Narrator: long ago, seven legendary gods of power were sealed away in magical instruments awaiting the day their chosen heirs found them. these gods are known as, the band gods.

(Theme music from dragon ball original plays)

Chorus:(singing)band gods, gotta find those band gods, don't stop till you've found Em all the seven magic gods, it's all you've gotta do to make the band of life, get those band gods, band gods, the greatest test of all is to find that seventh God, danger all around you, evil everywhere, evil will surround you, keep on searching but beware, Kion, he's gonna show you, he and his friends will find a way, Kion, he's gonna show you, he and his friends are gonna save the day, band gods, there's always evil searching for the band gods, you can always listen for when the guitar calls,you won't believe the magic in the seven gods, you can put you're trust inside of the band gods.

Narrator: previously in pride land adventures, we got a glimpse of what kion's life was like before he became a band god, and while it was brutal for him, he did end up getting the opportunity to meet mheetu. now we get to see what jasiri's life was like before she met Kion and became a pride lander, how was jasiri's life like before today, let's find out.

(Dragon ball z ost theme plays and the title screen says jasiri's dark past)

Scene cuts to jasiri as a two year old running out of janja's territory

Jasiri: good, I think I lost him. now I just have to find these items before janja can get to me. let's head out.

 Three days later

Jasiri starts panting of dehydration

Jasiri: God! it's, so, hot, but it's still better than living with janja, oh god.

Jasiri lies down as a young lion cub is seen in the background

Young lion cub: huh?

The lion cub sees jasiri exhausted and walks up to her

Young lion cub: hey.

Jasiri: huh?

Young lion cub: you alright?

Scene cuts to the young lion cubs territory

Jasiri: thanks dude. I really needed this.

Young lion cub: no prob. by the way, my names kovu.

Jasiri: nice to meet you kovu. names jasiri.

Kovu and jasiri fist bump

Kovu: so why exactly are you all the way out here on your own? shouldn't you be with your family?

Jasiri: I wish I had family. heck the only family I have is janja, and all he does is torture me.

Kovu:what about your parents?

Jasiri: my mom died about three months ago, and i never met my dad. that's how long janja has been abusing me for, heck I've been running from him for three days and now I practically burned myself in the process.

Kovu: wow, you seem to have a really sad backstory. heck I don't even know about my family, or at least not my parents.

Jasiri: so you live here by yourself then? must be hard.

Kovu: I manage. so where ya headed?

Jasiri: I honestly wish I knew. I'm looking for these.

Jasiri unfolds her scroll and shows it to kovu

Kovu: the items of the portal world. why ya looking for those?

Jasiri: let's just say that someone I hold near and dear to my heart is trapped there, and I hate knowing that I'm the cause of it.

Kovu: why do you say that?

Jasiri: ugh, if I wasn't such a wimp then I probably would've been able to save her. I still remember those last words she told me though.

Kovu:what were they?

Jasiri: she said, no matter what, give everyone a chance, no matter what the species.

Kovu: she must've been really nice for you to care for her this much.

Jasiri: yeah. she wasn't my real sister, but she felt like a sister to me.

Kovu: you must really wanna get her back.

Jasiri: yeah, I just don't know if this'll work or not. and what if it does? will janja come after me? will the apocalypse start? I don't know, I'm not the portal.

Kovu: life can be rough jasiri. the only thing you can do about it is live past the bad stuff, and enjoy the good stuff left inside of you.

Jasiri: I guess I'll try.

Kovu: good, now let's get to bed. you have a huge adventure ahead of you for tomorrow. I wouldn't wanna keep you up.

Jasiri: thanks kovu.

Kovu and jasiri go to where kovu sleeps

Jasiri: night kovu.

Kovu: night jasiri.

Kovu and jasiri go to bed

The next day kovu and jasiri hear an explosion

Jasiri: what the heck was that?

Kovu: I don't know jasiri, let's check it out.

kovu and jasiri run towards the explosion

Jasiri: whoa, major damage.

