When men began to multiply on the face of the earth, God said, "My spirit won't always strive with man, for that he also is flesh. Yet his days will be 120."

The giants, Nephilim, were on the earth in those days, and also afterwards.
When the sons of God lay with the daughters of men, their children became the Mighty Men which were of old, men of renown.

God saw the wickedness of man was great, every imagination of the thoughts of its' heart was continually evil. It repented the Lord and grieved His heart that He made every living creature on the earth. For earth was also corrupt and filled with violence before God.

But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. He was just a man, perfect in his generation, who walked with God. Saying to Noah, as He looked upon the earth, "The end of all flesh has come before me. The earth is filled with violence through them, and I will destroy all from the face of the earth."

God instructed Noah to make an ark of gopher wood, 3 stories with rooms, to be pitched inside and out. The length will be 300 cubits, the breadth 50 cubits, and the height 30 cubits. A window he'll make above, the door of the ark set on the side.

(The cubit is an ancient unit of length based on the distance from the elbow to the tip of the middle finger.)

"Within 7 days, I'll cause it to rain 40 days and 40 nights. Every living substance with the Breath of Life I have made will be destroyed, from under heaven and every thing that is in the earth will die." With Noah however, God established a covenant.

Noah, his wife, his sons and their wives are to go into the ark. Of every ave and clean beast take on by sevens, the male with his female. The beasts that are not clean take two, a male and his female, to keep alive. Gather all the food necessary for them and yourselves. So Noah did according to all that God commanded him.

Noah was 600 years old when the flood of waters came upon the earth. God said, "Come you, and all your house, into the ark, for you I've seen righteous." And the Lord shut them in.

On the 17th day of the 2nd month, all the Fountains of the Great Deep broke up and the Windows of heaven were opened.

The flood waters greatly increased lifting the ark up above the earth. The waters prevailed exceedingly, all the high hills under the whole heaven were covered 15 cubits above the highest mountain.

The Fountains of the Deep and the Windows of heaven were restrained. Every living substance of the ground was destroyed, and so it prevailed upon the earth for 150 days.

God, remembering Noah and the ark, caused a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters were abated. On the 17th day of the 7th month, the ark came to rest upon the Mountains of Ararat.

Decreasing continually, the 1st day of the 10th month the Mountaintops were seen.

After 40 days Noah opened the window and sent forth a raven. It went forth to and fro, until the waters were dried up from off the earth.
He also sent forth a dove, to see if the waters abated from off the face of the ground. The dove could found no rest for the sole of her foot and returned unto his hand, bringing her into the ark.

Waiting 7 days, again the dove is sent forth, returning to him in the evening. In her mouth was an pluckt olive leaf.

He waited another 7 days, and sent forth the dove, but she never returned to him.

In year 601, the 1st day of the 1st month, the waters were dried up. Noah removed the covering of the ark and behold, on the 27th day of the 2nd month, the ground was dry.
God spoke unto Noah, "Go forth of the ark, all of you, and multiply upon the earth."

Noah built an altar unto the Lord and of every clean beast and clean fowl he burnt the offerings. The Lord smelled a sweet savour, saying in his heart, "I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake. For the imagination of man's heart is evil from youth. Neither will I again smite any living thing as I have done."

Whilst the earth remained, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease. The fear and dread of you shall be upon every creature of the earth, into your hand are they delivered.

Every moving thing that lives shall be meat for you; even as the green herb I have given you all things.

But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, you shall not eat. Surely your blood of your lives will I require, at the hand of every beast will I require it.
At the hand of man, at the hand of every man's brother will I require the life of man.
Who so shed man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed, for in the image of God He made man.

God spoke unto Noah and his sons, "I establish my covenant with you: Never shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of a flood, neither shall there again be a flood to destroy all the earth. This is the token of the covenant which I make for perpetual generations. I will look upon my bow in the cloud and remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth."

Of the three sons of Noah the whole earth was overspread.

Noah began to be a husbandman, and planted a vineyard. Drinking of the wine, he was drunken and naked within his tent.

Ham saw the nakedness of his father and told his two brethren without. Shem and Japheth took a garment laying it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, covering the nakedness of their father.

Noah awoke from his wine and knew what his younger son had done, saying unto him, "Cursed be Canaan, a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren. Blessed be the Lord God of Shem. God shall enlarge Japheth and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem. And Canaan shall be their servant."

All the days of Noah were 950, and he died.
