Lesson Learned
A month went by and Paris was amazed that Emilie Agreste is back and that she filed a divorce that her husband will no longer be controlling his son ever again. Adrien announced that he doesn't want to be a model anymore because he was forced by his father instead of being famous.
The mansion has been remodeled into modern Gothic style since Adrien is titled as the prince of darkness in Paris. His mother respected his decision to retire from modeling and would let him be as he wished. Even if he's a vampire, she can see that there's nothing monstrous about him. She also approved that he and Marinette are a couple. She can't believe that her husband would be so strict with her son like that. Especially putting Adrien in direct danger by akumatized victims or not letting him have the freedom he deserves. But for now, her son has gotten the freedom he deserved.
Even if it turned into bad luck from that night he got bitten, he was getting used to being a vampire.
Right now, Emilie and Adrien are at the police station to see Gabriel Agreste. Emilie was still angry at her ex and she will never forgive him.
"Watch this" Adrien said and walks past the prisoners inside their jail cells and spotted a bad guy with his arms out on the jail bars glaring at him, "Hey big boy, wanna hold my hand?" He grabbed the prisoner's wrist and did a cartwheel flip to twist them.
"AAAHHHH!!!" The prisoner screamed.
His mother was not impressed but knows that he's healing from his father's strict rules. She shook her head and smiled that he's really growing up.
"That was very childish! Emilie, you're awake?" Gabriel in his jail cell was shocked to see his wife alive.
"Yes, thanks to my son who would never use a miraculous to wish me back. Tell me why you distant him? No excuses. I want the truth" Emilie glared at him.
"The truth? Okay then." Gabriel replied, seeing Adrien giving a warning before he starts telling, "I just wanted to be a happy family" Gabriel confessed.
"It would have been if you haven't obsessed too much with the power of the miraculous" Adrien glared.
"I was doing it for us!" Gabriel protested.
"No, you were only doing this for yourself. And you would win off the backs of everyone! If you knew I was Cat Noir, you would akumatize me to do your dirty work! Especially treating my kwami as a slave!" Adrien's eyes glowed red.
"What are you talking about?" Gabriel was confused.
"I looked into milady's mind and saw a possibility that could happen if I was akumatized" Adrien kept the Blanc fact short.
"Well, in that case, it's fortunate it never came to be," Gabriel said.
"But it did in an altered timeline. Your mind is blinded by insanity" Adrien said and let his mother speak.
"Gabriel, I never, ever wanted any of this to happen. You've failed me" Emilie said.
"Failed you?! You know how much power I had to give up to get you out of the coma?!" Gabriel ranted.
"If I was really dead, you have the responsibility of taking care of Adrien. Do you have any idea how much he went through isolation because of you? You have barely been there for him!" Emilie glared at him.
"All I've done is for him to be the perfect son, one without any flaws! His friends were such a bad influence on him!" Gabriel protested.
"Did he really want to be perfect? All you did was force him. He wanted to have a new life of his own, Gabriel. And I met his friends and I don't see anything wrong with them. They are like a family to him. They make him happy. Gabriel, Adrien is a grown man, not some trophy you use for your brand company. Don't you ever accuse his friends as a bad influence!" Emilie was this close to slapping him, even if he's behind bars, literally, "No, Gabriel. I see now that you are a bad influence on him" She added.
"I'M THE BAD INFLUENCE?!" Gabriel exclaims.
"When was the last time you ever did something nice for Adrien?" Emilie asked.
Gabriel became silent for a moment. There was nothing he did anything nice for Adrien. Like giving him a pen for his birthdays did not make him happy. He never let Adrien invite his friends to the mansion because it was forbidden, "Nothing" He admitted.
"That's what I thought. You failed as a father and a husband. Goodbye, Gabriel" Emilie said and left with Adrien.

A while later, Adrien was at Marinette's place because he needed to see his cousin in London by using the Horse miraculous but Marinette wants him to not do anything aggressive towards Felix.
