Watari Ryouta, Sawabe Tsubaki and Miyazono Kaori joined Kousei who's wearing his white royal uniform for a while in front of the airplane inside the Tokyo Airport. He is about to board the Royal Atlantian Airplane, The Royal Star Plane. The Royal Star Plane is the private plane of Atlantian Royalties. It was also the airplane that brought Kousei and his mother in Japan. He does have a five armed bodyguards at his back wearing white suits and black sunglasses.
"I'll miss you," Kousei told Kaori while his tears fall down his eyes. "I hate it that my brother passed away and I had to suddenly return home."
Kaori held his hands and dried his tears. "I don't care that you are a Prince. What's important to me was for you to be happy. I'll always be here to support and love you."
Kousei hugged her. "Thank you for understanding me."
At the same moment, he said his goodbyes to his childhood friends. "Thank you for the friendship, I hope our friendship won't break even when I begin my royal duties and responsibilities."
"Don't worry, Prince Kousei. You're still a friend to us," Watari Ryouta assured him.
After all of his farewells, he bowed in front of other officials like the Japanese Prime Minister and the Japanese Emperor who came to see him before he left Japan.
"Thank you for all the help you gave me and my mother. Now, it's time for me to move on," Kousei said to them. "Thank you for letting me live here in Japan even after my mother passed away."
"Good luck on your new journey, Prince Nathan 'Kousei' Arima. Be who you must be. I am sure you'll be a good Crown Prince," Emperor Yasume said to him. He took a bow in front of the emperor as a sign of respect before he walked at the stairs placed in front of the opening of the plane. He was followed by his bodyguards and some chosen journalists from Atlantis, documenting his travel back to his home country.
After he had boarded and sat on one of the gold luxury seats of the Royal Plane, he waved goodbye to his friends. Secretary Frederick, Seto Hiroko and Edward, Kousei's butler have boarded the plane after Kousei entered the plane with his bodyguards. The door of the plane closed soon. Everyone he loved had already moved away from the runway. The plane began moving with its wheels until it began flying up to the sky, miles away from the land where he had came from.

Seto Hiroko and Edward became very anxious when they saw Kousei grieve on his seat hours after the plane had set off to travel back in the Empire of Atlantis. Kousei still can't accept that the reason why he's going back in Atlantis was all because his brother passed away. He can't forget how much he was loved by his brother before he had left with his mother to stay in Japan for a while. If his brother's really dead, he knew that he would miss his brother's warm smile and soft gaze at him when he was still very young. His brother had always taken care of him while he ran around the rose gardens of the palace. They were very close indeed. He could also remember that he taught him piano alongside his mother. The sounds of the piano would always make him remember his mother and his brother.
Hiroko sat in front of him and held his right hand. His companions in the plane did not say anything to him. They know that Kousei needed to grieve. She's also not that worried that he would go back to his monotone world since he still could see light because of his love for Miyazono Kaori.
"How did my brother die, Seto- san?" Kousei asked them while his tender tears cascade down his eyes. "I want to know. I want to believe that it's all a joke and my father just wanted me to return home!"
Seto Hiroko looked down at him with pity. "Prince Kousei, your brother passed away because of a car accident. The Atlantian Royal Police Department are still investigating how your brother got in a deadly accident. When we return, you'll be able to see him for a few days before he is buried."
Kousei looked down and just stared at the white clouds he could see while they're still on air. His brother had passed away and as the sole male royal after his elder brother's death, he's the only eligible to replace the position of his father. He is afraid of the challenges of becoming a future Emperor. As a Crown Prince, there would be more security surrounding him and he'll instead receive limited free movement. He doesn't know why his elder sister couldn't replace his brother instead. In the Atlantian Constitution, only male heirs can become leaders and women are never eligible. When princesses marry commoners, they stay as royalties and they could also bring up candidates on becoming future emperors if ever the Emperor is unable to rear male heirs or children at all. Kousei is the sole son of the emperor from his second wife. He automatically became the Crown Prince after the death of his brother even he has two elder sisters from his father's first wife, Empress Adrianna. He is the youngest Atlantian Monarch from the dynasty that rules the empire.
"The five years I lived in Japan feels like a dream," Kousei said to Hiroko. "I'm returning home because of my brother's death."
Seto Hiroko pitied Kousei. She knows, too, that a month after the empire mourn for the death of the late Crown Prince Leonardo, Kousei will be crowned as the new Crown Prince but even right now, as the only direct male descendant of the Emperor, he will receive duties as the Crown Prince even if he isn't crowned yet.
"I will support you. Your friends in Japan are on your back, too. I am sure they would help you move on your new life back in Atlantis," Seto Hiroko warmly said to him. His eyes had become puffy and tired because of all the tears he had.
"Thank you," Kousei replied to her.
"Go to rest, Your Highness. You need it," she said after she kissed his forehead. Kousei obeyed and closed his eyes on his seat.
...
A young, female flight attendant wearing a gold uniform gave Edward Thomas a silk blanket half an hour later. After he had it, he stood up from his seat and covered the sleeping prince with the blanket. Kousei stirred a bit but he stayed asleep.
Just like Seto Hiroko, he's also very concerned for the welfare of the young prince.
"I hope you will be able to carry the weight of being an heir, Your Highness," he silently murmured. "We won't let something happen to you, too."
...
