Narrator: long ago, seven legendary gods of power were sealed away in magical instruments awaiting the day their chosen heirs found them. these gods are known as, the band gods.

Chorus:(singing)band gods, gotta find those band gods, don't stop till you've found em all the seven magic gods, it's all you've gotta do to make the band of life, get those band gods, band gods, the greatest test of all is to find that seventh god, danger all around you, evil everywhere, evil will surround you, keep on searching but beware, kion, he's gonna show you, he and his friends will find a way, kion, he's gonna show you, he and his friends are gonna save the day, band gods, there's always evil searching for the band gods, you can always listen for when the guitar calls, you wont believe the magic in the seven gods, you can put your trust inside of the band gods.

Narrator: previously on pride land adventures, we got a glimpse of what jasiri's past was like, and what lead her into meeting our protagonist Kion. though she had some dark moments, she was very glad to be where she is today. now we cut back to our heroes, after one month of training. are they ready to protect kupatana? let's find out.

(Dragon ball z ost theme plays and the title screen says the day of kupatana part 1)

Scene cuts to kion and his friends preparing for kupatana and Kion is playing a guitar beat in the Same fashion as I thought I lost you from bolt

Kion: that sounds about right.

Ono: I'd say Kion. you're really lucky you're dad let you do this gig.

Kion: I know Ono, I try though. it's not every year you get to gig at kupatana

Jasiri: you seem really confident about this Kion, especially since you just found the perfect beat for it.

Kion: you couldn't be more right Siri, all those dudes in the crowd waiting for me to play my guitar up there. you know guys, I always did dream about bein a rock star when I got older, and hey. it's my life purpose.

Jasiri: yeah dude, and your band is life chosen.

Kovu: wait wait wait. so, those powers are part of some inter dimensional band from this universe alone?

Simba: you guessed it kovu. me Kion mheetu and jasiri are already in it.

Kovu: pfft, lucky, and cool.

Kion: you said it kovu, let's just hope we can find the other three in time.

Ono: I should hope so, if the dazzalings get them first it could leave to unfortunate events of unspeakable disasters.

Kion: kinda like your mom.

Ono rolls his eyes and uploads his picture of the dazzalings

Scene cuts to mheetu and nala walking over to them

Mheetu: this kupatana is gonna be so awesome! I'm gonna eat every single baobab flower. I'm talking red ones, blue ones, yellow ones, every single one of them.

Nala: you sound really excited about this mheetu.

Mheetu: oh nala, you don't know the half of it

Mheetu and nala arrive at where others are

Kion: yeah, simba was the first to discover his after me.

Mheetu: sure was intense.

Nala sighs of relief and lies down

Nala: glad kupatana's all about relaxing. just so calm.

Simba: you said it nala. glad we get to chill-ax for once.

Just then they hear a jackal pup yelping

Simba: what the heck was that?

Ono: I don't know simba. I'll check.

Ono uses his super sight and spots the mysterious jackal pup running from janja and his clan

Ono: darn it, it's in the out lands. that poor little jackal pups gonna get his but kicked. wish we could do something.

Kion: no worries about that Ono. kupatana is celebrated all around Africa. and the uniting of the two prides is serious. so in a way, we can.

Ono: good point Kion. I'll head with you.

Kion: nice. let's head out dudes.

Scene cuts to the mysterious jackal pup running from janja clan as he turns to a corner and loses them

Mysterious jackal pup: ha ha, losers.

Janja: don't think you've lost all of us kid.

Mysterious jackal pup: huh?

The mysterious jackal pup backs away from janja

Janja: so the little brat decided to enter our turf again huh?

The mysterious jackal pup tries to look adorable

Janja: oh no, that's not working this time

Janja charges at the mysterious jackal pup who gets worried only for Kion to pin janja down at that moment

Janja: huh? Kion? what the heck do you want?

Kion: I want you to leave that jackal pup alone, got it?

Janja: ugh. you're lucky I don't have time to fight today. laters.

Janja runs off laughing maniacally and the others jump down

Jasiri: guess the dude was in a hurry.

Mheetu: yeah, back to his mommy.

Simba: hah hah, nice one mheetu.

Mysterious jackal pup:(jumps)thanks you guys! (puts his paws on Kion)you were awesome! you just like jumped on that janja dude, and he left!

Kion: yeah, but why though? anyways we were glad we could help, umm-

Mysterious jackal pup: I'm dogo. (walks in a circle around all of them)and you guys must be the band gods. (jumps up)you're the coolest! I've heard of all of you're adventures, you dudes are so awesome!

Dogo calms down

Kion: well, we're glad we could help dogo.

Ono: yeah, we should probably head out though.

Dogo: are you dudes heading back to the pride lands?

