Narrator: previously on pride land adventures, during vitani's past time, she was apparently abused very harshly, and very mistreated. with only her best friend kopa by her side, they team up to stop scar and zira using arcade characters, only for kopa to get killed, and for vitani to reach her breaking point and burn her town down, with scar and zira still inside it. five years later, vitani's good side continues to try and free herself. will she stop the darkness that has consumed her? let's find out.

Kion: dudes, can you believe the battle of the bands is coming up? i'm so pumped.

Kion plays a sick guitar riff

Jasiri: that long huh?

Dogo: i guess so. it must be pretty big for it to have been so anticipated.

Kion: it sure is dogo. we have it like, once a year, and every time it's huge.

Mheetu: and we're finally old enough to compete, aren't we kion?

Kion: yeah, and it was about time.

Nala: you two didn't even go to this school at the last battle of the bands.

Kion: that doesn't make it any different nala. cause this year, we're gonna take home the gold. cmon dudes, let's take another verse.

Dogo: sounds good to me.

Jasiri: agreed.

Kion: true that kovu. and even if we don't win, just remember dudes. it's not about weather you win or lose, it's how you play the game. or in this case rock out.

Dogo: hey guys, i just thought of the most unanswerable question ever.

Mheetu: let's hear it dogo, my young jackal friend.

Dogo: so, yeah. imagine if we have the battle of the bands, but no ones in a band. what would they call it?

Simba: he wasn't kidding.

Kovu: it'd simply be called battle.

Dogo: and the intelligence god kicks in again! kovu, just tell me dude. how do you do it?

Kovu: all of it is loopholes dogo. simple science logic.

Jasiri: dang kovu. it's no wonder you won the smartest in the world contest.

Nala: yeah, it really is impressive on how smart you are.

Kion: well guys, i think that's enough practice for one day. let's head home now.

Kovu: alright then.

Mheetu: yeah, lets.

Kion and the others head out of the music lounge

Dogo: hey kion? i just realized something.

Kion: what?

Dogo: if there's food there, we'll most likely eat most of it.

Kion: that dogo, i was just reminded of.

Scene cuts to kion and jasiri looking at the stars on kion and dogo's balcony

Kion: ya know siri? i have a good feeling about this years battle of the bands.

Jasiri: why's that kion?

Kion: well, we're pretty much destined for using our music, so of course we'd have the upper hand.

Jasiri: yeah. i guess. still though, we can't just like, grab the trophy. there could be some strong competition.

Kion: well yeah, but we'll power through it. after all, your voice is beautiful enough for us to at least make it to the semi-finals.

Jasiri blushes

Jasiri: thanks kion. i never thought you thought that.

Kion: how could anyone not?

Jasiri: you're so nice kion. how do you handle all of this stuff you go through, and still think positive?

Kion: i guess i just, forget all of the bad stuff, and figure i can power through the bad times.

Jasiri: that just improves your personality.

Kion: it does?

Jasiri: heck yeah dude. i mean, you just act positive, but you don't let yourself get manipulated. and in addition to that, your probably the most pure hearted person i know.

Kion: guess i'm not the only nice one. but that's pretty obvious.

Jasiri: ha ha. yeah.

Kion and jasiri stare back at the stars

Jasiri: where's the big dipper again?

Kion: see the little dipper? you just follow it's handle, and, bloop. right there.

Jasiri: so it is.

Kion and jasiri put their hands closer to each other

Kion: stars really are fascinating.

Jasiri: they sure are. if they weren't so hot, i would go up there and touch one.

Kion and jasiri move their chairs closer to each other only for kion to fall on top of jasiri

Kion: wow, that was-

Kion notices he's on top of jasiri

Kion: unexpected.

Kion and jasiri chuckle nervously and kion gets off of jasiri

Kion: sorry.

Kion helps jasiri up

Jasiri: it's fine. no ones perfect.

Kion: not even gods. well, technically we're elemental gods, but you get the point.

Jasiri chuckles with her mouth closed

Jasiri: sure do. let's go inside. we should probably rest up before practice tomorrow.

Kion: good call siri.

Kion and jasiri walk inside

Kion: well, night siri.

Jasiri: night kion.

