A Cold Death Ep3.

Leporada's  POV

So c-c-cold! Why did we go out here? Well, Fang said that there was much more meat in this place! And Spear decided to f-f-follow her. L-leaving me with n-no other c-c-choice but to follow them.

I thought to myself as a sat on Fang's back as we walked through the snowy land. Spear walked on the snow, keeping a lookout. It's so cold here!! But, a-at least we don't have to worry about many predators.

We walked along a cliffside, hoping to spot food. We heard footsteps thudding. We looked back and saw a mammoth walk from inside the gorge. Spear signaled us to back up a bit. And Fang did. Spear needed a running start. Fang backed up 15 feet away from the edge. Spear waited until the mammoth passed us, he then jumped off, roaring. He stabbed the mammoth in/on its back.

It roared in pain and slipped down the slope. Spear stabbed it multiple times Fang settled me next to a big rock and ran into the clearing. Fang then bit the poor thing on the neck.

Third Person's POV

Spear flew off and landed in the snow. He popped right back up. Fang fell because she tugged off a piece of fur. Spear ran behind the mammoth and stabbed it in its leg. It roared in pain.

Leporada couldn't stand it much longer. She pulled out her dagger and ran into the clearing. She put the dagger in her mouth, grabbed onto the tusk, and swung herself up onto the mammoth's head. The mammoth roared and tried to get her off. Leporada pulled out one of the eyes and stabbed it in the head, multiply times.

It fell to the ground and died instantly. Leporada nuzzled as close as she can into the fur to stay warm. Fang nuzzled her to calm her down a bit. Spear ripped off a piece of fur, Fang licking the new scar on his back.

Spear resumed tearing the fur and finally got off a piece and wrapped it around himself. Fang nudged him so she could eat. Spear sighed and glared at her slightly as Fang ate. Leoparda ran to Spear and nuzzled the fur. Fang looked at Leporada and tore off and piece for her.

Leporada quickly took it and wrapped it around herself. Leporada grabbed a few pieces of meat and gave some to Spear. Spear smiled and started to eat it. Leporada quickly ate her share. Once she was finished, and reached in her bag and pulled out her wooden needle and a big ball of yarn.

10 minutes later.

Spear and Fang made a little carrier for the meat. They made it out of the bones from the mammoth. Leporada was on the other side of the mammoth, making her outfit and changing into it. Once she was done getting it on, she walked over to Fang and Spear. She had a long-sleeved fur dressed on. She attached a hood on the back. She braided op her hair and pulled on her hoodie.

She made boots for her feet, gloves, and a mask that covered up her mouth and nose. She also made a few more daggers using the bones. Spear smiled as she walked over to them. Spear picked up the giant handle, AKA the mammoth's tusk, and tried to give it to Fang. But she quickly turned away. Spear sighed. in defeat. Leporada walked over to the carrier ad pulled out some vine that she saved before they went out there.

She brought out two large pieces of vine and tied an end to the carrier, She then took the other ends and tied them around each of her arms. She triple-knotted them so they wouldn't fall off. She pulled down her mask and smiled at Spear.

Leporada: I don't worry, Spear. I'll help you with this.

Spear smiled and nodded and started to pull the carrier. Leporada started to do the same. Fang was ahead of them. After a while, a snowstorm hit. Spear had his hood and Leporada had her mask back up, her hoodie on, and her gloves on tight.

She gripped her vine straps tightly as she pulled. She pressed her body close to Spear's body the best she could to keep warm. Spear blushed a little and tried to ket his body warm and kept pulling the carrier. Then both heard Fang roaring. They pulled harder and a bit faster. Leporada and Spear eventually got to Fang, but they were extremely tired.

Leporada used her dagger and cut off the vine knots, so she could move her arms freely. She hugged her body, panting and shivering. Spear dropped and handle, and Fang curled around the two. Spear sat down with his knees to his chest. He looked at Leporada and held his arms out for Leporada. She looked at him confused but gave him her hand.

Spear placed her on his lap and wrapped his arms around her. Leporada's face heated up, but she curled against his chest. They stayed like that for a bit. Spear lifted his head and saw something in the distance. He looked closer and saw that it was a cave. He gasped, and lightly shook Leporada awake. Leporada tiredly opened her eyes and looked in the direction Spear was pointing.

Her eyes shot opened and she shot up and grabbed her ropes. Spear also got up and pulled on the tusk, and started pulling the carrier, Fang looking at them, confused. They finally got to the cave and Leporada started a fire.

At Night, Fang was eating one of the pieces of meat that was on the carrier. She tossed a big piece towards Spear and Leporada. Leporada walked over to it and tugged off a piece and ate it. Fang laid her head down and fell asleep. Leporada kept eating and stopped to give some to Spear. But she looked at him, he had his eyes closed and his hand was still on the drawing.

She looked at him confused and left him the meat. She walked over to Fang and snuggled into her stomach. Fang wrapped her tail around Leporada and smiled. Spear opened his eyes and saw Leporada wasn't there. He looked around and saw the meat with a couple of bite marks.

He grabbed the meat and ate the rest of it. He then laid down and eventually fell asleep. It was going well, until...BANG!! A loud crash woke up the group. Leporada groaned in frustration, thinking that it was Fang. But it wasn't her. But that wasn't important. Spear grabbed his weapon and all of them jumped out of the cave.

It collapsed and was now rocks. They looked up and saw the mammoths glaring at them with hate. They shot up and Fang roared in defense.

Later...

It wasn't looking to good for the group. Fang was getting her bones broken, and Spear disappeared. Leporada tried her best to help Fang. Her dress was torn, showing her legs, her sleeves were torn of and sowas her hood. She was corned by 4 mammoths. She swung her dagger around, hissing and growling. One of the mammoth's used its trunk and knocked her to a big rock. She yelp and fell into the snow. They walked over to her and one of them was about to step on her, when Spear bursted from pile of rocks, holding the trunk of the old mammoth.

Spear's POV

I yelled as I burtsed out from the pile. I breathed heavily, tired and my body full of pain. I then saw the whole herd rushing towards me. I held up the tusk high, yelling. They all stopped and I swung the tusk around, yelling in defense. They kept their eyes on me. I finally stopped, out of breath.

One on them bellowed softly. I looked down at the tusk, with sadness and held it out towards them. The alpha wrapped its trunk around it and picked it up. He nodded and left. Fang was laying on the ground, still looking confused. I sighed then I saw Leporada. I gasped and ran over to her as fast as could.

I picked her up and placed her on her lap. I then noticed her skirt and I torn off the fur that was on my shoulder and placed it on her legs. She opened her eyes and moved her hand to my face. I rested my cheek on her hand and I held her close.

Fang's POV

I smiled at Spear and Leporada. He does love her dearly, and he wants to protect her. But this world is full of monsters and evil. If he's gonna protect her, then I'll protect both of them.
