No one's p.o.v

Y/n was in her father's studies cleaning and polishing her favorite pistol along with her four sisters. Her mother came running with a grin on her face and Y/n knew exactly what she was so happy about making her roll her eyes.

"My love! I have exciting news!" Shouted her mother.

"What is it now woman?" He asked while fixing his musket. Mrs. Everard tried to tell her husband to put the musket down and to listen to her but he didn't bulge an inch.

"Speak while I attend my musket."

"Fine. Remember the group of princes from different countries?" She began.

"You mean the Princes who have cowardly came to our country's castle to be protected?" Mr. Everard smirked slightly as his daughters snickered slightly. His wife was clearly unamused by this and waves it off before continuing.

"As I was saying. They are going to host a ball tomorrow night and every one is invited so that's why we're going!" She cheered happily.

"And if I so do as to refuse this ball. What will you do?" He smirked.

"My love, please, maybe one of the princes will surely be attracted to one of our daughters?" She pushed on trying to win. Everytime there was a ball, She would try to convince her husband and throw her daughters at handsome and rich men. She even threw Y/n at a few men or a few men would throw them selves at Y/n but due to her stubbornness, she would always get away with a sly smirk on her face.

"And what can they give our daughters? Can they train them in the ways of swordsmanship? Are they highly experienced in musketry?" Father had a good point. The Princes can't give them any of that because they're princes but this wasn't stopping his wife.

"How can you be so tiresome! You know how I'm thinking of one of them marrying one of our daughters!!" She shouted frustrated.

"Marrying? At a time like this? I'm sure these Princes have no designs."

"Designs? That's nonsense. I'm sure one of them may fall in love with one of our girls, so that's why we must attend this ball." She said while crossing her arms.

"I have no intention of busying the road than it is. We have lost some of our carriages and horses due to the unfortunate scourge." He said placing his musket down before looking at his wife.

"But consider your daughters!"

"I am considering them you silly woman! I would much likely prefer them to be engaged in the deadly arts than to be piled with dreams of marriage and fortune!" Mr. Everard told his wife.

"Ugh! How can you abuse your daughters in such way? You have no compassion for my poor nerves!"

"You're mistaken my dear. I do have respect for your nerves. They are my old friends." He teased slightly as Y/n and her sisters giggled. Mrs. Everard rolled her eyes slightly.

"Consider just this once..." Mrs. Everard pleaded making Mr. Everard sigh.

"Fine. But do not mistaken my indulgence for a relaxation in discipline. The girls will continue their training, Princes or no Princes." He said as his wife grin happily.

"Of course! Of course! They will be deadly as they are fetching!" She cried.

"I don't really see why all the fuss is about. And besides I will never place my dagger down for marriage.." Y/n said with her head held high while her sisters giggled.

"Of course you will once you are done with your vows and then off to a room~" Bella teased making Y/n stare at her with glaring eyes. Bella squealed and ran off followed by her other sisters. Soon Y/n took off after them and they all were having a huge chase around the house.