Simba: yeah actually.

Dogo: cool, I know I'd be safe there.

Jasiri: don't you have to get back to your family dogo?

Dogo: I'm all by myself. but I know there are loads of cool dudes in the pride lands. it'd be so cool to meet all of them.

Mheetu: well, we don't usually, do this.

Dogo tries to look adorable

Kion: hmm, well...

Dogo looks even more adorable

Kion: well, I guess we can make an exception to this one. after all, jasiri's allowed in the pride lands too, what's to lose?

Dogo: yes!

Dogo starts yipping of joy and the others start laughing

Rei Rei is shown spying on them

Rei Rei: the signal. he did it. kupatana shall be ours. mizingo, inform vitani about this.

Mizingo: yes master rei rei.

Mizingo flies off to inform vitani

Rei rei: be careful young ones. your kupatana will be cancelled.

Scene cuts to Kion and the others bringing dogo into the pride lands

Kion: welcome to the pride lands dogo. it's a real treat.

Dogo: wow. it's even more beautiful than I imagined.

Kion: you must've thought huge then little dude.

Dogo: well, I've always taken sneak peaks in the pride lands, but I never saw the real deal. it's huge.

Simba: you said it dogo. endless walls of excitement, huge amounts of adventure, you'll love it here.

Jasiri: ya know dogo, you picked a great day to get chased by janja.

Dogo: I did?

Kion: oh yeah, in two days were celebrating kupatana.

Mheetu: it's pretty much the one day of the year when we let go of Evils dumb face.

Dogo: I've heard a lot about kupatana before, but I've never seen it.

Kion: then it's a good thing you're here for it dude.

Jasiri: you saying what I think you're saying Kion?

Kion: well, if you mean introducing do go to kupatana, then yes.

Ono: hold on Kion. you can't be serious about this. dogo's an out lander.

Dogo: pfft, yeah dude and you have a stick on your face.

Ono: touché.

Kion: well, dogo's just one little jackal, and he seems harmless enough. it couldn't hurt to try.

Dogo: really?

Kion: really little dude. everyone should be able to celebrate kupatana.

Dogo: oh my god,(starts jumping around)this is so awesome.

Simba: well in that case, we should probably introduce him to the other lions. especially dad.

Mheetu: great idea simba. let's do it dudes.

Scene cuts to nala kovu and kiara

Kovu: and that's how you can make a past machine out of a bop it.

Kiara: you know like, so much kovu. where'd you learn all this stuff?

Kovu: I had loads of freedoms in my cage.

Nala: maybe a little too much.

Kovu spots Kion and the others

Kovu: hey dudes, kion's back

Kiara: nice.

Kion and the others walk up to them

Kion: hey dudes. what'd we miss?

Kiara: Kion, kovu knows like so much about everything.

Kovu notices dogo hiding behind Kion

Kovu: hey Kion, who's your new friend?

Kion looks at dogo

Kion: cmon dogo, say hi to them.

Dogo walks forward

Dogo: um, h-hi.

Kovu: hey no worries little dude, I won't hurt you.

Dogo walks closer

Kovu: what's wrong?

Dogo: well, I never saw a black lion before. the only one I heard of was, captured by janja and his leaders.

Kovu: oh, I get it,well. well i can assure you dogo that any bad stuff you heard about me is totally whack. names kovu.

Kovu and dogo fist bump

Kovu: a jackal in the pride lands huh? what's the snitch kion?

Kion: well, we saved him from stupid janja, and well we decided to invite him to kupatana.

Simba: yeah, it's his first time.

Kiara: takin him to see dad?

Kion and simba: sure are.

Dogo: so he's your dad too huh? you must be kiara then.

Kiara: you guessed it.

Kion: cmon dogo. the sooner you meet dad, the better.

Dogo: Kay Kay.

Kion takes dogo into his house to see mufasa.

Kion: yo dad!

Mufasa walks up to them

Mufasa: yes Kion?

Kion: well, I hope you don't mind but, I invited someone for kupatana.

Dogo:hey.

Mufasa: hello there young one.

Dogo: i'm dogo. kion saved me from janja and he invited me for kupatana.

Mufasa: ah, I see. well, this will be a huge part of the circle of life, having a jackal for kupatana and all.

Dogo starts scratching himself

Mufasa: o-k then.

Kion: wait dude, doesn't that hurt?

Dogo: nope.

Kion: but, you're using your back leg.

Dogo: honestly dude, I tried to figure out too.

Dogo continues to scratch himself

Mufasa: well Kion, dogo can stay for kupatana, provided that he doesn't disrupt it too much.

Kion:you can count on it dad.

Mufasa: I'm glad to hear that son. now make yourself at home dogo. my son will find you a suitable place to live.

