Long long time ago, (well, not too long xD), there live a bamboo cutter who cuts bamboo to make a living for himself and his wife. But the two elderly didn't have a child.

One day, the bamboo cutter chance by this shining bamboo, he wonder what it was and went nearer to the bamboo out of curiosity. He chop the bamboo down and to his surprise it was a baby 'girl'.

'She' seem like a princess send by heaven, he carried 'her' back home and told his wife how he found this little 'baby' and the both were delighted as the bamboo cutter thanks heaven.

"Wow, she seem like a little princess, she's so beautiful~" The bamboo cutter wife said.

And within months, she grew to be of a young age. "Momma~ Let me help you~" Kaguya said. "Sure but do be careful~" "Hai!~" Kaguya said as she help her 'mother'.

And within another month (let's pretend it's a year already xD), Kaguya grew up to be of a fine princess/woman. She indeed is very beautiful. The bamboo cutter took the money and put it in a drawstring pouch and told his wife and Kaguya that they will be moving to the Central in 1 week time.

1 week had passed. As said, the bamboo cutter had moved to Central. And to celebrate Kaguya, 4 high-ranked prince was called to come along with everyone in Central to celebrate the Princess naming.

Kaguya ask them to find 4 rare treasures. (I'm lazy to type all the 4 or 5 rare treasures xD). The 4 high prince didn't agree at first but the bamboo cutter told them just do as the princess said and the heed off to find the 4 rare treasures.

2 days passed. You, from the villages came to Central too for some special reason (whatever you can think off xD). But the ceremony was still held by then.

Blinking, and out of curiosity, you walk nearer to the "castle" or "mansion" that's build for Kaguya. The bamboo cutter saw you and ask you to come in and join the ceremony and since you had nothing on later, you proceed in as told.

Pondering, you thought what's the occasion about because you just came to Central not long and had no clue about a single thing. Why is there so many people? You slowly move closer to some few people and eavesdrop. They were saying that this mansion had a very beautiful princess living in and etc. (I'm sorry, I'm lazy to type xD if you want, go and watch 'The tale of the bamboo cutter' xD this is just Shoutan version similar to the story xD)

'There is a beautiful princess in this mansion? What?! Hm, I'm really curious now. But how do I meet her? Or can I even-' You look around the scenery, it's indeed very beautiful.

2 weeks passed since then. The 4 high noble prince have return with 'fake' treasures. (I'm lazy to type day by the day which high noble prince bring what treasure back xD I'm sorry for being a lazy-ass writer xD)

The first prince came in with the sparkling golden fruit branch (at least I wrote here xD). "Kaguya, look at how beautiful is this, I went my suffering day to get this from the mountain."

Kaguya giggled. "Then would you like to explain to me how did you get that treasure?" The prince cough before he start telling her how he got the treasure and soon the workman craft came and said that he haven't pay him for making that 'shining golden branch'. The Prince ran off and Kaguya told the bamboo cutter to pay the craftsman well.

The second prince came with the asked treasure. (Tbh, I can't remember all the 4/5 rare treasures xD) "I have bought the treasure back!" The prince said with joy and so Kaguya ask the prince how he got the treasure too but still, it's a fake. It's the fire-rat skin. Kaguya ask the prince to put fire on the rat skin and told the prince if the fur didn't burn out, it means it's the real thing and 'she' will marry him.

The prince gulp and ask one of his servant to put fire on the 'fake fur' and indeed it's really fake. It burn the fur in less than no time, the prince cried and ran away. "My only treasure!!" He cried.

Another prince came afterwards with a fake bowl. "I've came back with the bowl from Horai(india)!" He said and place it down. "Then would you like to tell me how you got the bowl?" Kaguya giggled. The prince cough. "Sure."

He then explain how he got the bowl. Yet, it's another fake. The bowl was but from bird nest. It was just painted and etc. Soon, the paint peel off since its made from straw. "No, no..!" The prince took the bowl and ran away.

