The real her

(Dan's Pov)

We watched as royalty sat down. Our parents and the neighboring kings and queens. The church was packed with people. I became sick to my stomach, it was too late to do anything. I was going to marry a girl and be next to a girl who I wished I married.

My bother and I were waiting for the ceremony to start at the alter. It was perfect... till an hour passed and whispers were had. (Y/N) was gone. No one could find her. Yet they said Miki and I would still get married.

"What's going on," whispered Phil standing next to me. "I don't know, she's not the type of girl to be late," I whispered back. "This is troublesome," I heard my brother say to his best man. "Troublesome? He should be devastated," I thought. "Attention everyone," The King stood up and everyone hushed as he continued, "there will still be a wedding. Princess Miki is still here," he smiled. I didn't even give it a second thought, I ran...

Down the aisle, to the castle, and into the library. I knew her favorite place to hide. "(Y/N)!?"I yelled. No answer. Damn it! I ran up the stairs of the library, "(y/n)!!!?" I yelled. There was still no answer, but I heard something.

I headed crying. The top floor of the library behind the fantasy section that her parents hated. She looked beautiful even when she's like this. That wedding dress suited her perfectly. I just wanted to hold her. To tell her how much I loved her, and how everything would be all right. Yet everything froze when we locked eyes.

It was as if I fell into the Tiger's cage. She turned to me, her face in complete rage as tears escaped her eyes. "Are you here to tell me to go back!! You think I fucking want this!! I know you're OK with this but I'm not!!! To marry a man I just met so my parents could look down on others? For status!? Having my little sister in the same situation! Fuck you," she screamed. She just exploded. Like all the emotions were let out at once. Yet I took it. I sat there and listened.

She looked at me with her beautiful (e/c), I held her. "I don't want to marry, Miki," I whispered. "And I don't want to marry that man," she whimpered. "I want to marry you," I smiled. She stopped and pulled away. "You what," she asked slowly wiping her tears. "I want to be with you for the rest of my life. I want you to be my princess," he smiled as he brought her closer.

"Why," she asked before she could stop herself. "because when I first came to this kingdom and I saw a beautiful young woman, but she was being married off to my brother. As I got to know her I realize she not only had a sweet smile but had a sassy quick witted nature which I thought was super attractive. The way she acted to people who are beneath her was so kind, yet at the same time not taking any crap from anyone," I chuckled. "Hm," she smiled as if she didn't know what to say. "But most importantly, I found a girl who I would rather call my wife than my friend," I said hopefully. "Same here. I've never met anyone like you before," she smiled. "I love you," I smiled back. "I love you too," said (y/n) and I kissed her.

"Are you sure you want the bride of your brother?" She widowers into my shirt. "Are you sure you want the groom of your sister," I responded. "You know my parents won't let this happen. The minute they find me the minute they will force me to marry that man. Period. And there's nothing I can do about it," she said sadly. "Who says we have to get married here? If  you're willing to take some risks... I have a plan," he smiled. "I'm all ears," she smiled back.

There was a wedding that night. Miki married my brother and (y/n) and I eloped. We ran away, and thanks to Phil we got married in his kingdom.

Princess (y/n) (m/n) (l/n) married Prince Daniel James Howell. A perfect fairy tale.
