At the time the Royal Plane landed in Atlantis, flocks of chosen journalists and photographers organized by the Imperial Household of the Empire of Atlantis began taking pictures and reporting about the return of the youngest prince who does have Japanese blood. He was hidden in Japan to study, learn his mother's culture and accompany his sickly mother. Now that his mother had passed away and he's finished with junior high school, he was allowed to leave Japan to take part on the Burial of Crown Prince Leonardo who had an accident days before Kousei graduated.

He was really scheduled to return in the Empire of Atlantis at the same time to rest for a while and visit his father but due to the unexpected death of the late crown prince, he had become the next heir to the throne of Atlantis and is the lead heir before his two cousins from his father's brother, Prince Christopher, Duke of Lake of Aphrodite.

Arima Kousei slowly stepped down the plane with Seto Hiroko, Frederick Dane and Edward Thomas. They were followed by five armed bodyguards. He walked on the red carpet placed on the staircase. He was met by the Atlantian Prime Minister, PM Henry Phillips (50 years old) and Senator Benedict Fitzgerald (35 years old) after he had gone down the staircase already.

They both knelt in front of him as a show of respect and kissed his right hand as a gesture that he holds a higher position from them after the death of his brother. "We are honored to meet you, Prince Nathan Arima. We are mourning, too, after we learned that your brother have passed away," PM Henry told him. The prime minister does have grey hair and grey mustache. He's also almost a six-footer man .

Arima Kousei felt culture-shocked by how they act around him.

Edward had noticed his surprised reaction and so, he explained why they had to do it as he enter the black car after the young politicians were done welcoming him back.

"Your Highness, you are the crown prince now and the future emperor. You have to be used to these traditional gestures," he said to him.

He took a deep breath and sat comfortably inside.

Seto Hiroko joined him inside the car with a bodyguard and a chaffeur in front of them. "Are you alright?"

"I lived for five years in Japan and no one curtsies around me. It's all new to me again. They don't act like that as well before when I was nine years old. I'm fourteen and about to be fifteen a week from now," Kousei answered him. "I miss living in Japan already. My life there is simple."

"You're the only male heir and direct son of Emperor Richard III, now. Do you want your cousins to take your place? I have heard that your older cousins dream to be the Crown Prince. The emperor wants you instead of them," she said to him while they are on their journey to the Walled City of Atlantis, an enormous, 80 hectares complex where the Phoenix Royal Palace, the Phoenix Senate Building and the Phoenix Justice Building is.

The Walled City of Atlantis is Kousei's birth place.

Seto Hiroko immediately became Kousei's caretaker from the moment he was born in the Walled City since she is Japan's Ambassador in Atlantis fifteen years ago.

The Walled City is located at the center of the continent of Atlantis.

The continent of Atlantis is located at the South of Greenland and North of South America. It is at the East of United States of America and Canada while it is at the West of Europe.

The Empire of Atlantis is an imperfect oval-shaped country connected to Greenland by a narrow, ice isthmus.

Kousei gazed out of the window of the car and he had observed that the Athena City where they currently are, did not change significantly. It's still the same city influenced by the Roman Empire and Greek Empire. The buildings are tall and unpainted.

"I miss my family badly, Hiroko," he told her. "Do you think they miss me?"

...

Upon the time the convoy arrived at the Walled City of Atlantis (It is at the center of the Atlantian Empire), Center of the Political World of Atlantis. An enormous, golden gate engraved with the Phoenix Bird opened. The convoy slowly began to move again after that.

After six years of his stay in Japan, he knew he's back inside his birth place when he saw the modern skyscrapers of schools like Royal Knight University (a Colosseum), Royal Military Academy and Royal University. The Justice Ministry Building and the Ministry Tower is also in the Walled City but the most prominent of all is the twenty-hectares Walled Royal Vicinity or more commonly known as the Phoenix Royal Palace.

It is situated at the very north of the Walled City. It is prohibited to build buildings that obscure the Phoenix Royal Palace and so, most of the buildings inside were only at its east and west side and back where a huge, Greenhouse or Glass House is located.

The Phoenix Royal Palace is made with adobe stones and granite and steel. It is embellished with gold and silver in every corner. There are four enormous towers where the flags of Atlantis are positioned. Inside it are servant houses, guardhouses, chapels and the Royal University of Atlantis where only nobles are allowed to study alongside the members of the Royal Family.

The convoy entered another large, golden gate engraved with three stars in front of it. They parked at a small garden filled with green bushes and pine trees.

Kousei's chauffeur opened the door of the car for him and upon the time he got out of the car, he was able to see that they would be walking for a few miles before they reach the Royal Residence when he saw a long, narrow, road where a lot of pine trees hide it.

Just like some eastern countries, he was surprised that there is a silver palanquin waiting for him.

Edward and Frederick knelt in front of him. "We'll be carrying you through out the last journey, Your Highness. The journalists and the reporters aren't allowed to follow from here on. Only the Royal Family and their servants are allowed to accompany you," Frederick said to him.

He took a deep breath. "I understand. Thank you."

He sat on it with a window and roof. Slowly, he was carried by four of his bodyguards with Edward, Fred, Seto Hiroko and the captain of his bodyguards follow him.

They have reached the Royal Residence when the sun had already set.

Kousei looked out and he sighed deep upon the time he saw the golden palace before him where he had lived all through out his early childhood.

The facade of the Royal Residence is influenced with Greek Architecture but the designs of the walls are still very much ancient due to it that it had been standing ever since the ancient times when the Empire of Atlantis and Egypt were still in close ties. Most of the walls were decorated with hieroglyphics but when Renaissance came, a fountain and grotto were made in front of the Royal Residence.

Some of the hieroglyphics were hidden by some other sliding doors where there are doors engraved with angels and ornaments influenced by Christianity when the first Christian Atlantian Empire ruled them.

Upon the time the palanquin was already laid down, Seto Hiroko helped him stand and get out of it. They saw the Emperor and Empress walk near them and so, they all took a bow to them. Emperor Richard III gazed at his son and smiled gracefully at him who's also kneeling before them. "You grew up nicely. You look like your mother rather than I. Even so, you have my eyes and build."

"Dad," Kousei began to look at the eyes of his father.

He stepped closer to his son and knelt, too. "Forgive me if I wasn't able to join you in Japan the day your mother passed away."

Kousei began crying when his father spoke to him. He hugged his father and cried. "I missed you so much, dad! It's okay, dad. I have already forgiven you."

At the same time, Empress Adrianna, a beautiful and sophisticated lady with very fair skin hugged him, too after Emperor Richard III helped his son up.

She dried his tears and said to him, "I'm glad you're home before we bury your brother tomorrow at the Royal Cemetery."

"Can I see him?" he asked her.

"Of course, Kousei. You'll be able to see him today," she spoke to him.

"Thank you, Your Majesty," he said to her.

She grinned. "No. Call me mother from now on, Kousei."

Kousei felt really grateful upon the time he heard her say those words. He may have lost a mother but in his return in Atlantis, he gained a new, loving mother.

"Mother," he spoke up. The word warmly covered his being and made him comfortable and soften around her. "Thank you."