Kaguya sigh. "It was but all fake..." and soon not long you return back. You came to the mansion again, standing outside the main door. 'How I wish I'm able to see her.. She must be so beautiful..' You thought. 'It would be a great pleasure to meet her...'

Kaguya mother happen to saw you and greeted you. '!' You quickly bow back and she ask you to come in. "T-thank you!" You walked in the mansion awkwardly.

You squat down in front of the 'princess'. Then Kaguya dad suddenly ask his wife why did she let you in and everything. You gaze at the mat covering the 'princess'. From the mat, she's able to see you but you're not able to see her.

Kaguya blush. 'She...' Kaguya smile and open the mat up and come out. You gaze at 'her', jaw drop. 'Shes really beautiful..' "Kaguya, you should remain inside!" The 'bamboo cutter' said. "I can do what I like, poppa." 'She' smile as 'she' reach an arm out. You, of course took her hand and then 'she' started running to her room and get clothes and went into the toilet to change to a guy clothing and remove the extension. Kaguya came out of the toilet in guy's clothing and short hair.

You blush. He look just like Aoi. Kaguya smile and wink. "Keep it a secret, I'm actually a guy, well, poppa and momma know but no one else does. It's a little secret between you and me~"

He smile and took your hand. "What's your name?" A moment, you kept quiet because he's too beautiful even if he's a guy! "A-ah, I'm sorry.. My name is (l/n) / (f/n)." Aoi smiles. "You can call me Luna. That's my stage name~ Can I call you (f/n)*" You nod. "Y-yes."

"Ne, if I were to be reincarnated/reborn.." His smile suddenly drop. "Then we will meet again and sing together to make everyone happy." (I won't give spoilers but Shoutan as Kaguya sang for the villagers, that's all I could say, try to find and watch xD~) Aoi nod. "Mhm!" He then took your head and heed out, taking a stroll with you until evening and back home and change out, back into his princess costume and the extension.

Kaguya begged his parents to let you stay here with 'her' and they agreed. The next following day, August 15. The 4 prince found out that actually the princess is a guy! They've been tricked! They were furious and mad and they plan to search for Kaguya and assassinate him.

Finally, they found him, Kaguya parents begged them to spare his live and they said they've been trick and they almost killed him when you make appearance. "He's not at fault! Kill me instead." Kaguya shook his head. "No, that lady is innocent, she doesn't know anything!"

"Well, whatever!" One of the prince said. "We just need to kill you and we're done!" Another prince said. You widen your eyes. "No..."

Just right then, evening came. The moon was already visible. The moon people came down and rescue Kaguya saying they're from the moon and they apologize without informing Kaguya for coming down.

The four prince got scared and step back. "Kaguya..right?" The queen of the moon said. Kaguya nod. "Yes, I'm Kaguya." "We're here to escort you back."

"No! Never!" You said. "Please don't take her away.." You cried. ".... (y/n), you know..im really happy to meet you..im glad I wasn't late to meet you..thank you.." Kaguya smile. "...." He turn and face the queen of the moon and the moon people. "I'll go." "Thank you, Kaguya." He turn and look at you. "Please do not cry, please smile the last time for me.." You continue crying but you smile as you cried. "I'll deliver your song to everyone..Kaguya." He nod.

"Thank you, (y/n)." Kaguya smile. "If I were to be reborn/reincarnate..." "Then we'll meet!" They escort her into the carriage and back to the moon.

A few year passed, you were now an adult. You were strolling across the street, you chance by this guy who is quite tall, leaning against the wall and humming. You walk up to him and ask who is he and he said he is Aoi Shouta.

You widen your eyes and suddenly cried before hugging him. "...? Miss? Do we know each other...?" 'We really met again..Kaguya..' You smile to yourself before releasing the hug. "Let the both of us create a song to make everyone happy!" Aoi look at you before nodding and shook hands with you.

I'm sorry for another short story >< I can't really phrase out everything of "Princess Kaguya" or "Prince Kaguya", I don't really wanna give too much spoilers too. Anyway, I skip on a lot of scene as its not really important especially the part on the King's scene.
