>Enaeya by jirotero

"The writing style is very gentle and descriptive, it evokes a different feeling in my heart, making it flutter ever so subtly."

Q: How long have you been on Wattpad and what makes you stay?

A: I just returned this November but I've been using Wattpad since 2013. I'm staying because the stories here are something that resonates with me, and I am also able to bring my imagination to life just by writing.

Q: Tell us how you came up with this story, what was your inspiration?

A: Honestly, I was just daydreaming and creating scenarios in my head when this story came up particularly. And I was so into it that I decided to write it into a story.

Q: Describe the main characters of this story and how you connect with them.

A: Enaeya, he is someone pure and untouched by the horrors of the world. I wrote him with the thought of the past 'Me' in mind; innocent, pure, oblivious, naive. That is how everyone started until they witnessed the cruelty of the world.

Damian is someone that's playful, witty, and someone who makes you feel safe, but my inspiration for this character is someone I know with the same personality. I wrote him to combat Enaeya's naivete, to ensure that Enaeya finds comfort in someone - someone who's experienced in life.

Q: What makes you keep going with this story?

A: My fake scenarios in my head.

Q: Looking back at the story you wrote so far, is there anything you would have done differently?

A: So far, my only problem is the prologue and I think I should've wrote it differently because somehow I always forget about it.

Q: What is your favorite part of being a writer?

A: To write your imaginations to life. It's incredible how we can create something from pure imagination.

Q: Do you want to share a message with ?

A: Honestly, I always tell people to make a choice they won't regret. So if there's a moment of opportunity that you really want to do something, then go do it. Regret always comes last, so it's better if you seize the moment.

Q: Would you like to tag any of your friends or supporters and leave them a message?

A: I just want to say thank you to my supporters and to the authors who made me stay in wattpad with their incredible stories.

> Espresso Shot Through The Heart by MilaSteelesHearts

"The cover is adorable and enough to attract me. The writing style is easy-going, fitting to the genre and the characters are interesting."

Q: How long have you been on Wattpad and what makes you stay?

A: I have been on Wattpad since August of 2023 so just one year and 3 months. And I'm always glad that I have been on here for even that short amount of time. I've formed a few great friendships and met some amazing people, plus joined a few awesome, friendly communities! That, along with my stories gaining love and support from other readers and writers and reaching my targeted audience are what makes me stay and I'm so looking forward to continuing on being a part of the Wattpad community.

Q: Tell us how you came up with this story, what was your inspiration?

A: I came up with this story when I was listening to 'Espresso' by Sabrina Carpenter. The more I heard the song, the more I was inspired to write a story about a woman who is addictive like espresso. Confident, strong, and a bad girl who lives her life while being stuck in the heads of others. But she doesn't care what anyone else thinks, and you know, that feeling when you don't seem validation from other people can be so freeing. Like Sabrina said, my main character can't relate to desperation (at least not anymore) and all her give a f**ks are on vacation.

Q: Describe the main characters of this story and how you connect with them.

A: Natalie is a gorgeous, bisexual woman whose aura oozes of confidence and a vibe of which you can't get enough of. She's a little bit like a mean girl, even though she is squishy and a big softy deep down in her heart. She's an example of how much heartbreak and broken relationships can affect a person, that it's hard to open up or trust anyone again because the pain is too much for them, and they're afraid to go through it again. Natalie has been through some trauma, but really, all she needs is a little beam of sunshine in her life. Enter, Mira. She's Korean and demirose, meaning both demisexual and demiromantic. She's always optimistic and quite innocent, as she tends to miss a lot of hidden meanings behind Natalie's jokes. Unfortunately, Mira has a controlling mother, which is where I can relate to a lot. Wanting that freedom from a parent who constantly enforces on you their ideas and opinions, and yet, you still try to convince yourself that they love you and are just doing what they think is best, which in some cases is actually true.

Both Natalie and Mira have bits of myself in them. I'm bisexual and can be a little mean and quite petty if you give me a reason to be (heh, I'm not serious... or am I? You'll have to find out:')) . I'm also demisexual, so it's nice to have representations for both in separate characters and how it feels to be attracted to both men and women, and also not be interested in anything sexual unless you've formed a deep connection with that person.

Q: What makes you keep going with this story?

A: I'd say, what keeps me going with this story is the amount of support I've received, and writing something that is more of a romantic comedy and summer vibes is fun.Plus, listening to Sabrina Carpenter songs does the trick too xD. But mainly, I love writing about these two characters, and I just want to see them have a happy ending that they deserve (oh right, I'm in charge of their fates, aren't I?)

Q: Looking back at the story you wrote so far, is there anything you would have done differently?

A: Maybe. I'm honestly not sure, but perhaps I would have given the side characters a little more time on the pages.

Q: What is your favorite part of being a writer?

A: I'd say my favorite part of being a writer is to be able to share my ideas with other people. Writing also helps me cope with my own problems, whether by immersing myself in a fictional world or letting my characters deal with their problems in a way that I would if I had that courage or chance to do so in real life. Being a writer is sort of cathartic for me, if that makes sense. It brings me an escape, a distraction, a place where I can bring a smile to a reader's face if any of my lines make them laugh a little or cause them to think about it or relate to the characters, all of those are also my favorite parts of being a writer.

Q: Do you want to share a message with ?

A: I'm so grateful to have found Wattpad. It has introduced me to a community that allows me to share my work with other people, not to mention it opened doors to connect with some great people that I can't imagine not knowing today.

Q: Would you like to tag any of your friends or supporters and leave them a message?

A: Absolutely! I would like to thank ganbaruby for her huge support and help in my writing journey. Every piece of advice you've given to me, Kae, has been invaluable, and our friendship, even more so. Chatting with you brings a smile to my face every time, and I love that I'm able to be myself around you and I'm comfortable with talking to you about stuff. Every comment you leave on my stories means so much. As you have said, you're my OG fan, and I love you, your awesomeness, and your awesome stories.

And of course, -DeeIsDead-. They've become a good friend to me as well, and their stories are just the best *cries for Clove*. They've been so supportive and helpful to me as well, and I'm lucky to have crossed paths with them. Love you, Dee.

> Heart, Body & Soul (MxM) by woundedsouul

"I like the blend of the writing style with Indian culture. Usually I don't get hooked with Indian Characters in lgbtq fiction but this one was an interesting read."

Q: How long have you been on Wattpad and what makes you stay?

A: While my current profile on Wattpad is rather new, I have been in Wattpad for a long time. I think I started even before Storm and Silence was trending. I stay because I occasionally find content that I want to read. There are some good stuff on Wattpad.

Q: Tell us how you came up with this story, what was your inspiration?

A: Reading similar MM romances inspired some of my own characters. Heart, Body and Soul is less about the story but more about the characters I guess.

Q: Describe the main characters of this story and how you connect with them.

A: I wanted to explore how orphans would have a life after they are not longer children and of legal age. That's how Riyaan emerged as a character.

Ivan is a character who is doing well in life but he has also lost faith in love, or that he will ever meet someone like he was looking for. With time, he has stopped focusing on it at all, telling himself that it was his teenage or young age fantasy where he believed he needs to find "the one" ...and when he finally finds the one, he's not ready and he doesn't know... because he isn't looking anymore.
I guess some part of me sometimes connect with Ivan's way a lot but I really want to be just Riyaan when it comes to the romantic ideology.

Q: What makes you keep going with this story?

A: It's all very new to me but the fact that people spend some time reading what I wrote is... nice(?) because they think it's worth spending some time.
