From the darkness of a hidden cave, a small tom emerges, his pelt hanging loosely from his body.

"Stoneteller."

The tom turns around in response to his name,"Yes Sun?"

A muscular tom approaches him, his eyes heavy with grief,"Bird That Soars Through The Sky is dead."

Stoneteller bows his head in silent reverence, "She was an exemplary hunter. I am deeply troubled by the state of our tribe. Many have died and many more have deserted us."

The wizened old cat lifts up his small head and looks to the larger grey tom.

"We must call a meeting in the Cave of Pointed Stones, Sun That Breaks The Morning Gloom."

"Yes, Stoneteller," Sun replies,"I will gather everyone."

He runs into the main cave, closely followed by Stoneteller. The older tom walks to a small slot in the wall and enters it.

His eyes squint when they are reintroduced to the light reflected off of the puddles. Slowly, he walks towards the puddle-riddled floor.

"Dearest Tribe of Endless Hunting, why do you allow your great tribe to fall to ruin? Have we displeased you? Please tell me what is to happen."

The grungy cat peers into the small pool of water. His eyes widen as the reflection of the cave begins to change.

Slowly but surely, the longs stones that hang off of the roof and eventually, the water upon them freezes. Stoneteller watches as a tom barely younger than him with a pelt radiant like the Sun stare into the same pool, reflecting the Tribe cat's face.

The pool goes dark and Stoneteller turns to watch his Tribemates file into the cave.

Once all of them enter the small cavern, Stoneteller begins,"My dear Tribemates, the time has come for each of us to leave this Tribe."

The response to this was one of shock. Stoneteller continued,"This Tribe is dying and there are but five of us left. I have read the stones and their reflections and the Tribe of Endless Hunting has granted me a prophecy. Only the Sun shall bask down on the
Tribe, thawing the endless torrent of ice. The ice is coming and each of us must face it alone in hopes of one day being reunited by the cat whose pelt is like that of the Sun."