Dogo: cool.

Mufasa walks off

Kion: yo dogo.

Dogo: yeah Kion?

Kion: you wanna shoot my sonic toys off the stairs?

Dogo stops scratching himself

Scene cuts to Kion and dogo on top of kion's stairs

Kion: alright dogo, now super bridge jump sonic's gonna slide all the way down this ninety foot drop.

Dogo: holy crap.

Kion: yeah dude, and then he's gonna jump off this ramp, and land in the pool, you think he's gonna make it?

Dogo: nope. I think he's gonna go all the way to China.

Kion: heck yeah.

Dogo: heck yeah.

Kion: Kay dude, ya ready?

Dogo: yeah dude, launch it.

Kion: alright then.(activates the jump set)alright sonic you can do it dude.

Dogo: go go go go go go go go.

Sonic jumps off the ramp in slow motion and lands in the pool

Kion and dogo: he went in!

Dogo: dude, that was awesome!

Kion: Kay dogo, you want a turn?

Dogo: am I in the pride lands awaiting my first kupatana?

Kion: well, yeah.

Dogo: then there's your answer.

Kion: awesome! alright dude now get it ready, I wanna watch sonic go down.

Dogo: You got it.

Kion runs down to the bottom of Pride Rock 

Kion: alright dogo, launch sonic.

Dogo: Kay Kay.(grunts in a way in which you're throwing something)

Kion: woah(runs out of the way and the toy smashes to the ground)

Dogo: awe-some.

Kion: dogo you broke it!

Dogo: no I didn't.

Dogs runs to Kion

Kion: dogo, you were supposed to launch sonic not the whole thing.

Dogo: well I didn't know that.

Kion: great. what are we gonna do now?

Dogo: oh wait Kion, I know.

Kion looks at dogo 

Dogo: you wanna lock mufasa in the bathroom?

Kion: boss.

Kion and dogo run to the bathroom 

Scene cuts to the bathroom and inside mufasa is using it, don't worry we're not looking in

Kion and dogo put a chair against the door while snickering

Kion: alright dude, let's bail.

Kion and dogo run off into the kitchen

Kion: Kay dogo, whatya wanna do now?

Dogo: I wanna put my penis in the cheerio box

Dogo puts his penis in the cheerio box and shakes it

Dogo: well that's enough of that,phew.

Kion: so whatya wanna do now?

Dogo: well I'm kinda hungry.

Kion: alright then, let's see what zazu left us in the fridge.

Kion opens the fridge

Kion: let's see here. ooh, cheesecake.

Dogo: cheesecake?

Kion: yeah dude, it's cake made outa cheese, ya want some?

Dogo: I like cheese.

Kion: yeah dude, it's really good, and cake.

Scene cuts to Kion and dogo finishing the cheesecake

Kion: dang dogo. that cheesecake was really good

Dogo: yeah no kiddin kion. it would've tasted a lot better if we put whipped cream on it.

Kion: oh god yes, that's what was missing.

Dogo looks at the clock

Dogo: it's getting pretty late. I should probably head out.

Kion: you can stay here for the night dude. and tomorrow we'll find you a nice home and then we can prepare for kupatana.

Dogo smiles

Dogo: thanks Kion

Kion: no prob dogo, let's get to bed.

Dogo: alright then

Kion and Dogo head into kion's room

Dogo: this is your room?

Kion: pretty much really.

Dogo tackles kion and they laugh a bit

Kion: ya know dogo, i actually had some predicaments about one of the band gods being a jackal. and maybe that jackal, is you.

Dogo: you really think so?

Kion: if you're pure enough, then yeah.

Dogo smiles

Kion: we should probably head to bed little dude. the guys are helping with kupatana, and i can't be late.

Dogo: alright.

Kion and dogo hop into bed

Dogo: must be lucky sleeping on top huh?

Kion: yeah, it really is.

Kion and dogo go to sleep

Narrator: as Kion and dogo have become very good friends and are looking forward to kupatana, dogo still questions if what he is doing is is the get or wrong? will rei rei end up taking over kupatana? or will our heroes be able to stop the upcoming threat? only time will tell. stay tuned in next time for the next pride land adventures.

Kion: dang dogo is awesome. so yeah, dogo helped us out a bit with kupatana I gotta say. he did a really awesome job. we became friends right off the bat and ever since I saved him from janja, and he's been so loyal to us. only one problem. turns out dogo's got family after all. but hey, no matter. I mean, I'm sure I can convince dad to let them join too, once I explain to him that is.

Kion: next time, the day of kupatana part two. let's hope dogo enjoys his first ever kupatana, cause it's tomorrow. why am I suspicious about his mom though?