"Adrien, don't try anything drastic" Marinette begged.
"Bat and cat's honor" Adrien held his hand as a promise, "I'm just angry at him but I would never kill him. He's still my cousin"
"Good, here's the horse miraculous" She hands the glasses to him.
He puts on the glasses and Kalkki came out, "Kalkki, full gallop" He transformed into Stallion, "Voyage!" He creates a portal to London.
"Good luck my Stallion," Marinette said.
He went in and that he's on top of the Big Ben, "Kalkki, dismount" He transformed back to Adrien and puts the miraculous in his pocket, "Now to find him" He morphed into a bat and flew to find the mansion of Graham de Vanily, "Now we got unfinished business" Bat Adrien said to himself.
He found the mansion and used telekinesis to unlock the lock window from the inside of Felix's bedroom. He doesn't see him but he hears a heartbeat close by, "He's close" He whispered.
He got inside and looked for him, thunder flashing outside. He kept his promise not to harm him but if Felix tries to harm him, he would have no choice.
"I knew you would come to London, cousin" He heard Felix and he turns around with a cold glare.
"Miss me much?" Bat Adrien morphed into human form.
"Yeah, Count Adrien" Felix showed himself.
"Don't even try to fight me, Felix. I'm very strong." Adrien said but noticed the holy cross necklace he's wearing, "Anyways, did your mommy grounded you? You kinda deserved it"
"Yes, I'm under house arrest. With this on, you can't bite me" Felix replied.
"I bit you the first time but I didn't turn you" Adrien walks on the walls and onto the ceiling, "You knew my father was hiding something and you did nothing but keep that to yourself. If I was human, I would be trapped with him"
"And now thanks to me, your mother was discovered," Felix said.
Adrien startled him by jumping down from the ceiling, ignoring the pain from the holy cross, "And you didn't even tell the police about my father's crimes. You're such a coward. You're just like him"
"Not exactly! He threatened me once!" Felix protests.
"But you made a deal with him by trading the miraculous for the peacock brooch. You know my father is insane and making deals with villains is never the best move. Hawk Moth doesn't care for anyone. My father only cares about power" Adrien explained, "He lost my mother the same way you lost your father. Both of you are corrupted with madness"
"And yet you let your father pull your strings a lot. I did try to tell you to stop letting your father tell you what to do but you chose not to disobey him. That's the problem, you let nasty people take advantage of you and twist up your life" Felix glared.
"Not anymore, Felix! You need to stop holding a grudge just because I never came to your father's funeral! It's not my fault!" Adrien's eyes glowed red.
"It still is. You always chose to obey your father. Way before you were human. That Japanese girl Kagami was right. It's never about you at all" Felix said, holding the holy cross to protect himself.
"Shut up!" Adrien snarled and hissed in pain from the holy cross getting close.
"Admit it, cousin! Admit that you could never stand up to him as a human!" Felix demanded.
"That was the old me! Yes, I couldn't!" Adrien groans in pain.
"But you did as a vampire. You're always the same naive boy as I remember. You were afraid to face the truth" Felix walks up to the window, "Ever since I was in your place, I knew your father was hiding something and you decided not to find out"
"And you should have told me about it but you didn't!" Adrien tried to get up.
"Paybacks a bitch, cousin. What goes around, comes around. I wonder why a vampire bit you in the first place" Felix said and did not flinch when Adrien nearly bit his neck from behind but could not do it since he kept his promise to his lady.
"It's merely an incident, I'm just a random victim!" Adrien replied.
"A stupid incident you got yourself into. Tell me, Adrien. Do you hate humans? Are you afraid they'll stab your heart with a wooden stake? I saw you killed those thugs." Felix glared.
"I don't hate humans, Felix. But I do hate bad guys. I just feed on blood because if I don't, I die. Or worse, attack humans like a savage animal" Adrien said.
"If that's the case, Paris must have a hell of a supply of them," Felix said.
"Also, blood keeps a vampire young and fresh, like my foster father Dracula looks like a man in his prime but is centuries old," Adrien said.
