Twilight and Garrett left Pinkie's house to go on a walk. "Like you said Garrett, we shouldn't hide any secrets from each other," said Twilight, "I know who you're talking about... And I should explain to you why... This was a year before I met you..." As Twilight and Garrett walked, Twilight explained to Garrett about that year's Friendship Festival, and how under The Storm King's orders, Tempest Shadow invaded Ponyville, and what she was ordered to do, and Storm King's intentions. She explained the journey she and her friends went on, and the new friends she made, her capture, and how she stopped The Storm King, and how Tempest redeemed herself.

"So Tempest Shadow is no longer evil?" Garrett asked. "Yep, and she goes by the name of Fizzlepop Berrytwist," replied Twilight, earning a chuckle from Garrett. "There's the Garrett Shimmer I know," she said, smiling, "anyway, we're going to meet her." They were outside where her house was. "Are you sure about this?" Garrett asked, hesitating. "Don't worry, it'll help," said Twilight, "and I'll be with you every step of the way." She kissed him on the cheek, and knocked on the door. "Wait here," she said. Garrett took a few steps back. A couple minutes later, the door opened. A tired mare unicorn with a broken horn peered in. It was Fizzlepop Berrytwist, without her armor. She didn't have a Cutie Mark. But she wore pajamas. 

"Princess Twilight?" Fizz yawned, "What're you doing here?" She was drowsy, having woken up. "Well, I was wondering if we could talk," said Twilight. "Alright, come on in," said Fizz as Twilight went in. "Do you remember anyone of the name Garrett or Sunset Shimmer?" Twilight asked. Fizz looked down and said, "Unfortunately, yes. That's a name I haven't heard in years... I've done many things I am not proud of. They will haunt me to the day I die. I know that it was the Shimmer family that Skoll Jaeger murdered." Twilight looked at her and said, "I've met Sunset and Garrett. I'm actually dating Garrett." Fizz gave a look of surprise and said, "You are?"

"That's why I'm mainly here," said Twilight, "I figured you and him should talk. Come on in Garrett." The stallion walked in, shutting the door behind him. Fizz looked shocked to see Garrett. Especially since he got big. "So you're Fizzlepop Berrytwist," said Garrett as he looked at her. "Yes, and you're Garrett Shimmer," she replied, "I know that you're angry. But you'll be relieved to know that Skoll Jaeger, the monster that murdered your parents, is dead."

"He is?" Garrett asked, and she nodded. "My former master," continued Fizz, "The Storm King, killed him to set an example..."

"What do you mean by 'former'?" Garrett asked. "I worked for the Storm King because he promised to give me back my horn which I lost. He double crossed me. After he betrayed me, I stopped him from killing Twilight," she replied, "thus resulting in his demise." Twilight nodded, confirming this. "You sacrificed yourself to save my beloved princess?" Garrett asked, earning a nod from her, "Why did you spare Sunny and I from being killed?"

"I may not have been the most honorable villainess," said Fizz, "but I draw the line on innocent young foals being killed." There was silence for a few minutes. "Fizzlepop, I want you to know that I forgive you for everything," said Garrett, "and I also want to thank you for saving me and my sister that day." Fizz wasn't sure what to say. Here she was, being forgiven for her past sins, and this stallion was kind and understanding. She was moved to tears. Garrett then hugged her. Fizz wasn't one for hugging, but she hugged him back.

A few minutes later, Twilight and Garrett left her house. "Feel better?" Twilight asked. "A lot actually," said Garrett, "you're the best." Twilight smiled and said, "Princess, friend, or Special Somepony?" Garrett smiled and said, "All of the above."