Kovu: yeah, you said it.

Jasiri finds a mysterious shadow

Kovu: what is it jasiri?

Jasiri: I just thought I, sensed something.

Kovu: yeah, weird stuff happens in the out lands all the time.

Then the mysterious shadow runs over to them and tackles kovu

Mysterious shadow: stay off my turf, got it?

Jasiri: well, we heard an explosion on your turf, so of course we came to see what was up.

Mysterious shadow: pfft, whatever. I suggest you carry on now. what's here is none of you're business.

Jasiri: so, the explosion is meant to stay secret?

Mysterious shadow: well, no, that I can inform you about.

Kovu: what happened with the explosion then?

Mysterious shadow: follow me, and you question will be answered.

Kovu and jasiri follow the mysterious shadow

Mysterious shadow: you see young ones, there is a time in which we must fight to get what we desire. here in the out lands it's everyone for themselves, and no one is an exception.

Jasiri: but why would that be a law out here? and why would it cause explosions?

Mysterious shadow: that, I wish I knew. for many years we've been forced to battle just to get what we desire, it's dark, but it works quite well. I just wish we didn't have to resort to violence in order to get what we wish for, I just wish it was far more peaceful out here, sadly though, that is just not meant to be.

Jasiri: well you can at least try. what's the harm in it?

Kovu notices a hyena with janjas design hovering above them

Kovu: I think I just found out jasiri.

Jasiri: what is it kovu?

Jasiri looks up and becomes shocked

Kovu: who is that?

Jasiri: janja!

Janja: that's right jasiri. I guess you found out that the our lands is more than just mine huh?

Jasiri: no duh, who would give an entire pride to you?

Janja: oh how sad, she thinks she can win. that lightning kick you laid on me four days ago was nothing compared to what I'm about to unleash on you.

Kovu: hey, back off! she's suffered enough from you!

Janja: a lion, helping a hyena?

Kovu: that's right janja, now back off!

Janja snickers a bit

Janja: and what if I don't want to?

kovu places his paw on the ground and forces darkness out of it

Jasiri: what the heck?

Kovu: time to get your but kicked janja.

Kovu blasts a huge darkness beam at janja and sends him towards to out lands wall

Janja: why you little!

Jasiri: wow kovu. I didn't know you could do that.

Kovu: yeah, I was born with it I think.

Mysterious shadow: incredible. I've never seen power like that in my life.

Kovu: really?

Mysterious shadow: yes, it's amazing to see power be unleashed like that. and on janja, you must have a pure heart kovu. tell me, what is your reason for helping jasiri?

Kovu: well, she's looking for mystical items of power to open up the portal world and save her friend moana. do you by any chance, know where it is?

Mysterious shadow: as a matter a fact I do. however, jasiri being herself, must find them all on her own. for it is her destiny, and in two years, she will meet a very kind hearted lion cub with a heart of pure gold, and together they will protect the pride lands, and eventually with the help of this young cub, you will find the items to the portal world, and save moana.

Jasiri: If you say so dude. sorry kovu, but I've gotta do this on my own.

Kovu: I understand, good luck jasiri.

Jasiri: thanks, bye.

Jasiri runs off awaiting the day she met this lion cub

Six hours later

Jasiri: well, I might as well find some shelter for the night. where to set up though?

Jasiri looks around for a den she can use for her shelter

Jasiri: no, not there, that's ones taken, too small, too big, which one do I want?

Jasiri keeps on looking until she eventually finds the perfect den

Jasiri: here it is.

Once jasiri gets inside the den she unpacks all of her stuff and sets it up

Jasiri: alright now, the bed goes here, the kitchen goes here, and here we have the living room, and here's the stereo, and, I think I'm set.

Just then jasiri hears a young jackal pup yelping

Jasiri: huh?

Scene cuts to the young jackal pup who's being crushed by janja

Janja: alright brat, time to be vanquished.