"Hmph, is this another fantasy story? Dracula is just a vampire character from fiction and movies" Felix did not believe him.
"Where do you think I got the bat medallion as Cat Noir?! He's very much real as vampires are now!" Adrien replied.
"So you're not lying this time?" Felix asked.
"No, that's also why I went to Transylvania," Adrien said.
"And it looks like you enjoy being a vampire." Felix scoffed.
"Almost except those weaknesses like sunlight and that cross of yours" Adrien replied.
"I noticed. But immortality is a curse you know. I heard your father wanted one so he can live and save your mother. You're right, he is a madman. You should've turned me. I deserved to suffer like you did" Felix said angrily.
"No, your mother needs you, Felix. I know your father makes you happy but you still have your mother to take care of you. If your father saw what you had done, he would be disappointed in you. He's at peace now and it's time that you let him go" Adrien said.
Felix suddenly got quiet at what Adrien said to him, "You mean I have to start a new leaf?" He then spoke out.
"Yes. Everyone loses loved ones that pass away every day. We can't control their deaths, Felix. They go into a better place. Nothing stays the same forever" Adrien explained.
"But has your soul gone into a resting place?" Felix gestures to the mirror, noticing that Adrien cast no reflection.
"Not yet, but death is always inevitable," Adrien said and saw the picture frame of young Felix, his mom, his aunt, and himself, "I still remember those days, Felix" He walks up to it.
"Those days are over, vampire boy. The day I came to Paris, I put you in danger. At least now you don't have to deal with him anymore, you're free like a bat. Yet you're still annoying as usual" Felix said as thunder flashed outside and he got startled by Adrien reappearing in front of him.
"I didn't come here for revenge, Felix. I came here to see how you're doing. Hoping one day you start to change and not make the same dumb mistake again. Remember, I saved your life a few times and you owe me" Adrien said, fangs pointing out.
"Y-Yes Cousin" Felix stammered.
"If you ever trick me again, I'll make sure I remember to turn you" Adrien hissed.
"Got it!" Felix nods in fear.
"Now then, while you're under house arrest, I hope you learn your lesson," Adrien said, morphing into a bat and flying out the window.

The next night, Adrien really missed the bakery sweets at the best bakery in Paris. He was at the park with Marinette having croissants, macaroons, and warm milk.
"Still as good?" Marinette guessed.
"Always," Adrien said.
"I can't believe your vampire stomach accepts normal food instead of just blood" Marinette was amazed.
"Well blood is mostly to keep us alive and fresh" Adrien replied, holding a croissant in his hand.
"And to calm your hunger down" Marinette gave a macaroon to Tikki and herself.
"Exactly" Adrien replied.
"I know what's on your mind. You miss being in daylight" Marinette said and ate her macaroon.
"Yes, I do. But I can be out during the day when the clouds cover the sun or apply sunscreen" Adrien said.
"Heh, but I guess you'll have to rise and shine in the moonlight instead of sunlight. The moon is your friend now" Marinette giggled.
"Yep, after all, I'm the night guardian" Adrien joked.
"You're the cat and cats are always nocturnal" Marinette smirked.
"Mmhmm.....sometimes I think you find my fangs scary awesome. This feels like Twilight reality" Adrien said, eating his croissant.
"Then I'm your Bella" Marinette smiled.
"Shall I taste your delicious neck?" Adrien was about to bite her neck but Marinette shoved an apple on his fangs, "Agh! I was just kidding" He muffled but sucked the juice from the apple.
"Sure you are." She said with a smug grin.
"Yep" Adrien finished the apple.
"Love is stronger than your big appetite, chaton" Marinette kissed him on the lips.
Adrien held her close as they shared a kiss together, "Nothing changes anything, milady" He said and kissed her bitten neck.
"I know. I'm just so happy we're together" Marinette said.
"Mmmm, with the Ladybug and Cat Noir connected again as Yin and Yang," Adrien said.