Jasiri goes to her's and kiara's room and kion gets into his bed

Kion: the battle of the bands'll be huge.

Kion goes to sleep

Scene cuts to vitani outside of zuri's house while zuri and tiffu are playing video games

Vitani: it's time. it's about time the dazzalings are restored to their original fate, and i shan't fail dark kion.

Inside zuri's house tiffu and zuri are playing sonic mania

Zuri: so how do you think the battle of the bands is gonna play out?

Tiffu: i don't know zuri. i mean, anything can happen.

Zuri: well there's loads of bands tiffu. who would you want to win besides us?

Tiffu starts flash backing about her night with dogo

Tiffu: i can't believe i'm saying this but, i think it's dogo.

Zuri pops tiffu's flash back could

Tiffu: how did you do that?

Zuri: in a cartoon like this, how can i not?

Vitani climbs out of the tv

Vitani: grettings zuri, you as well tiffu.

Tiffu: vitani!

Zuri: you met her before?

Vitani: oh of course she did. her little night with dogo, didn't exactly go out as planned.

Zuri: dogo? when did you meet him?

Tiffu: didn't you meet him at the same time?

Zuri: oh yeah. why don't i remember that?

Vitani: enough discussing about who remembers dogo and who doesn't. you two have dazzaling voices inside of you, and i need them to restore the dazzalings.

Zuri and tiffu look at each other and then back at vitani

Zuri and tiffu: yeah. you can forget it sister.

Vitani sighs

Vitani: very well then.

Vitani activates her amulet and starts vocalizing sending zuri and tiffu in a hypnotic trance and giving them scars

Vitani: now will you obey?

Zuri and tiffu become evil

Zuri: yes vitani. what do you ask of us?

Tiffu: we shall do anything you command.

Vitani: glad to hear that.

Vitani teleport's to kiara and jasiri's room

Vitani: convince kiara to come with us. if she doesn't agree, bring her to me.

Zuri: yes vitani.

Vitani walks out of the room

Zuri: so. how do we do this?

Tiffu: i say we tie her up, and throw her into the living room.

Zuri: let's do it.

Zuri and tiffu knock out kiara and tie her up

Zuri: ready tiffu?

Tiffu: ready zuri.

Tiffu and zuri walk over to vitani

Zuri and tiffu: we have kiara as you wish master vitani. what may you ask of us now?

Vitani: let's take her outside.

Vitani zuri and tiffu walk outside with kiara

Vitani: drop her.

Zuri and tiffu nod and put kiara on the ground

Vitani: wakey wakey kiara.

Vitani stabs kiara in the arm waking her up

Kiara: ow! what the heck!?

Kiara becomes shocked at the site of vitani

Kiara: you again!

Vitani: yes kiara, me again. now if you'll be so kind as to cooperate, i won't hurt you anymore. you will join us, right?

Kiara looks at zuri and tiffu and then back at vitani

Kiara: what did you do to them!?

Vitani: simply just a little hypnotism. why? do you wish to face it too?

Kiara: why would i? that looks weird, and creepy, and i have a life.

Vitani: and now you'll be working for me.

Vitani activates her amulet and starts vocalizing sending kiara in a hypnotic trance and giving her a scar

Vitani: now do you obey?

Kiara: yes master vitani. your every wish is my command.

Vitani: good. now if we fail this, you won't be eating for a year.

Kiara: yes master.

Vitani: good. now listen up minions. we shall now take over the pride lands, one way or another. and these scar's will hide your true identity, so you don't get spotted.

Kiara zuri and tiffu: yes master vitani.

Vitani: good. now act as you normally do. we will meet at the back of school tomorrow.

Vitani teleport's kiara zuri and tiffu to their perspective rooms

Vitani: watch out kion. very soon, you will be no more.

Scene cuts to kion and his friends eating lunch in the cafeteria

Kion: so yeah, apparently the first prize is five million dollars. not that we NEED more cash, but at this point, i think you all know what i mean.

Jasiri: pretty much, yeah kion. i mean, we have lots of cash already.

Simba: so how are we gonna go in with the opening band god act?

Kion: already have it planned out simba.

Kion lays out the song plans

Dogo: awesome as i wanna be huh? that sounds fun.

Kion: it's basically describing how awesome i am.

