang, bang, clash, scream, his mother comes running into the room

Queen Opal: Hugo you are to run and hide, stay silent, stay out of sight until either me or your father comes for you

Hugo: What's going on?

Queen Opal: For once in your life can you stop asking questions and just do as I say

*She runs out of the room and Hugo hides, Tsen and Tzar enter fighting each other

Tsen: King Hirsch told me to find the kid

Tzar: No he told me

Tsen: He wouldn't have given you the task you're too stupid

Tzar: I am not, if I was he wouldn't have given me this gun

Tsen: Dude that's a dagger

Tzar: Same thing!

Tsen:How?!

*Eisen marches in like a soldier

Eisen: Boys! (shouting)

Tsen and Tzar solute: Commander Eisen

Eisen: Have you found Hugo yet?

Tsen and tzar: Who?

Eisen: The kid you idiots, have you found him?

Tsen: I was just about to look but Tzar started having a go at me

Tzar: I did n...

Tsen: You did too

*The boys start physically fighting, Eisen pulls them apart

Eisen: Enough!!! Tsen come with me, Tzar keep searching for the kid, king Hirsch wants him dead!

Tsen: But that's not fair

Tzar: Ha ha, ha ha you have to leave, with the commander!

*Tsen exits with Eisen and Tzar looks around the room for a brief second then walks off smugly

*Physical theater with Tsen,Tzar and Eisen searching for Hugo, but Hugo being missed

*All characters exit the stage then king Hirsch comes on with his wife Queen Ente and they stand center stage,Eisen rushes on and bows before them

Eisen: Your majesty, you wanted to see me

*Eisen dramatically bows but everyone else ignores him, coughs as if to say notice me then gets fed up

Eisen: Nobody's noticing how magnificent my bow is

*Tsen, Tsar and hugo start laughing

Eisen: I shall have you know that I can kill you five different ways

king Hirsch: Oh commander you are here

Eisen: Oh its fine sir

* Eisen turns to the audience and does a silent fangirl squeal then turns back to the king

King Hirsch: Tell everyone that I have taken over as the new king of Acricani

Eisen: Well with all due respect you cannot, its against this kingdoms laws

king Hirsch : It isn't if the old king's son is out of the way

Eisen: (Nerously) Well.... he was out of the way but now he isn't

king Hirsch : How? you told me that you couldn't find him, so naturally I assumed he was as dead as a doornail

Eisen: Privates Tsen and Tzar found him in a cupboard a couple of minuites ago

king Hirsch: Bring the kid and those two bozos!! remember that you can easily be replaced

*Eisen leaves and shortly returns with Tsen,Tzar and Hugo in chains
