i went off looking for zoro while the mermaid was still on board so i could ask him to teach me how to swim while the surprise pool was still out.

i found him in the weights room with weights bigger than himself, sweat dropping i spoke up, "ne, zoro, could you come teach me to swim while we're stopped?".

he grunted and turned to look at me as i rubbed the back of my head embarrassed , he shook his head, i'm training i've got to if i want to be the worlds best swordsman" he said patiently.

i frowned as a hundred thoughts barrelled into my head all showing me the time pervy sage taught me how to do gravity seals, "the most important seal to know" he'd said.

we found out i was very good at sealing jutsu and i had only a beginners guid to seals with me right now the war got in my way of discovering and learning everything i could about seals.

i knew enough to put the gravity seals on zoro however they store chakra to make the weight and zoro doesn't have chakra.

sitting down in front of zoro i slumped down as i went into my mindscape to ask kurama or matatabi if what i was planning would work.

after the ok i regained awareness to find zoro's hand waving in front of my face , i smiled "ne zoro i could put a seal on you so you don't have to keep buying or using these ridiculous weights. and you would be training all the time." i said excited.

his eyebrow rose in interest and i unsealed my katana to show him the blade, "you can see it can't you zoro?"i asked. he could indeed see the intricate black pattern over the katana which made the blade heavier than usual.

"look i'll do the gravity seal if you teach me how to swim after, i said to him" after he agreed i sat zoro down and got him to remove his white shirt while i unsealed the traditional black sealing ink.

after around ten minutes the seal was ready and i forced a piece of matatabi's chakra into the seal along with some of my own, and created a signal that would signal when the weight came off and went back on.

after finishing the seal it disappeared into invisible lines across his body that looked like twisting chains around his arms.

i taught him how to release the weight and increase the weight, and he seemed very impressed.

smiling i lead him out to the pool shirtless with swimming trunks and jumped down to land on the water, while zoro dived in staying afloat.

after a gruelling hour of swimming i had finally mastered the doggy paddle and had managed to survive in the actual ocean.

getting back on the boat a low level wind jutsu was used to dry both zoro and i off. i sat next to the captain as they spoke back and forth about takayaki and what they were going to do about hachi.

i was zoned out when it happened. a shrill screaming filled the air forcing me to my knees and my hands over my ears as i attempted to stop the horrid sound. "agh aaggh!" i whimpered my face contorted in pain

and just as fast as it happened it had stopped, a hand was on my shoulder with two wide worried eyes staring down at me.

i rubbed my head in attempt to get rid of the headache groaning as i sat up with the help of my captain.

"what was that?" i mumbled, "Ah Gomen, gomen, i was speaking in the language of the fish, only part animal can hear that language" she questioned.

"huh, well i'm a ninja, my senses have been trained to the max since birth" i deadpanned in reply. knowing full well the fox made it 10 times worse than it would be for another ninja.

" ne, anyway the fish said they could lead us to the hideout but they can't take us all the way there!" Caime spoke up

i leaned over the rail to get a better look at the fish only to see them forming an arrow leading the way.

under neath the underneath huh, if i did that in this situation this is definiatly a trap, buuuuutttt i haven't had a fight since I've got here, they have zero idea of my fighting ability. i don't know what am i meant to do.

i'm sure captain will tell us what he wants us to do. i thought as i made my way to chopper to ask him for a pain reliever, intense headaches are a major problem to shinobi, without concentration lives can be lost.

once i had taken the pain reliever i joined in dancing with franky and captain to brooks amazing violin. suddenly ussop called out that there was a problem and i rolled my eyes, of course there is...

suddenly a sound could be heard in the distance from the sky, "oi, captain those flying fish guys are here coming in from the sky." i warned

looking up it was a few minutes before they were visible as they swooped around the ship.

suddenly bombs were dropped onto us and in pure instinct a shield of wind shot them back at the SLAVERS!.

i looked over to zoro and luffy who were looking at me, " gomen it's been drilled into me" i confided.

a spark of understanding entered luffys eyes confusing me but it let it go as the fish riders left. definitely a trap!

we made it to the horse shoe island and right in the middle was a person in a cage.. how much more obvious can you be.

i watched as the group disagreed with each other i don't care what the choice is, luffy is my new hokage, i will follow him and only him... his ship will take me on an adventure where i might discover a new dream!