Nala: i don't really see why it's called that.

Mheetu: duh nala. he's cooler than you, and the song is all about rock.

Jasiri: let's just hope this doesn't get out of hand.

Kion: trust me siri. it'll stay sane.

Simba: let's sure hope. good thing every one here knows about our powers.

Mheetu: that'll make it even more fun.

Just then vitani kicks open the cafeteria door and the dazzalings start vocalizing and seducing the other students and tying kion and his friends to their seats with dazzaling magic

Vitani:(singing)we heard you wish to come together. we heard you wish to rock the school. we made something that is better. something that breaks all the rules. why pretend we're all alike? when some of us, shine brighter.

Dazzalings:(singing)shine brighter)

Vitani:(singing)here's a chance to find your blaze. are you a loser or a fighter?

Dazzalings:(singing)me and you, you and me. why don't we see who is better? we don't have to be, one in the same thing. just what's so wrong with a little competition? are you afraid of failing the audition?

Vitani:(singing)you're a star and you should know it.

Chorus:(singing)ah-ah.

Vitani:(singing)yeah you rise above the rest.

Dazzalings:(singing)above the rest.

Vitani:(singing)it doesn't matter who you harm. if you're just proving your the best!

School: battle!

Female lion cub: i can beat you!

The school falls under full seduction

Dazzalings and the school:(singing)battle! you wish to win it! let's have a battle, battle of the bands. let's have a battle! we'll go all in it! let's have a battle, battle, BATTLE, battle of the bands!

The whole school starts arguing and kion and his friends get untied

Kion: that was weird. why are kiara zuri and tiffu, working for vitani?

Simba: it is odd. what do you think it is kovu?

Kovu: meet me in my lab. i'll explain there.

Dogo: you have a lab? how did we not see it?

Kovu: it's a secret lab dogo. now after school, we'll meet there, and i'll fill you in on the details.

Jasiri: sounds good. i'd do anything to stop vitani.

Kovu: then let's take action.

Scene cuts to kion and the others taking an elevator to kovu's lair

Jasiri: i gotta say kovu. with all of the time you have researching the band gods, i didn't think you'd have enough spare time to make your own laboratory.

Kovu: i manage jasiri. now the stuff down here is pretty complex, so make sure you don't touch ANYTHING until you know what it does.

Dogo: but we're not scientists kovu.

Kion: no dogo, he means that we don't get this stuff yet, so he has to demonstrate what it does before we can use it.

Dogo: that's reasonable.

Simba: so tell me kovu. how many hours a day have you been working on this thing?

Kovu: about six hours a day. no biggie really, i've seen more hours spent.

The elevator stops and opens

Kovu: here we are.

Kion and the others follow kovu

Nala: wow. so this is your base? you actually had the spare time to build all of this?

Kovu: pretty much, yeah.

Mheetu: that's honestly pretty cool. i never met someone who had so much free time. honestly dude, i figured you were just gonna study the whole time you lived here.

Kovu: reasonable response mheetu.

Kion: so kovu, where's the computer in this thing? i'm pretty sure we should do our research on that.

Kovu: it's up ahead kion.

Kovu opens the door to his super computer

Kovu: behold. the computer, of unlimited knowledge.

Kion: that's pretty cool.

Kovu activates the computer and puts in the dazzalings

Kovu: just as i suspected. the dazzalings have been restored.

Jasiri: so vitani DID find out who they were.

Kion: well is there any way we can stop them?

Kovu: there is a way, but we'll need the last band god orb in order to unleash it.

Tukio: i could be of assistance.

Kion and kovu: huh?

Kion and the others look up and find tukio who jumps down from the super computer

Tukio: i know i said we'd battle the next time we met kion, but we have more important matters right now. if you like, i could help you find the last band god.

Kion: really tukio?

Tukio: sure, why not?

Kion smiles

Kion: thanks tukio.

Kion and tukio fist bump

Tukio: now let's get to work.

Kion nods

Narrator: with the dazzalings finally restored to their full potential, and the band gods are still incomplete, our heroes strive to find the final band god. will tukio be of wonderful assistance to the others? and will they succeed in stopping vitani? only time will tell. stay tuned in next time for the next pride land adventures.
