Day 4: Polyamorous

Definition: Polyamory is the practice of, or desire for, intimate relationships with more than one partner, with the consent of all partners involved. It is the opposite of monogamy, which means having a single partner. (Lol, it kinda means having threesomes, foursomes or moresomes anytime) *again, I mean no offence*  It is different to polygamy, which is when a man has multiple wives, or a woman has multiple husbands.

Polyamory is different from having an open relationship. An open relationship is when one, or both parties, have relationships outside of their original relationship and openly acknowledge this fact with their partner. 

Some polyamorous people are part of 'pods'. This is where several people live together and have an openly sexual relationship with one another. 

Polyamory doesn't have to be purely sexual. A polyamorous couple may bring in temporary third parties, or they might be in a full time, loving, three-way relationship, where all parties love all other parties.
