Chapter Thirteen: Royal University of Atlantis

A/n: How are you all? Hope you're all doing well!

The next day, before Kousei was allowed to get out of the black Royal Car, his father had informed him that he would be talking to the school's Dean of Education and principal of Senior High School.

For a while, he was left to sit inside it with his bodyguard and Personal Butler. As he kept on looking around, he could see a lot of students wearing bright red uniforms or velvet uniforms. His eyes are truthfully filled with a lot of excitement. "How long will I wait? It's taking hours already," he asked Edward.

"Don't worry, Your Highness. I'm sure your father would allow you to study in the university," replied Edward.

Minutes later, his father returned with his secretary. Secretary Daniel Newman.

Edward went out of the car and opened the door for the crown prince. Kousei went out of it immediately and stared at his father after he stood beside him.

"What took you so long?" he asked his father.

Emperor Richard III chuckled while Daniel and Edward lowered their heads. "I can see in your eyes that you are excited. I needed to talk to the two important teachers here. I'll introduce you to Dean Victor Hernandez and the principal of the Highschool Department, John Lopez."

They walked around the university after that. Kousei saw how huge and enormous Royal University is. There are a lot of students, faculty, and school staffs. There are a lot of different buildings, facilities and restaurants all over the university.

Royal University of Atlantis offers elementary, junior high school, senior high school and a variety of different colleges. A lot of students and teachers stop walking to bow to them until they reached the Office of the Dean. He was immediately welcomed by the Dean of Education upon entering. Only the emperor and the crown prince were allowed to enter the office. Their staff needed to wait outside the office.

...

"Good morning, Your Majesty," he spoke up. "To you too, Young Your Highness."

He took his hand and welcomed Kousei. After a while, they sat face to face in front of two black couches.

"Your Majesty, is it fine to break from tradition? You and your predecessors studied with Royal Tutors," he asked them. "We nurture kids from your close to distant relatives and few new noble families but Crown Princes and young princes like he was before were taught inside the Royal Palace."

"I have to take into account that Kousei lived in Japan where he studied inside a traditional and commoner school system just like how you follow with a bit of difference. My son wanted to learn here just like how he does long ago. There is no royal rule that I can't let my son here, so, I hope you take care of him. He's going to be a better emperor than I if he does learn to socialize without being treated too special. It will be better for his foundation to socialize with the sons and daughters of aristocrats and nobles," Emperor Richard III replied to him. "I am allowing his classmates and his teachers not to take a bow to him while he is in the High School Department. My son would have to learn how to respect his teachers and seniors."

The Dean was really surprised by what the Emperor told him. "Well then, Your Majesty, he can go now to John Lopez."

...

Upon the time they entered the Principal's Office, John Lopez, an old man with black eyeglasses took a bow at him. His father and the principal talked together again. A few minutes later, John welcomed the Crown Prince. "I will be guiding you to your school adviser. From this moment on, you'll be alone now."

"Thank you," he said. Then he asked, "Sir?"

"Yes, Your Highness," he smiled at him. "Treat me naturally like all other students but we will be treating you more than the students here since we are now tasked by your father to train you. You know who you are, Your Highness. You're the future emperor."

"Thank you, sir," he told him. He took a deep breath. He knew so well that his teachers will be very strict to him just like how strict his father is to him.

They walked in the hallways of the High School Department where a lot of students we're loitering around. A lot of them were shocked and some girls giggled upon the time they saw him walking with the principal. Upon the time they reached the High School Department Faculty, he was introduced to his advicer, Natalie Grace. She is a young woman with mesmerizing green eyes and blonde hair. She and the other faculty members were definitely surprised to see Kousei standing with John Lopez. They were about to bow or curtsy to him but then, he stopped them.

"Dad said that when I'm here, you'll treat me more than as a Crown Prince," he gulped and continued, "He said that you have to be more strict to me and while I'm in school, I won't receive any bowing or curtsying."

Natalie felt confused until John cleared it up. "Tomorrow will be Kousei's official start to learn here. For now, he had to be introduced to the children he would interact with."

All faculty members were surprised. At the same time, he was finally introduced to Natalie. She smiled at him. "So, you'll be one of my students then. That's good. Hoping you do good at school, Your Highness."

"Thank you, ma'am," he spoke up.

"I'll be leaving him to you, Natalie. You better introduce him to his classmates who would surely be shocked," he said to her.

"Ahhh! Yes, sir!" answered Natalie. A lot of other teachers were surprised and was amazed that she would be handling the son of the emperor. For a while, they kept their surprise.

Of course, when Kousei was already introduced, the students of the first year senior high school, Room I- 108, his new classmates were amazed, happy and excited.

"I'll be here tomorrow again as your new classmate after I had my materials," he told them. "I hope you treat me normally and I wish I'll be able to get close to you all."