'' oi gaki!, their attacking! stop spacing out and go all mojo crazy on them will ya!" snapped kurama

i ran after luffy as he beat me to the fish and grabbed my own willing it not to swim just yet because while i could doggy paddle there is no doubt i'd drown in the ocean.

at the same time the ship was getting attacked with bombs but i could see sanji looking after everyone. suddenly the order to dive was set and i knew i was screwed.

especially when a bomb hit my fish making it go unconscious

clinging on tightly i didn't harden the surface of the water because at the speeds we were going i'd certainly break a bone and then i'd have to fight with it.

so i allowed myself to sink into the water my jacket stuck on my sinking fish making any attempt at swimming pointless.

my air was almost gone as luffy hit me with his body as he sunk as well, using a wind jutsu a bubble appeared around us and we both regained our breath.

i was struggling to breathe and hyperventilating from all the water in my lungs but i could tell luffy was impressed with the bubble.

i was loosing energy as the fish dragged me down through the bubble and back into the ocean.

really the first fight?... ahahaha only you could do this brat! shut up you damn fox let me die in peace.

i thought as my arms suddenly burst into blinding pain forcing me to choke on the water , the mark was glowing brightly in the water and suddenly the water shot me the fish and luffy closer to the surface and straight into our searching nakama luffy still in his bubble.

i watched as zoro caught my closing eyes as i sunk faster and faster from the weight of the fish, i don't like flying fish, I've decided.

his arms adding extra weight to his gravity seals allowing him to sink faster, when he finally caught me i had already fallen into the inky blackness.

zoro pov

I watched as the idiots grabbed onto the flying fish, my main concern for luffy because naruto knew how to swim at least a little.

suddenly my eyes caught a movement that made me face palm naruto's jacket just HAD to get stuck in the fish motor, and it just had to go unconscious so he's basically as useless as luffy in the water right now.

i watched as both went under and as chopper and brooke ran in after idiots the lot of them. i groaned as i reflected another fish from attacking the mermaid and her friends, grabbing onto them i jumped them onto our ship so i could go fish out our young nakama.

taking my boots and shirt off, in a flash i was over the side searching.

it had taken around 10 minutes now and i was starting to worry. i had to go up for air 5 times already, sanji was protecting the mermaid while ussop and nami helped me search.

suddenly a huge ball of air a fish and something orange came flying at us and it was clear the bubble was luffy who happened to be perfectly fine watching naruto with barely contained concern today was not naruto's day.

looking down i saw his arms glowing white, yes arms, it seems as though the white tattoo i thought he had has spread to his other arm. and was so bright it looked as though it would burn.

swimming down i caught his eyes which were closing slowly into unconsciousness.

damit! adding as much weight as i could onto the gravity seals he placed on me i sunk as fast as i could to keep up with him. when i got to him his eyes had closed.

using my right hand i clamped it over his nose and mouth attempting to stop him from breathing in seawater.

and tugged him free from the fish motor allowing me to drop my gravity seals so i could swim him to air as fast as possible.

when i flopped him down on deck i could see luffy poking choppers face as chopper lay worn out on the deck.

"oi chopper, could you help me with naruto please he hasn't had much air in over ten minutes" i gently told the poor reindeer.

sitting up i put my shoes and shirt back on and strapped my swords into place while chopper cleared naruto's lungs.

his wheezing cough made me and luffy wince in sympathy.

"damn, i really don't like those fish" he coughed as he sat up his eyes watering from the salt water.

hey guys i'm planning on getting this book up to date with my other book

i have a case of OCD and its been hard to concentrate when all that goes through my mind is that this book is like 11 chapters smaller.

so i'm kinda updating this one until i can focus enough to write the other one
