"Weekly meeting with team leaders in 5 minutes" Mr. Wu says

"Okay. Let's go" I say and head to meeting room

"I have something to inform you Director nim" Mr. Wu says when we arrive in the elevator

"What's it?"

"About that... black card you gave to Mr. Lim Inseo"

"What's about it?"

"There was a purchase of 2 round tickets Japan for a week."

"Two?"

"Yes."

"He.... he must be going with his friend...."

"Director nim..."

"I gave the card so he could spend freely. You don't need to check the transactions"

The meeting starts and they begin to spout nonsenses and stupid and not logical arguments between Department leaders ...

I was drunk on the dose last night and I'm not in my best mood... moreover ..
My mind is already occupied with what Mr.Wu mentioned in the elevator

2 round tickets... huh.
He's not a type to have that much close friends to go on a trip with.
Plus..... who is he living with now?
Whose house is that?

I hate my hunch but.... I still can't dare to ask him too.
I'm afraid he might hate me more... that he already hates me enough because of chairwoman.

"Director nim? What do you think about it?" One of the team leaders says

"Sorry, I got lost for awhile. What's it?"

"The new kids team. The project. Shouldn't we be asking them to evaluate their weekly or monthly progress to us?" He asks

"Yes Director nim. What if they are slacking ? They are just kids..." another one asks

"That's right. Director nim was too generous to give them everything they need when they are not even professionals" the third one adds

"Who said?" I question them

"Nae?" They all say

"Who said they are not professional? Who said they are slacking off? Don't you all remember their project proposal presentation?

I have never seen youngsters as creative and smart as them. I don't have any regret to invest my money in their professionalism.

Progress? Let's do it. Weekly? Monthly? I will just request them. So you all make sure to attend those  presentations without slacking.

And can you all write such application for our one big shopping mall and theatre? If you can't, stop judging and be thankful to those who can do it. Despite age.

Let's end meeting here and send me your meetings minutes by lunchtime" I say and walk out of the meeting room

"Should I invite Mr. Park Chanyeol's team for you?" Mr. Wu asks

"Ye..... wait... no. I will go to them right now" I say and head down to their floor to meet them.

This morning, I sent Park chanyeol ssi to his house before heading to office.
I think he is already in his office by now, right?
It's already 10:30

I knock before going in and

"Director nim?!" A bit tan kid quickly stands up and greet me

"Annyeonghaseyeo Director nim" a glasses kid says

"Imm.. Annyeong ...." I look around and.. he is not here "How's work?"

"Nae. About that, you don't need to worry Director nim. Since we won't be here next week, we are trying to get ahead of your weekly goal and we are processing well" a glasses kid says

"I'm not worried. I trust you guys. I am just here to tell you that other department leaders want to know about your progress so will it be okay for you all to do like.. a progress presentation?"

"Nae. We can"

"Good. So, after a week?  So, In next 2 weeks time"

"Nae. We are okay"

"Great." Should I ask them? "And ... where is your Team Leader? Park chanyeol ssi"

"Ah.... He said he's not feeling well today so he won't come anymore. So he will only be coming again after a week" a tan kid says

Sick? Is that because of alcohol?

"Oh... okay. So have a nice week" I say and leave their office
Sick? Is he very sick?

<Flashback to this morning>

"I just want to confirm that.... You don't ....have feelings for me.. don't you?" I ask

I just wanted to confirm that he's not.
That's it.
I don't want him to.
He's too young so I'm worried that... the time we slept together is going to play a big part in his mind.

"No" he says "I'm not"

"That's a relief"

"Why relief? Am I a burdensome to you? A immature kid like me having feelings for you? I meant.. if" He says and stands up "Thanks for letting me stay over. I will leave now"

"Wait... I will drop you off at your place"

"No.. I'm fine..."

"I am leaving anyway. So, let me drop you at your home first"

After that, the ride to his house was quiet.
I am starting to wonder if he was always been quiet because I thought he was chatty type.

And I dropped him in front of his apartment and I just headed to office

I am not okay.
I'm very not okay at alllllllll!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm hurt...
Or can I even have right to say like that?

I was very okay when I woke up.. but while waiting for him showering
I looked around his bedroom a bit
And I saw.... photo frames of him and ... another guy...
Unlike his personality type... the way he has those photo frames... just hit me hard that he's warm person only towards the person he really loves.

And that.... The fact that he also has someone else... is like a alarm for me to keep distance from him.
That I shouldn't meddle with someone's lovelife.

Also he asked me if I have feelings for him.
I can clearly see he drew a clear line.

That's why I didn't have any strength to go to work today.
It is like being defeated even before I start showing my feelings to him.

Like I don't stand even a chance.

And yes.... I realised my own feelings last night and this morning clearly.

I am intrigued by him.
I want to know more about him.
He's so mysterious and... secretive person.
That's makes me curious about him more.

Of course I am interested in him as a person I met at a bar... not as Director of SOLE

*sigh*

Next week, I won't be able to see him so, I will get over him during then.

"Ah.... I forgot to power off my phone. Who's calling really..." I mumble and

C - hello?

Caller - Is this Park Chanyeol ssi's phone?

C - Nae I'm speaking. Who's this?

Caller - I am Byun Baekhyun

C - Nae?!!!

B - Can you talk right now? Are you busy?

C - No! I mean. No, Director nim

B - I visited your office today. And your friends said you are not feeling well. So, I feel quite taken back because last night... you had to suffer because of me

C - It is not Director nim... it was fun last night. And Director nim...

B - Yes?

C - were you worried about me? Is that why you are calling me? For first time?

B - ...... of course. It was because of me anyway. If you are not feeling well, let's go to hospital

C - No no... not like that Director nim.

B - Okay. Then take a good rest. And see you in 2 weeks.
