I looked up at my father, and smile

"Yes, I am, its just that, I have to write an essay about the meaning of art."

"Homework. Professor Tyler is teaching you well?"

"Yes! He is! My math & science scores are above the 90's. Plus we are learning about art!"

"Art? Well a queen must know the true meaning of beauty."

"Queen?"

"Why yes."

"Oh."

"Amy, we are holding a ball for you in a couple of weeks. A masquerade ball to be exact."

"Father, a ball? Under my name?"

"Correct."

"Father! I don't want a ball! I'm not ready to be queen yet!"

"That's why you're studying to be one & getting ready to get married."

He sighed and wipe his lips with a napkin

"Excuse me princess, but I have work to do."

My father stand up and walked away

I wipe my lips and starts heading back to my room

I don't want to marry someone else, that gentleman that I met in the kingdom