At that moment jasiri tackles janja

Jasiri: leave him alone janja. he didn't do anything to you.

Janja: like I care. he's mine.

Jasiri the absorbs lightning and punches janja in the face knocking him out and impressing the young jackal pup

Jasiri: like I said. leave, him, alone.

Jasiri walks to the young jackal pup

Jasiri: you alright there dude?

The young jackal pup nods yes

Jasiri: good. take this. 

Jasiri hands the jackal pup a steak

Jasiri: it should keep you full for a while now.

Young jackal pup: th-thank you.

The young jackal pup runs off to his den

Jasiri: might as well get to bed too. don't wanna stay up too late now.

Jasiri goes into her room and goes to bed

Scene cuts to janja at his lair

Janja: and it was so weird, it's like she has like, lightning powers or somethin.

Cheezi: Lightning powers you say? perhaps she could be one of them.

Chungu: one of them? one or what?

Janja: let's ask our master, he'll know.

Janja cheezi and chungu walk over to dark kion

Janja: master, about my sister, she seems to have this weird ability to use lightning and thunder to her advantage. we think she could be one of the seven band gods you told us about.

Dark kion drinks from his d.r pepper.

Dark kion: I see. make sure she doesn't find the other band gods, because if she does, then the out lands will be vanquished, and we will all fall under their power. as soon as you see her again, capture her in a fire cage, and do not let her out under any circumstances, do you read me?

Janja: yes master, we will do as you wish.

Dark kion: good, because if you do so, the band gods will be no more.

Two years later jasiri wakes up to make breakfast

Jasiri: alright, now I have this, and this, and some of that.

Jasiri makes her breakfast and then eats it

Jasiri: oh wait, gotta check what day it is.

Jasiri checks the calendar and is excited at what it says

Jasiri: yes! finally the day is here!

Jasiri runs out of her den

Jasiri: alright, two years ago the mysterious shadow dude said that I would meet a lion cub and together we would protect the pride lands from all kinds of evil. and today's that day, I've gotta find that lion cub.

Jasiri runs off to flat ridge rock awaiting for the lion cub to come

Jasiri: I know he's here, I can sense it. don't worry moana, you'll be safe soon.

Jasiri notices kion running by

Jasiri: could that Mohawk kid be him?

Jasiri jumps down from the rock

Jasiri: I can sense some purity from him, and a heart of pure gold, it's gotta be him.

With that jasiri followed Kion and blended in with the shadows.

Jasiri tries to sneak up on Kion but he notices her pass by 

Kion: huh?

Jasiri: keeps hiding from him

Kion: who are you? I command you. show yourself!

Jasiri reveals herself in the shadows

Jasiri: if you wish dude.

Kion: who are you?

Jasiri: names jasiri. if you wanna know.

Kion: weird, I honestly thought all hyenas were dudes.

Jasiri: that's sexist.

Kion: right, sorry.

Kion places his paw on jasiri's chest and it glows green

Kion: you're pure alright.

Jasiri: not one to judge huh?

Kion: well, not all out landers are bad jasiri. some can be good, and you're one of the good ones. sisi ni sawa.

Jasiri smiles

Jasiri: thanks kid.

Kion: no prob. oh yeah, and by the way, my names Kion.

Jasiri: cool.

Kion and jasiri fist bump

Narrator: and from that moment alone, jasiri's life became something wonderful. going on many adventures with Kion, will she succeed at freeing moana from the portal world? and will she and Kion ever confess their feelings for each other? only time will tell. stay tuned in next time for the next pride land adventures.

Kion: oh my god, this little jackal dude is so adorable. in case you're wondering it's been a month since me and my friends were training to protect kupatana, and were on our last day, and on that day in particular we meet a young jackal pup who we invite for kupatana. he seems really excited about it and is willing to do just about anything I say. let's just hope we can protect kupatana from vitani, and in addition to that, I can sense some really purity from this jackal pup. he might be the jackal that could be one of the band gods. let's find out.
