It was the end of the school day and Una was on her way to the Council room with a notebook cradled and pressing against her chest as she walked down the hallway. She had her earbuds in as she walked in the zone with brown blur zipped past her.

Una's eyes widened as she took out her earbuds, turning her head as green eyes met her amber ones. "Oh! Hello, Kovu!" She squeaked out happily.

Kovu was panting, hitched over with his palms on his knees trying to catch his breath. He smiled weakly, waving a hand up at her.

"H-Hey, uh, Una..." He huffed a bit. "How's it going?"

Una laughed at the boy. "What's got you in a rush?" She asked Kovu, bending down a bit at the panting boy turning her head to the side a bit as she spoke.

"Well, I was looking for you actually." He said as he stood up straight as Una followed.

"Me? Why?" Una asked not really following why Kovu came to find her.

"Well, I was going to ask if you are friends with Kiara?" He asked sheepishly.

Una nodded her. "Somewhat yeah, but what does that have to do with-." Kovu cuts her off.

"Well, I was wondering if you put a good word in with her." Kovu wondered.

"A good word? Well, I don't know about that but I did give some advice and told her that you liked her." Una said scratching the back of her neck.

"Really?! Well, I came to thank you because she asked me out!" Kovu exclaimed.

"Really?!" Una gasped. "Aww~! I'm so happy for you Kovu!" She exclaimed jumping to hug him wrapping her arms around his neck.

Kovu froze and tensed up his body as Una hugged him. He blushed a deep red eel red as his brown cheeks could get. He taken aback by the girl boldness, I mean they've only known each other for a few weeks.

He and Una have talked a couple of times since Vitani has taken an interest in her. He's seen her at lunch, talking to Kiara or Vitani in the halls. Kovu has admitted she's was cute.

'What did I mean it as? A friend? Or do I—No! I like Kiara or do I? Ugh!' His conflicted thoughts argued back and forth.

"Kovu?" Una pulled him out of his thoughts by calling his name. "Are you okay? What's wrong?" She asked let the boy go from her hug.

"U-Uh, yeah! Nothing's wrong. I just got to go or I'm going to be late for football practice. See you, bye Una." Kovu said waving a hand to her then bolting off down the hall.

"O-kay, bye." Una said tilting her head to the side at Kovu's strange behavior but paid no mind since she was late for her own after school activity.

It was 5:00pm and Una was in her room struggling to do her math homework. She irritatedly tapped her pencil on her desk, grumbling underneath her breath. Una put her pencil down and sighing laying her head on her desk.

Her phone buzzed and she looked over at it seeing it was a text from Kiara.

Kiara
Hey, Una? Do you know what's up with Kovu?

Una
Uh? What do you mean? What's up, what happened?

Kiara
Well, I asked him out today. And he seems so happy that did and said yes but he just texted me say 'Can we take a rain check on our date?' Weird right.

Una
Yeah, that is strange.
I don't know why he would say that.
But, I talked to him too, he seems so happy that you asked him out.

Kiara
Yeah, I don't know. I hope this has nothing to do with me.

Una
I doubt it has something to do with you.
Don't worry about it.

Kiara
Okay, yeah! Thanks Una!
See you at school tomorrow!

Una smiled, setting her phone down and going back to homework until another text notification popped up.
